I live on a horse property with too many feral cats. I have taken one female and one male to the North Phoenix Spay & Neuter Clinic and am very pleased with the service. I am able to save the lives of these cats, provide for them and know that they will no longer produce kittens. Besides, they hunt for mice and gophers. My neighbors have used these services and recommended them to me. I'm so glad they did and I want to recommend them to others.

In response to Rick T (comment below). What an idiot!!! I bet he didn't even buy an e-collar for his animal. Pets today often are given self--dissolving stitches (human's as well). It is YOUR RESPONSIBILTY TO WATCH your pet after surgury. If your pet had an e-collar--which is always recommended after surgury--your pet would be just fine. Typical cheap--ass--whom wants the world class service on a shoe string budget!!
By the way I'm a customer there--I don't work their. My husband & I had Mr Anderson perform & save the life of our shih tzu with major-closing an entire ear canal--numberous growth's removed,... we found her living on the street's (badly abused) in Phoenix.
E-collar--is a MUST to BUY ( and sold--their--same price as Petsmart)--so QUIT being SOOOOOO CHEAP!!!! Your're already saving a ton of money taking your pet their in the first place!!!!
Thanks, Julie & Terry --forever loyal customers

This place should be shut down. We brought our cat to be spayed, she was perfectly healthy and active beforehand. We come home and, after a couple hours, we notice that her surgery wound has been completely ripped open. We thought that maybe the cat was overly aggressive in licking herself, but after bringing her to an emergency care clinic, we were informed that they had actually never sutured the wound at all, they had just glued it shut. The people at the clinic informed us that the North Phoenix Spay and Neuter clinic has a reputation for running thing as an "assembly line" where they spend as little time as possible on each cat, apparently not even enough time to properly close the surgery wound.

As if all this wasn't bad enough, our cat then progressively got sicker (over the next 2 days) and ended up having a urinary tract infection. Apparently the clinic is very lax about sanitation and our cat was infected. We have now had to spend over $200 within the two days after getting our cat spayed in hopes of getting her back to health.

Please stay away from this place as they don't care about your pets and it could end up costing you much more, in the end, than going to a reputable vet. I am considering pursuing legal action as this place needs to be shutdown

I took my dog to this clinic and a year later took my rabbit and both times they did a great job. I even got a follow up call on my rabbit. This is low cost, the location of the clinic is not the best but for a low cost alternative to taking your pet to your regular vet this clinic was great. My animals had no problem with the medication they gave them and stitches were great.

If you care about your pets, I highly recommend you Stay away from this place!!!
Today would have been Princess' birthday.
She was a beautiful Bichon Friese.
We took her to this place to get neutered and 8 hours later she was dead. She was only 4 years old.
Shame on these people!

:I took my Aussie puppy in June to get spayed. It was about 1/3 of the cost my vet was going to charge. My total cost was $94 which 14 of it was for an e collar as my dog was licking her stitches. You drop off between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. and you pick up between 4:00 and 5:00. My dog did fine however she developed an egg sized lump under the incision a week after the surgery. I called and the receptionist was friendly and said to bring her back to get looked at between 9 and 2. I went in and I was there less than 10 minutes. They had to drain some fluid from the lump. It was a reaction to the stitches. I was not charged for it. She said it could build up again and if it did just bring her back, but that it would go away on its own eventually. I would advise to get there early for the drop off they are extremely busy.

This is a low-cost spay and neuter clinic. I took all of my rabbits to get spayed here - it was a fraction of the cost I would have had to pay at the vet. The location is not great, but the staff are friendly enough. You have to drop your animal off in the early morning and you can't pick it back up until late in the day. My rabbits did not respond well to the amount of anesthesia they used, but they did not develop any complications to the surgery. There was no follow up by the staff to make sure the animal was okay.

This is an incredible clinic offering spay and neuter at great prices!!! Spay and neuter is the MOST important thing you can do for you pet and for the over population of animals in Phoenix. Dr. Anderson is very experienced, as the staff is so you can feel very comfortable having your pet altered. They are conveniently located in Phoenix at 16Th Street and Bell. Please have your pets altered at this clinic!

Looking for a low-cost neuter option, I was referred to this place by a coworker. While this was about 75 dollars cheaper than my normal vet, I was absolutely disgusted with the customer service of the receptionist. Every time I called for information prior to the procedure or for post-op pickup information, she was extremely rude and short. She snapped at my girlfriend the day before the surgery when all she was trying to do was confirm the appointment. The receptionist snapped "I'm nowhere near a computer right now!" and then quickly put her on hold. On the day of the operation, I was told he would be ready at 4 or 5. I got a message around 1:30 that he was ready. As I was at work, I returned the call at around 3 to tell them I would pick him up at 4 and she said "Well the sooner the better cuz once the animals are picked up we're outta here!" Does she actually believe that none of their clients have jobs that require them to work to at least 4??!! She was an absolute b-word (fat biker chic - need I say more) and I am not an easily-iritated person. So, decide whether poor customer service is worth giving up to save a hundred bucks or so before you decide to go to NPSNC.

I work with a rescue agency and this clinic is excellent in both service and cost. Highly recommended if you are living in this area and need to have your pet spayed or neutered.
