Worst Delivery Experience EVER!!!!!!!
by JadeTree
My husband and I tried to get delivery early on a Friday night. My first call took over 10 minutes as I repeated everything I ordered several times because the woman did not understand me. Finally, we had everything settled and she told me 45 minutes for delivery and hung up. Several moments later the phone rang and it was a different woman from the restaurant saying that they did not have one of the items we ordered. Being that that was the only thing my husband wanted, I said that we would like to cancel the order. This woman told me that she'd rather I picked something else. I said no - please cancel the ENTIRE order. She mumbled something about her manager not being there and then hung up. Two hours (2 hours!!) later our phone rang - a delivery man from Green View Thai was at our door. My husband told him that we had cancelled our order and to please not charge our credit card. Just to be sure, I called the restaurant and told them we had cancelled our order and would not accept any charges on the card. I was passed to three different women before I landed with one who told me that they had given me %75 off. I told her that we had cancelled the order and she started arguing with me!! She said that she was going to charge me because I had said cancel the ENTIRE order - ENTIRE being a vocabulary word that they did not understand - and therefore it was my fault! She told me that for them to understand me I should have said cancel the WHOLE order. I told her that she was out of her mind and that if any charge showed up on my card she could be sure that it will be contested. She told me again that it was my fault - I should have said WHOLE and then HUNG UP!!!!!!!!!!!! I am truly baffled. This is seriously the worst food delivery experience I've ever had. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Cons: ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!

GREAT PLACE!
by djbecker69
I just got home from eating at this restaurant and knew I had to write a review. The prices are cheap and the food was great. The place is clean, with a proper table setting right down to the elegantly folded napkins. The interior is very cozy and hip and they even played a really cool variety of music at a reasonable decibel level. In my hour long dinner I heard the Beetles, LIL Wayne, Classic Motown and a lot of other cool tunes.
My 5 year old son felt comfortable there which is saying a lot as he has autism and does not usually do well in public places. He also LOVED the chicken Satay. He had something that they called "apple juice" which he hated. It was actually a green sour apple syrup and soda. The Green Curry Chicken with Coconut rice was yummy. I wanted to have dessert but I was too full!
Service was friendly and they did not hover which I liked. I can't wait to go back with my boyfriend!
Pros: Good Food, great prices, nice atmosphere, nice staff.
Cons: In a strip mall which you don't usually think would be good for anything but a quick lunch.

Mediocre to bad service with mediocre food
by toq
Although the ambience is quaint, that's about the only positive thing you can say about this place. The service is mediocre when you dine there, and when you call for delivery, they have about a 50% chance of being late with your order. It once took them an hour and half to deliver my order. The food itself is nothing to rave about. It'll do if you feel there are few choices and you are absolutely starving, but don't expect to be wowed. There's another much better Thai restaurant just once block west. Go there instead if taste and service is important to you.
Pros: Ambience, parking
Cons: Below par food, mediocre service, no desire to cater to customers

Came late, not very good... at least it was cheap
by patchinko
We ordered from Greenview for delivery. Though we are only about a two and a half miles from the restaurant, our food arrived over an hour after we ordered (Sunday night at 8PM or so). We had the Chicken Pad Thai and the Mongolian combos, each $6.50 and including fried rice (in the traditional "big scoop" shape), an egg roll and a side salad.
None of it was particularly good. The Mongolian was passable, and the meat was of a mediocre quality. The Chicken Pad Thai was sticky and lacked in flavor. There was almost no chicken, and what chicken there was was very low quality. The fried rice was all but flavorless, the egg roll was not quite as good as what one would get from Panda Express, and the salad was nothing to comment on.
For delivery Thai in the area, Thai Fresh is better than Greenview. They're similar prices, both very cheap, but Thai Fresh is better.
If you're going to go out or are looking for really good Thai, maybe try Natalee Thai on Robertson or Venice. It's a couple miles farther away, but the taste difference is significant without being too much more expensive (keep in mind with these kinds of places, you usually get what you pay for!). Natalee on Robertson has even delivered all the way out to Westwood for me before.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Slow delivery. Bland, uninspired food.

Very fresh food with homemade style ingredients
by cpitkanen
I'm pretty picky but this place blew me away! The interior was beautiful and the prices were super cheap. Good place to take a date on a budget. I had some Tom ka kai soup, coconut w/shrimp, I could see actual lemon pulp in it, the shrimp tasted like it was freshly caught and delivered and even the spicy chile inside was fresh, not those dried shriveled ones I see in all the other asian food I order. I felt like I couldn't get better Thai, it was as good as being invited into someone's home for an authentic dinner. I can't wait to try more! The only kicker was parking... they have a large lot that they share with several other businesses, I went during lunch rush hour though, might be different during dinner and I noticed that they deliver too. YUM!
Pros: Price, Quality, Fresh Ingredients, Ambience
Cons: Parking

Always hot and fresh........ I have ordered three times now and am satisfied with the food and prompt delivery.. The vegetable fried rice was full of veggies and very good. The pan fried noodles were delicious! Decent quality for the price.
Pros: Prompt delivery, always hot upon arrival.

Great Delivery
by jennster
For those too lazy to drive anywhere, this is the perfect solution. I don't think I've ever actually eaten at the restaurant, but I sure do order a lot of delivery from them. I'm a huge fan of their panang curry with the coconut rice and their spicy fried rice. I order everything with tofu and personally, I like it even better than chicken or beef. The tofu soaks up all the spices and is very flavorful. Everything is always fresh and hot when it arrives at my door and service is never an issue. It's the standard delivery time for West LA...30 mins to an hour. As for the drinks...I wouldn't recommend ordering those. That's probably still a work in progress from them. (Whenever I've ordered their boba drinks...I've had to just throw them out.) Hope you enjoy the food as much as I do!
Pros: Great for Delivery
Cons: Drinks
