I have horrible, thin, gray hair. Su performed a true miracle, giving me a sexie, contemporary cut that has me getting unsolicited compliments on the BART, work and at the grocery store.

She's great to talk to. The salon is in a convenient location for shopping and dinner and they have late hours for us working gals.

I recently visited SFO from my small town in Iowa. I had overtreated hair, washed out color, and was horribly in need of a good stylist. I found her!! Vicky did wonders with my color, and suggested shampoo/conditioner that has brought my hair back to life!! Wish I lived in town, as I found someone who is magic with color and a cut...be prepared to spend more, but worth every penny! Thanks Vicki.

First of all, Thank God and Google I have found Vicky. I read these reviews and I made an appointment to see with my own eyes what all the fuss is about. Well.........I am still in shock!!! I have never had these incredible golden blonde highlights and haircut in my entire life. She transformed my hair from damaged and dry to healthy and amazing!! I did not think it would be possible.
I get complements from all my friends and from strangers on the street!! Vicky is a true artist. Just call her and you will see what we all mean. Enjoy and feel gorgeous!!

I walked in an over processed blond. My hair was brittle, my ends were dry. Vicky looked at my hair and said, "you will be beautiful as a brunette. " Funny, I was thinking of doing that. We talked extensively about my desire for a rich, flattering brown that was not mousy or ashy. I trusted her and walked out of the salon with the most gorgeous, healthy looking chestnut and highlight I had ever seen. For someone who was a blonde for many years. it's pretty amazing to have a no-regret experience. I would absolutely see her again. you will not regret it.

I am so sad, I am moving away from San Francisco. I have been seeing Vicky for the past 5 years. She is the first one that is able to work with my thick, and wavy hair. She taught me to embrace my thick hair, rather than fighting with it. I also love the subtle caramel highlights she adds in my hair. I finally feel I love my hair. Now I just hope I can find someone as good as she is in Boston.

Vicky, one of the owner of wicked salon is truly a magician with color and cut. I have been transformed from blonde to brown, and back again to my natural blonde. My hair has been in the best condition, and never looked better. I always feel so well taken care of. Every time I leave the salon, I feel 10 years younger, and beautiful. Thank you

I recently went to wicked salon and was instantly impressed. The minute i walked in i felt comfortable and at home. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My appointment with Michael. He recently just moved here from Washington D.C. I felt confident in him from the very minute we met. He is so sweet!!! He spent time with me before the service to really talk about what i wanted and what i didn't want. He seemed very knowledgeable about the business and about hair. I would refer any of my friends to him and would suggest him to all of you!!!

The proprietors, Su and Vicki are both dedicated to their profession and genuine artists. In an understated way way, they listen and then create a work of art with your appearance. The key however is their ability to use restraint, ie take you to the edge, but not over, for a great new look that you are immediately comfortable with.

You will become a regular customer after your first visit. Try them out, you can go wrong.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new hair cut and color. I was referred to Sue,co owner of Wicked Salon, by my friend, who promised me that I will not be disappointed with the result. Boy, was my friend correct!!! I left Wicked looking 10 years younger.

I was hesitant about getting my hair colored because I have seen many of my friends who have gotten theirs done, and the color never looks natural. In addition, my hair has been permed many times, so it's brittle and dry. I am so glad that I didn't give into my hesitation. Sue_picked the perfect color that suits my age and my skin tone. She also cut and brushed out my perms, which gave me a softer look. I was ELATED when I left the salon. My first hair dye job turned out to be a perfect 10!!! I cannot be happier!!!

Sue_is professional, friendly, and most important of all, she knows hair!!! I highly recommend Sue_to anyone who is seeking to have their hair transformed.

I just recently got some highlights for my hair & it was what I had pictured! Sueis a great hairstylist & a great person! I've researching for salons for a while & this one was worth going to. Really clean & modern atmosphere! Everyone was helpful & nice. I'll definitely come back as well as recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great salon!

Maybe my standards are just really high, but I moved here from New York and tried this salon and I was none too pleased. They had Nikas Nikas for a while, who has a good reputation as a colorist in SF, but my color with him was only pretty good (needed some more dimension and shades), it too like 4 hours and tons of processing at the sink and dryer, and he was not the most stable character. The girls at the salon were hot and cold - friendly one day, rude the next time. The atmosphere is only ok. Kind of trendy, but plain. They don't seem that driven to be great or to improve. Moreover, after my appointment, I noticed that my usually fine, silky hair seemed coarser and totally dried out. I later found out that apparently this place was substituting one of the high end products for base adjustments (maybe $15 a bottle) for cheap China town stuff ($3 a bottle) and putting the cheap China town stuff in the brand name bottle, so the colorists didn't even know. I'll pay the extra $12 myself, thanks. If they are serious about being the best (and it doesn't seem like they are), they're going to have to step it up a lot. I since have found Hugh McGuire at Ron Pernell Studio and he is truly phenomenal. If you want the very best hair SF can offer, go to him.

