Whenever we are in the neighborhood we check out this stacks. It has the best service of the three. If there is a line don't let it scare you because they are pretty quick with turning tables around. The food is always great. Kudos

Awesome bread-and-butter menu for brunch. The problem is that it's always mobbed, so tough to wait if you have kids.

This is not a review of the food. We were a party of 5 + 1 infant who waited outside for our table to be called. When our table was called, not all of us were immediately on site as some were visiting a neighboring store. The host refused to seat those of us who were on site and instead passed up our table. I found it outrageous that the host would not seat us because we weren't all within his eyesight. We would have waited for the next table except for the host's unapologetic attitude on this out of the blue policy. Obviously they did not want our business. Instead, we went across the street to Cafe Barrone, where the atmosphere is always welcoming.

Man this place has the best pancakes this side of the Mississippi River, but be ready to wait cause it may take a while. However the food is great, the plates are huge and the staff is more than happy to serve you. If you are in Menlo Park stop by for breakfast you will be glad you did. They are open for lunch as well.

Like many popular places with good service and good food, the wait can be long but is definitely worth it. The servers are friendly and accomodating. The dishes are huge but good sized for a brunch.

This place has the best breakfast ever. Although the waiting time is terrible the food is worth the wait. Have to try the Pancakes.

Very good diner food (pancakes, eggs, salads, deserts, home style cooking...) in down town Menlo Park. Ideal for brunch. Service is very friendly and fast, and there is never ending coffee. This place is very popular and always pretty full - so much so that they only need to open until 3pm - so don't get there too late for brunch....

PROS: good service, good food, never ending coffee
CONS: very popular - there's oftern a line at peak times, only open til 3pm

Brunch times can get crowded and you may have to wait, but it's worth it! One of the best brunches I've had in a long time- the pancakes here are to die for! The service is great- very fast and friendly, even during busy hours. A great

My family and i (4 kids) have enjoyed Stack each time we have gone there. The food is good, hot, and served quickly. Service has always been execpetional. The only complaint is on weekend mornings the lines are long. They will take reservations for large groups. I believe they represent good value.

PROS: Value, service, speed
CONS: wait on weekend mornings

If you have an an hour or more to wait in line with other hungry people, then breafast at Stacks might be a good experience.

But if you or your kids want to eat when your hungry, and don't like long lines, then this pancake house isn't for you.

The wait staff is super friendly and helpful, however.

Stacks is great. It is WAY better than Ihop or Denney's which both serve you bad quality, frozen foods. Stacks is different, and I am a person who lives for pancakes. It is kind of expensive for a pancake place though. It has a great location in Downtown Menlo Park and you can tell that everybody loves it. Its murder trying to get in on a morning during the weekend, the line is outside its that big! Great food.

It may look like just another family restaurant, but the brunch food here is really good. I particularly like the crab crepes. I'd stay away from the lunch menu; there's nothing wrong with it, but there's nothing special about it either.

PROS: Great for brunch
CONS: Long wait on weekends
