This place gives huge potions of really tasy food. Love to stop in there for lunch. The prices are really low. Super friendly service.

I love this Turkish place - so fresh, cheap, fast, healthy, and delicious. I had the best Kofte sandwich here. Picture a clean restaurant with plenty of seats, an open kitchen, meat on two spits (chicken and lamb/beef doner), several TVs, free refills for fountain drinks, hot sauce on all the tables, and pictures of all their sandwiches, salads and kebab plates. They even have desserts. Order at the register and find a seat.

The meat is halal. They have kofte, adana, lamb cop, beef cop, falafel, hummus, French fries, baklava, saffron ice cream, red lentil soup - yum, yum and more yum. The plates are only $7.50 and include kebabs, rice, salad and bread. What a bargain.

I had the chicken doner sandwich ($5.75). It was my first time having chicken doner on a soft roll. The chicken was tender and delicious. The picture showed lettuce and tomatoes in the sandwich but the actual sandwich only had the chicken and onions between the roll. It didn't have yogurt sauce which was fine. I added hot sauce. I still prefer lavash (less messy, not as doughy). I liked the lettuce and radish salad which was freshly tossed and crispy in a homemade sour dressing. I love how you can add all the hot sauce you want and then drink all you want too.

It's in the shopping center across from the Union City BART station with Safeway and Dollar Tree (it's closer to Dollar Tree).

This is a great place to go if you want to try authentic middle eastern cuisine. The place is small and look a bit like a dive but the food is very tasty and the prices very reasonable.