I have been following Vanessa for the past 10 years from Architects and Heroes, Red Chair, and now at Wicked. Vanessa truly is an artist with hair color. I have been blonde, red, brown. You could say I am bit of a camilion with hair color. She is always honest about which shade of color suits me the best. My hair always look silky and luminous. Vanessa, you have a client for life. She is simply the best.

I have many friends that are already going to see Vicky, one of the owner at Wicked salon, she came highly recommended to me. I have been going to the same stylist for the past 5 years, and my hair style is becoming increasingly outdated looking. I had to book an appointment 2 weeks out, since she was so busy. But let me tell you, it was so worth the wait. I have been coloring my naturally dark hair blonde, looking for the impossible perfect blonde color, but it would always turn brassy. Vicky took one look at my hair, and told me the truth, that I would be much better as a rich brunette. I was a little skeptical in the beginning, but she was very patient with me. She explained to me how the brown color would bring out my green eye color, and complement my skin tone. After 2 hrs of transformation, I love my new hair color, even my critical mother loved it. And who says blonde have more fun.

I just moved away from San Francisco and I didn't want to go without giving props to my hair stylist of over a year - Vicki. The best color and cut I've ever had and an amazing atmosphere. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon! If you have short hair - the best cut you'll ever get!

We all know, the older we get, the darker our blond hair get. Now that I am in my 30's, and living in SF, the land of fog, my hair is dull and dark. I have tried so many salons, looking for that natural, sun kissed blond.
Finally, I found Vicky at Wicked salon. The owner of the salon is so chic, I instantly felt at ease in her chair. My hair has never looked better, better than when I was 16. I looked sunny and bright, no trace of brassy. Ladies, make your appointment now.

I notice that most reviews for wicked are from women so as a male I wanted to give Su at WICKED a highly deserved compliment. By the way I NEVER do these review things. That said, I was in San Fran over the Thanksgiving holiday week which my birthday also happened to fall into that time frame as well.
My friends at home urged me to get my hair cut at a salon while I was there. I did some research via the
internet and Wicked stood out as the top contender. I called and scheduled my appointment with Su but
am sure I would have been just as happy with Vicki. I scheduled for color and a cut. When I arrived I had
a brief consulation with Su and asked her what she would do if given complete artisitic control. She explained and I felt comfortable with her vision so I told her to go with it. Of course she inquired about my likes and dislikes of my current cut from the stylist I have been visiting for 10+ yrs (felt a bit like I was cheating). Oh well. She started with the color. She chose a shade darker which was really great and very vibrant (nice chocolate brown). She then continued with the cut which more attention, detail and precision was given as if she were fine tuning some antique instrument. I have to say it was truly amazing. She did things to my hair I have never seen done. The outcome was a masterpiece which did take 2 1/2 hours. So be sure to plan your time accordingly. Everyone did comment on how great my hair looked even weeks after when it began to grow out. Go ahead make an appointment at WICKED you will not regret it.

Really needed a change of style and a friend recommended Vicky at Wicked Salon. I really wasn't sure what i wanted to do with my hair and just wanted a new look. I do feel guilty for leaving my stylist of 8yrs., but I needed a change.
Vicky is very chic and once I saw her I knew she could point me into the right direction.
So I went with a short graduated bob.
One word, WOW! My boyfriend was like WOW! Co-workers WOW! The looks from starngers WOW!

I just had my haircut by Priscilla at Wicked, and she was wonderful. She took the time to talk with me about my look, and gave great, honest, but kind suggestions. She was so right, I walked out loving my new hairstyle! I really appreciated all the time she spent with me and her attention to detail.
Everyone in the salon was friendly, I was offered cupcakes and a beverage. Best of all, they were able to get me in the same day, since I was in town only for the weekend. I highly recommend Wicked Salon!

I saw Priscilla for the first time at Wicked. I have always been indecisive during haircuts. Priscilla put me right at ease, offered me wonderful advices about my hair. My hair went from limp and shapeless to bouncy and beautiful. I walked out of the salon full of confidence. Thanks Priscilla.

