I work at a computer all day and many times all evening too. About two years ago, my neck and shoulders were so stiff, I could not turn my head. I had a serious case of what is called "tech neck." Then I started seeing Janice for a regular deep tissue massage. Janice is able to work deeply to loosen the muscles and release the tension. It has made such a difference for me and I am now able to move head, neck, shoulders and arms freely.

Janice was great! I'm a dentist and carry lots of stress and tension in my neck and shoulders. I've recently been having neck spasms. Janice did an awesome job getting into my tense areas and working the muscles out. I felt very relaxed after my treatment. She was very professional and the experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I work on the computer all day, and as a result, I often hold a lot of tension in my neck, shoulders, and back. A good massage is the best form of relief for me. It needs to be deep, and the practitioner needs to have a good anatomical awareness of how all the muscles are connected. I've tried a dozen massage therapists over the years, and it was hard to find someone who was REALLY good. I finally found one: Janice! She has that magic touch: she can coax a muscle into letting go, and then she works out the tension in all the surrounding muscles so it doesn't tighten back up again.

I'm a big guy and I like a deep massage; sometimes my back muscles are so tight they feel like steel cables. Janice is very strong and has no problems going deep when I need it. But she's good at calibrating pressure, has a very gentle touch, and is a good communicator, so it's never too much.
