An absolute delight! 5 Star Rating - World class

What an amazing experience! This tiny little gem is definitely a find. We went for Brunch they have unlimited Mimosas & Bloody Marys (the best Bloody Mary Ive ever had). Simple yet delicious! The food is incredible everyone in our group loved every bit of it there was nothing left on anyones plate! The staff was attentive & incredibly nice. I run a Bed & Breakfast in the city & Im always looking for places to send my guests. This place will certainly be on that list of recommendations! Im looking forward to returning to try dinner & most definitely another Brunch! Thanks for a great dining experience!

Pros: Great Food & Staff!

Gourment's Hidden Delight 4 Star Rating - Very good

To our surprise and delight we came upon Regate a charming bistro hidden on the east side of Orchard Street just below Houston. What a delicious and beautifully presented dinner we were served. For our Appetizers we shared the Calamars Grillees and Salade De Chevre Chaud--both were exceptional. The calamari was tender and well balanced with the accompanying finely diced cucumber salad; likewise the goat cheese was crispy on the outside and balanced for the palate with a diced beet & string been salad. Our main courses were Salade De La Flotte that actually contained colossal shrimp and Truite Grille that melted in your mouth. Dessert was a thrilling warm Chocolate Cake (with an aside of vanilla ice cream) containing a center of melting chocolate that made you think you went to heaven. The atmosphere is comfortable and small. A little bit of color would enhance the interior. AC was not working well the evening we were there, but it didn't take away from our positive experience. We definitely plan to return and tell our friends. Bon Appetit

Pros: Outstanding Food, Good Value, Not Rushed
Cons: Interior is a bit dull

Will return many times! 5 Star Rating - World class

Three of us celebrated Mother's Day with brunch at Regate. It's a tiny storefront with excellent food and attentive service, but in plain surroundings. The kind of food and service we received were above par despite a noisy party nearby (the place is small). The three of us ordered the same brunch and they came with perfectly poached eggs. We had a side of perfectly prepared bacon, and the potatoes and salad on our plates were just right. We shared two deserts the molten chocolate cake (served with a scoop of ice cream) and creme brulee. Both were great, and very French. The mimosa or bloody Mary one can order with brunch is unlimited! We didn't get a check until we asked for it and considering the quality of the food and service, our time there was a bargain. The restaurant is run by Europeans in a caring manner, and with pride. We know we will be back - this place is a find.

Pros: Excellent food, attentive service
Cons: Small, storefront restaurant

Unbelievable! 5 Star Rating - World class

This is my first time writing a review. After eating dinner there last night I thought I had to spread the word! This place is incredible. The food was delicious; I got the curry mussels and beef carpaccio. The wine was affordable, tasty, and a big portion. The service is friendly, and the decor is adorable. Only problem is that we were the only ones there! Granted it was a Monday night...but still, I think more peole need to check this place out!
