great restaurant 4 Star Rating - Very good

this is a good solid place for lunch or dinner. They have a great outdoor patio, and strong drinks..had a nice leisurely meal here...highly reccomended!

Horrible service 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I visited last night with two friends; we had reservations for 6:30. On entering the hotel, we had to walk past the conference room area to enter the restaurant - the hallway was set up to host a private party in one of the conference rooms. No one stationed at the reservation desk, but a waitress came a seated us fairly quickly. The restaurant was nearly empty - I could see only three other parties. Our drink orders were taken, but then we waited 15 minutes for our glasses of wine to be brought to us. The fourth table setting was never cleared away. The young waitress appeared to be working alone (though we saw several other staff attending the private party), with another young person tending the bar and assisting with service. Even so, the waitress was absent from the floor for extended periods of time. We waited another 30 minutes for our appetizers, and I had to ask for the bread to be brought to the table. And our entrees were brought to us less than 10 minutes after our appetizers appeared - we hadn't even finished them yet.

All in all, a horrid experience - clearly the hotel was more interested in the private party and had left their restaurant understaffed with junior employees. My friends and I will not return.

Pros: The food was OK
Cons: Understaffed, inattentive service
