WOW! Like you RC..The same thing happened to us on a 2008 Weekend Warrior In feb 2008. We were lied to by the Finance department on our trade in and it snowballed in to the 2008 Weekend Warrior. When we did are walk thru on the trailer it was Filthy dirty and So many items were broken. It was clear that the trailer had been used. There was garbage in all of the cabinets and the walls were dirty and sticky! We had the salesperson apologized to us before the owner and his brother saw the condition of the trailer. Everyone started pointing fingers. They (The Owner) in turn ordered another unit that was suppose to be in by April 2008. The trailer never arrived after many calls to Alpine. We called weekend Warrior Direct and were told that the trailer would not be on the lot for months to come. Never have we ever been so lied to and deceived. HUGE warning to anyone who attempts to get an honest deal from Alpine RV. Like you we looked for another dealer and found one that was very honest. Need there number? . One more thing RC..They ran a forklift into our 2006 36' Winnebago SE. Nice hu?

On 09-01-2008, Alpine RV provided a written quote (email) for a 2009 Damon Astoria Class A motorhome. On 09-02-2008, Alpine RV rescinded their written quote. Alpine RV had forwarded us an MSRP document which described the standard features/options/and MSRP price. Approximatley one month later, Alpine RV agreed to uphold their original offer. On 10-04-2008, we drove several hours to the dealership to meet with Alpine RV to consummate the transaction only to find that the unit had sustained body damage totaling several thousand dollars allegedly the day prior. Additionally, we found that the motorhome did not have the amenities described ie ceramic floor tile, dual pane windows, inverter, solid surface countertops and a stainless rock guard. Additionally, the unit did not have many other standard features of a 2009 model year. It appeared to me that the motorhome was a 2008 model year being sold as a 2009 model year. Other suspicious factors as well about this motorhome caused us to decline. I am puzzled how a dealership can take delivery of a motorhome from the manufacturer lacking so many obvious amenities which are noted on the associated documents. Alpine RV acted so surprised to have overlooked these discrepancies when we pointed them out. I am looking for the same motorhome but from another dealer. The essential element of trust in such a significant transaction was lost.

You are their best friend until you sign the docs and suddenly they don't have any need for a continued relationship with you. Service department seems annoyed when dealing with you. They need to understand that development of customer relationships will not only bring people back, but will cause them to recommend their company to others. As it stands now, I will tell others NOT to reward Alpine RV with their business.

When looking for a tent trailer to buy my husband and I went here to check it out... We walked in the front door and was instantly stopped by a "Hostess" who would not allow us to go any further until a sales person came to escort us around. When we explained what we were looking for he told us they didn't have any and tried to push (& pushed hard) for us to look at something more - size and price. Although we enjoyed checking out the fancy trailers they have out there now we knew they were more than we needed and wanted but they kept pushing... The free soda and cookies, trying to find something in common with us and our daughter to keep us was just over the top since we had made it clear we weren't interested in what they had - we felt trapped!!! I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy being pressured beyond belief, smothered, trapped, etc...

Bad Customer Service. Follow up on parts was extremely bad.
We will take our Trailer else were for service. My Sister an I are both in profession's that require the Best customer service in order to keep our client Base. Refferal's are key and we will not be reffering Alpine.

I was miss lead by the fancy showroom, free soft drink and hot cookies. After signing my name to the paper work and giving them over $150K I was shocked to find out the attention I received stopped then and there. This began from the time I went to pick up and got locked in the yard and forgotten about to the misleading owners information all the way to the preparation that was done on the coach. unfortunately it didn't stop there, the promised weekend service was non existent, followed by lost service parts and then poor workmanship on repairs. This included never followed up emails to company management. I can't warn you enough to not be taken in by the fancy showroom and the promises made.
