Great yoga get away in the heart of Texas!
by jennifer a.
This is my favorite place to get away from the hustle of life and get intimate with myself. The class sizes are manageable, the postures are challenging and toxins pour out of the body and mind. The first 20 minutes is full of powerful core building movements followed by a brief discussion of how everyone is doing, almost as if the teacher uses this to set the mood or intention of the class, which to me feel intuitive on the teachers part and I appreciate that. The rest of the class is full of exploring your body and mind as you move through the almost wave like flow of postures. Modifying the poses to accommodate your body's limits is always welcome here. The classes end with deep relaxation and an occasional massage with aromatherapy oils. I can't think of a better way to end a hectic day then spending time with yourself in this wonderful yogi community.

Authentic Yoga not Gym Yoga
by Nancien
This studio is a great find tucked away on Addison Circle. You feel the positive energy the moment you enter the studio. Everyone is friendly and the owners and instructors create a safe place for you to take your yogi journey. I always feel comfortable taking a gentle practice or going for it! The instructors are knowledgeable in all aspects of yoga and lead classes that are structured but never boring. They demonstrate different levels of difficulty for most poses so whether you are experienced or a beginner yogi you feel like you are progressing in your practice. I highly recommend this studio for people that are looking for an exceptional experience.
Pros: The weekend warrior classes are killer! They also 7:45 PM classes during the week.

Real Yoga in the Western World
by togardner
I started going to Gaia Flow Yoga about 2 years ago after practicing fitness yoga for about 4 or 5 years. I love the atmosphere and spiritual component that Gaia Flow adds to their practice. I have seen so many positive changes in my life since practicing here. All of the courage that I gain in my yoga practice has carried over into my life and I find myself pushing boundaries both on and off my mat. I attribute all of these changes to the wonderful teachings of Chrystal and Andres. Their gentle guidance has made a world of difference for me and I would encourage anyone to try their practice. If you are looking for more than a physical workout then this is the place for you. But, if you are only intereseted in a good workout, then this is the place for you too. I have never had a workout that addressed so many areas at once and leaves me feeling alive and envigorated. I know that Gaia Flow Yoga will always hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to continuing to grow with them for many years.
Pros: I have nothing but good things to say about this place!

Best studio in the metroplex
by Bollockitty
I started out not knowing anything about yoga, not the poses, the breath, or even the core principles. I went to Gaia Flow Yoga on a whim and the moment I left my first practice I was hooked. The instructors are well experienced and devote their time to adjust the students while queing variations of poses ranging from the simple to the most advanced. Bandhas, lines of energy, and breath are all emphasized throughout the class which seperates the studio from just being a wokout from the actual yoga that it is. The core classes of ocean, mountain and desert are challenging but the atmosphere created by both the instructors and students is encouraging and warm. The most experienced students and those who have just started lay their mats side by side and by the end of class are new born friends. The music in the class is upbeat and sets the tone for each individualized flow that ranges from holding poses for minutes to fast paced and getting the body flowing. No matter what the practice however, the end result for every studenty is apparent; euphoria. If you are looking for a challenge, a fresh start, or just want to try it on a whim like I did, I highly recommend Gaia Flow Yoga for everyone.
Pros: Atmosphere, temperature, instructors
Cons: it was all good!!!!
