Rosanna @ Moxy Hair

After going to Rosanna for the last 5 years I can say that I will not let anyone else touch my hair, except her. She is very friendly and outgoing, and makes you feel important when coming to the salon. Your ideas and thoughts are taken into consideration, and it shows in the final style and color of you hair. Each time I leave the salon feeling happy, confident, and looking for ward to the next visit to Rosanna. She makes sure that your style is condusive to what you had in mind, and never imposes her own "vision" for your hair, unless it is asked for. She does the best color I have ever seen, and is excellent at making suggestions for new products that can help make your hair look as good everyday as it does when she is finished with it. She is a very fun person, a good listener, and a very skilled stylist. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

After a long, dare I say excruciating, search for the perfect hairdresser, I have finally found one in Rosanna. Not only does she have the technical training, but she is extremely personable. When you have an appointment with her, you never feel rushed. Once you sit down in the chair, she makes it seem like she has all the time in the world to create the style that you want. Unlike other stylists who seem hell-bent upon imposing their vision on you, whether you like it or not, Rosanna graciously listens to what you want and uses her skills to make the style even better than you originally could have imagined.

After having read through most of the hair salon listings on citysearch, I felt that Rosanna would be the right person to become my girlfriends regular stylist. Making an appointment was convenient. Two hours before her appointment, Rosanna called and canceled on me because she did not realize she had to go to a soccer game with her daughter.

The appropriate way to have handled this would have been to have pushed one of her regular customers off and moved my girlfriends appointment up. Instead, she just canceled me. Regular customers will always be forgiving, new customers will not.

This ruined my girlfriends whole day, as she has been wanting to get her hair cut for weeks. We canceled our plans for Friday to get this appointment, and it was all for nothing. I will not be rescheduling with her, because this type of business behavior shows a lack of planning and a disregard for customers that is not acceptable.

Perhaps my girlfriend and I will have better luck elsewhere.

Hmmmm...what can I say about Rosanna? Well, I've been getting my hair cut and styled by Rosanna for a few years now. Every time she gives me a perfect cut! After my previous hair stylist flaked, I was forced to find another. I was cautious because I had been told that it is can be difficult to cut my curly hair into the syle I wanted (and had expereinced bad haircuts before). I simply told Rosanna how I wanted my hair and she started cutting away...soon I left a completely satisfied customer with an awesome haircut! Rosanna is able to listen to your ideas, asks questions to obtain a clear picture of what you want, and turn your ideas into a full fledged hairstyle! She provides ideas about the best type of products to use, hairstyles, and colors for your paticular head of hair! She is a friendly, fun individual to be around, but is also professional and knowledgable! I recommend her to anyone that is seeking a phenomonal hairstylist!

Rosanna is an amazing colorist!! I've been going to her for 4 years now..I currently live in Los Angeles and fly back and forth to have her do my hair...Her attention to detail and her talent for knowing what colors to use is unmatched...When I first started going to her my hair was medium length and jet black and I wanted to go to an auburn color...She was able to lift the color out and give me exactly what I was looking for without damaging my hair...My hair is even longer now.. It's a beautiful red color with copper highlights..I get compliments wherever I go..She's the best!!!

I've been going to Rosanna for a few years now and I love her! She always introduces me to new ideas without pressuring me into doing anything I don't want to do. She knows what will work for my hair and what won't (cut, color, style, product, anything!). She recently cut my hair into a bob and I contantly get compliments on it. I'm so glad she had me do it! Also, she recently moved to Moxy Hair in downtown Sacramento and I LOVE the place. The decor is very cool and the place is very spacious. You should definitely check it out if you're looking for a change or are new to the area.

I scheduled an appointment with Rosanna while visiting Sacramento, mainly to fix a not-so-great haircut, and I had an awesome experience. She listened to what I wanted, analyzed my hair type and face shape and made some recommendations for the cut. She was extremely attentive, and she seemed to take my personal style into account as well. When she was done, I had an incredibly precise and flattering haircut - the next hairstylist I used (in my hometown) even commented on how great a cut I had, and this was after it had grown out! I highly recommend Rosanna, and I'm going to book with her at her new salon next time I'm in town.

My hair is difficult to cut and style and I have been thoroughly pleased with Rosanna?s results EVERY TIME. I am a long-time client and followed her from her former salon in another part of town because I was not willing to risk possibly erratic and unsatisfactory results with a different stylist. She is very accommodating to my wishes yet, when I have tried something new at her suggestion, I have been pleased with the results. She keeps up to date with new styling products and techniques and has great ideas. She is a very enjoyable person and a true professional, and I cannot recommend her services highly enough!