I made an appointment with Vicky the co-owner of Wicked. I've read great reviews about the salon and Vicky. The reviews were right on. I can be very wishy washy about how I like my hair to look. Fortunately, Vicky provided me the right direction and I am so happy with my beautiful blonde hair.
The salon is a sophisticated space. I love the clean aesthetics of the place and the great location in Union Sq.

Also, take advantage of Vicky's fashion sense. Once, you meet Vicky you will understand. I would highly recommend utilizing her fashion knowledge while its free.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! Service with a smile is their motto here and I love it! They are keen into what is hip in the world of contemporary hair styles. The Salon is in the chic neighborhood of Union Square with ample views on both levels of Grant Street just below! Talk about a great atmosphere with a minimalists point of view- clutter free with a warm inviting appeal. The Salon staff are great. They offer up all types of refreshments from the cookie plate to belgium chocolates. This is a great salon and I love the shampoo and blowdry! Definately a great place to get your hair done and I highly recommend it!

I am completely amazed at my new look. I went in thinking I just wanted a trim, but Vicky convinced me to go with a graduated bob. My husband was simply amazed at how great I look. I can't believe this transformation, time to go shopping with my new look!
I am so glad I found this place. The space is gorgeous and the music is such a relief from all the other salons playing that thumping techno.

I just left Wicked Salon and my hair is gorgeous. It is so sleek and has so much body I keep flipping it around just to feel how silky and smooth it is. I feel sassy and hot and I love it.
Su (who has been doing my hair since Architects & Heroes) did an incredible job.
I walked in today a bit bedraggled and she did what she always does: made me look chic, fabulous, and stylish. She is so good and I trust her so much that I would folIow her anywhere.
I have so much trust in her that I can give her a basic hair request (like say... something short, something fun) and she will look at me, look at my hair, and come up with something that is different, easy, fun, elegant, whatever I want.
The salon itself is great - it's downtown, has great natural sunlight, is close to parking garages (so key for a cut and coloring appointment), and has a great staff.

I was walking in Union Sq. and noticed the Wicked Salon logo on the door. I just wanted to take a peek inside. Omg, what a cute place! Vicky, coowner, greeted me and showed me around. I figured I would take a chance given the decor and music at Wicked was so inviting. Decided to get my hair styled with Vicky and I can't believe my hair could look so modern. Booked for a color, since I am showing a little grey I do feel a little guilty, now that I am going to not see my old hairstylist which I've had for 8yrs. But, it is always a good feeling when you can find someone to give you a new look. Yes, I am going to paint the town with my new sassy look. Thank you Vicky!!!!

I've been going to Su for years now, and when I found out she was opening a new Salon, I was so EXCITED for her. The salon is very modern and minimalistic chic. A very clean and calming atmosphere to just relax as you groove to the hip beats of the background music. Su has great vision when it comes to hair, she adds her own stylish flair and always ends the haircut with a very stylish blowdry...lots of volume!! I often have no idea what style to change my hair to, but I just give her some simple input and she takes it from there. She also does amazing color too, mixing it up all the time with all the new and latest IN colors...She always keeps me looking hot and fashionable! Su has never failed me or my hair, she's FABULOUS!!

I am a visitor in the city, walking around union square, I happen to stumble onto this adorable salon. I had an event to attend to that evening, needed a simple blowout. The staff is so attentive, the blowdry is beautiful, and they gave me some bangs to go with my old haircut, I looked 10 years younger. Only if I lived in San Francisco.

Most of my friends have been seeing Su Ko for a long time, I finally decided to give her a try. I have in a hair cut rut, my hair is long and limp, boring and boring. Su decided to give a sassy and shaggy bob, after she was done, my hair had body and movement. Why did I hold on to my long hair? Why hasn't anyone recommended that haircut before? I have been stopped on the street twice, people want to know where I get my hair done. What a wonderful thing for my ego.

I have been going to the owner Vicky for years now, She never fails to update my look, gave me the most natural highlights and cut. Her new salon looks amazing, light and airy, so intimate. I was offered a Kerastase treatment for the first time, my hair feels fabulous. I couldn't stop touching my silky hair, I think I just developed a new addiction. Ask for the treatment!!!!!!!!!!!

I found a new salon downtown, Union Sqare..its called Wicked. It?s located across from Banana, you got to look out for the stairs, cause its up them. I was very impressed with the customer service from the moment i walked in and was greeted by the Owners. They made me feel very comfortable and pampered. I also got a tour of the salon. I can?t wait for my next visit.
