I agree with Carolina I went with my Portuguese friends and I felt like we are Nobles on how they treat us but after 3 weeks after I went with asian friends, they ignore us to the max and the drinks we got have human hair in it and the food are terrible.. you can distinguished its frozen produce....

Yes this is probably one of the cheaper Brazillian options in the city, but it is not worth spending the money. The food was not good quality, particularly the meats which were very fatty. The service was also pretty slow and we were sent to the basement which had a dungeon feel. If you want Brazillian BBQ, you might as well go all out.

After reading the reviews we should have never eaten here. The food was glorified hospital food. The fish and vegtables were the frozen type and dry. The mozerella and tomato salad were so dry and laced with heavy garlicky sauce. The music was the worst I ever heard. The basement was an eyesore with people eating down there. I would never go back there. I wil never go to a restaurant again with a host dragging people in off the street. What a waste of $90 for nothing. Could have eaten at an elegant place for these prices.

If you are a regular or speak portuguese you have decent service with decent food. Which happened to me when I went with some Brazilian friends to eat there. The next time I went with my fiance, neither one of us speaking portuguese. We were ignored for the most part. And when we did have someone at the table we were treated very rudely. The menu stated thta tps would be included in larger parties. We were two and were charged 18%. The food was so-so. But the service was horrendous. Extremely dissapointed.

Brazil Grill has gotten a number of bad reviews, but I have never had an unpleasant experience there. It's a nice restaurant for a romantic evening out or for entertaining guests. Although some of the fare is Americanized, I have found all their food to be outstanding (the stroganoff is my favorite). The list of specialty drinks is extensive, and the drinks are strong -- you'll get your money's worth. Try a Caipirinha (the national drink of Brazil). If you are looking to have a quiet, romantic dinner, avoid nights when there is live music -- and if you plan on going during a peak hour, make a reservation.

Pros: Romantic, great food and specialty drinks, convenient location.

Cons: Avoid live music nights, because they are very loud.

The food was ok, the ambiance and all even though this restaurant is not so spacious. But the staff was soooo rude. They pretty much forgot about my party of 6 who sat us all the way in the back. We were ready to order and they ignored us. When asked for certain dishes, the waiter got annyoed and would dismiss us. Its really a shame since i love Brazilian food.

The place is a nice romantic place with great food. Great for parties and very accomodating.
The portions are decent.
Live Music on weekends can be a little loud so it's difficult to have a conversation.
It is weird though that they don't have a manager during the day, he comes for dinner only.
Don't hesitate to ask your waiter for suggestions, they're very helpfull.

sumbled upon this restaurant and expected much more than we experienced....food was very bland and non traditional of a brazilian restaurant....shrimp was vrey dry and had no flavor....skirt steak was very fatty...desert was terrible..serice was not too bad...happy hour didn't apply if u were at a table... only for people at the bar...definitely would not go back...

After a conversation with the ownwe I didnt have a chance yet to come back to this restaurant after some reviews about it. I can say that the food is really good, but about the service I had problems in the past that I went there and I spoke to the ownwer... Soon I will be there to check if anything changed!!

Having been spoiled by Churrascaria down the block, I expected much more from this Rodizio style Brazilian steakhouse only to be disappointed big time. The selection of meats is very limited and the cold bar is full of yucky items. A few of their signature sides include white rice and french fries. The service was rude and pushy as well and it was not appreciated when he gave himself a tip for the end of a bad meal. Sure its cheaper, but it really helped me understand the extreme differences between an upscale place and a severely downscaled one. The decor is so-so, extremely dark in the basement where the Rodizio is served and away from the live band upstairs. Not recommended unless desperate for food.

My family came for lunch prior to a theatre matinee. It was not busy, but you would not have known it by the service. Service was aloof, except for one waiter who seemed to understand his profession.
The food was OK, but not as enjoyable as most Brazilian places. The beef was not a prime cut and actually rather chewy. I really was looking forward to the sausage, but it did not taste flavorful at all. The bacon wrapped turkey was very good.
I do not understand the $15 tip that was automatically added to a party of five. It was not a percentage, just a straight $15. Strange.
There are too many options within a block or two that are much better choices. I will not go back.

Pros: Bacon wrapped turkey. Theatre district.

Cons: Random tip added without notice. Service. Beef. Sausage

I love brazilian food & I tried to go to every brazilian restaurants in the city. This one is the worst that I've been to. The service was slow & the waiter was rude.
There were about 5 to 6 waiters standing chit chatting they were very inattentive. Even though I wasn't done with my food they waiter was anxious to take away my plate!!
The food was average nothing special about it. Waste of Money!!!!!!
Don't FORGET to check your bill B4 putting down any tips! The TIP it's already included 20%!

IT DID!!!!!! It was one of the last restaurants we tried in our 6 day trip to the Big Apple. I would have cut my trip short a day to not have had this experience.

Informed our server at the begining we were time conscious.

He began by not bringing me the correct salad. I let this slide since we were in a hurry. The entree was not quite what the menu said in terms of preparation. The dessert was substandard in taste/presentation.

These were the least of our problems. The check came with incorrect amounts, and gratuity was already added as well. I had to force the server to amend the bill and my credit card charge.

My card was charged twice. I called the restaurant, no manager is available. I have been waiting four days for a return call to resolve just this issue.

Think twice.

Went with a friend on a Thursday night. We didn't have reservations, but were told we'd be seated in 5 minutes. Five minutes became fifteen and we were finally seated. We ordered the prixe fix. The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. Our server did not check on us, ask if we needed anything, refill our water or get our dessert order right. We tried to wave him down several times, to no avail. We even had to flag him down for our check. We won't be back - we can get reasonably priced brazillian food somewhere else.

I came here preshow on a Tues. night. I ordered the Beef Amazonas (grilled steak with a red wine, beer, butter and garlic sauce.) It was cooked medium to perfection and the sauce excellent. The garlic was fried to a great texture and the sauce went with the fries and rice amazingly well. We ordered fried yuca (not the best, but good). My friend ordered the Chicken BossaNova which was a form of fried chicken with spices. This was good too, but I enjoy foods with a sauce more. The rice and the black bean sauce on the side was good as well. The bread they served at the beginning was mediocre. The service was excellent. My only complaint would be that they had only one bathroom with one stall. On a busier night, I would've had to wait a lot longer. All in all, I had a great experience.

I've been to this establishment about four times and I've had the best time. This restaurant does not deserve the bad wrap that is has received. I've recommended the Brazil Grill to my friends and they have all loved it and taken their friends there.

the restaurant is always busy, but they always find you a spot to seat, doesnt matter how many people in the party, and if they dont have a table right away you can always seat in the bar and have a brazilian drink.
