This place is going to be great once they finish all their updates! I took a spin class for my first time there and the instructor, Kent, had so much positive energy - I didn't even realize how hard I was working because I was having so much fun peddling my legs to the music. They even offer your first consecutive three days of classes free - Give it a try!

I recently went to Inner Strength for my first time and I had an awesome experience. The spinning class was really fun and everyone was really nice. Ownership just changed this week and I guess they have big plans for the place. I'm excited that it's only going to get better.

Absolutely the WORST experience ever!! Mediocre teachers, challenged by a yoga teacher about an injury I have (I am an orthopedic surgeon) and an unresponsive owner. Don't go there

I usually don't go for classes because I feel like I'm not getting enough of out them but have been to a few spinning classes at Inner Strength and think they are just great. As a biker, the spinning will be a nice complement to my riding and help me stay in shape over the winter. I will definitely be back to this place!

I have now been to 3 classes at Inner Strength Fitness and am sold!
They specialize in four things: Spinning, Yoga, Bootcamp and group bike rides (and they also have combination courses, too).
I have gone to a number of clubs in the Twin Cities and in other cities, and I feel that there are so many reasons to go to Inner Strength Fitness. Here are my top 5.
1- it is a great change of scenery to the corporate, meat-market type clubs. From the first moment I walked in the door, I felt like family. They take pride in knowing you by name and making sure you feel comfortable with the course.
2- Great classes! Great instructors, great music, great studio, great (brand new!) equipment.
3- Great schedule- they have so many classes to pick from, there is no way that one wouldn't fit your schedule.
4- Pay as you go! No membership fees, you only pay for what you use.
5- Locally owned. A great way to support a business owned by locals. They also give back to the community by donating a part of their profits to local charities.
And finally, your first class is free, so there is no risk in trying!
The only thing I found frustrating here was finding it the first time. I grew up not far from where the studio is located, but had not been there in years and found it confusing to get on the correct side of light rail tracks. I even had my mapquest map, but it was totally off. I almost gave up on my way there, but I'm glad I didn't. I will never belong to a large, corporate-like club again!
