I love that I live right around the corner from this place. The burritos are big and reasonably priced. The service is fast. The people who work here are friendly even though they deal with drunks and hipsters (and drunk hipsters) all day long. The salsa bar is terrific - great salsa verde with avocado chunks. They have lots of solid vegetarian options, and their veggie burritos aren't full or weird veggies like the ones at some places (you know who you are, El Matate.) Truth be told, it's not the best Mexican food you'll ever taste, but it's a respectable candidate for best burrito in the Mission.

This such a friendly environment. Not only that the food is excellent. My favorite is the burritos. My husband loves the steak plate very good. The drink are juices are all homemade.

Pancho villa stands apart from many other taquerias because all the ingredients taste so fresh. They agua frescas are always so refreshing. The employees are very pleasant. I love the carne asada burrito!!

A burrito factory line
by ahchay
I eat here at least once a week. It's an assembly line that Henry Ford would approve of. Everything is good. The burritos are a staple, but when I have time (and the appetite) the combo plates are overflowing with food and value.
