Band of Brothers does good in the Inner Richmond
by E B.
Just about everything about this place is fantastic. The food is interesting and fresh--don't call it Asian fusion, that smacks of yuppie snobbery--and I have actually seen the owners bring in the produce from their pickup truck on the weekend. Of course, said produce came straight from the Farmer's Market. The wait staff are attentive and remember the regulars. The chefs will make anything the way you'd like it to be, and you can pronounce all of the ingredients. I had a bowl of noodles and veggies that was delicious, piping hot, comfort food gone upscale. Truly a gem!

my cousin, who has just graduate from a culinary school, brought us to this place. it has asian fusion food. we went for an early dinner, but she said during they weekend they are open late nights and even have a dj spinning in the corner. one thing i didn't like was that they have a dinner dinner menu than the late night menu. we were looking to try the loco moco there, but it's only on the late night menu.

Namu in Richmond
by J K.
Stumbled on this very modern restaurant that has Korean and Japanese food. We loved sampling the small plates.Loved the homemade pickle tray (first one is free). Generally more pricey than the "authentic" mom and pop places, but I have no doubt that the food and flavors are authentic at Namu, too. Trendy spot for meeting friends at the bar, too.
