Ive been to many, many different sushi places, in different states and different countries (including japan) and i have to say that this is the BEST!! The fish is ALWAYS fresh and prepared with such care! Every roll comes out looking just like the photos in the menu.

I went by this place two weeks ago and it is closed, closed, closed. Looked like it was being torn down. A big disappointment after reading the reviews here and spending an hour driving around looking for it.

We have searched for a great sushi place on the eastside and now have found it at Sushiya. Nicely appointed atmosphere, we were seated quickly by a very friendly staff. Sushi was outstanding, the freshest we've had in a long time.

We go out for sushi at least once a week, and now that we moved to the eastside it has been more challenging to find a great place without crossing the bridge. Thank the sushi gods for Sushiya! Dont be put off by the ex- Jack in the Box
