10/22/09 My friends and I took a trip from CT to NYC to get fitted at Linda?s. I heard about her store through a friend here in CT. We scheduled appointments for 10:30 a.m. Linette helped me. She was very professional and knowledgeable. I had realized (as everyone says) I had been wearing the wrong bra size! Linette was very helpful in finding me bras that would actually fit me and feel good. I ended up getting 3 bras, very different but all doing ?their job?. I have never felt better! I don?t have to ?adjust? EVER! The ?Girls? stay where they are meant to be and look great with clothes! What a difference it made! I have an odd size too, I have a small frame and larger bust so Linette had her work cut out for her and she did great. It was such a wonderful experience! It is nice they keep a file of what you buy so you can order more easily and have them shipped, although I?d enjoy taking another trip to NYC for this! Thank Linette!

With a very small rib cage and above-avg chest, I had been mis-sized for YEARS by victoria's secret, saks, pretty much all the major dept stores. this mis-sizing led me to buy useless bras that never fit perfectly and wasting thousands of $$$$$$. then linda helps me and everything is perfect! No lumps shown, no re-adjusting necessary...truly amazing! AND she doesn't try to push u to anything except what you're comfortable with or what you want in a bra!

I needed new bras and thought I would give Linda's a try. I worked with Terese today and honestly had one of my best shopping experiences! Terese was not only very knowledgeable (yup, I've been wearing the wrong bra size) but upbeat and fun. The attention you receive from all the staff is complete- The quality of my new bras is excellent. Thanks for all you help: you've made a new customer.

I was curious about the whole bra-fitting experience, and I was not disappointed. It's true -- most women are not wearing the right size. Turns out I'm not a 42D, I'm a 38DD. What a difference that makes in my bras and my comfort and feeling feminine. The staff were unbelievably helpful. I went with a friend who had a size re-adjustment as well and is really happy. Thank you! I will be back.

Linette measured me and I finally know my perfect bra size! The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly and the selection is amazing. Every woman (and bring your daughter, too, when it's time) should visit Linda's.

This is the place for a person like me - a girl with a large chest who can't find a bra to save her life. Linda's had a handful of different styles and colors to choose from in my size, after measuring me. The staff was great with assisting with all of my needs and questions.

I will keep coming back to Linda's whenever I need new lingerie!

The service at this bra salon was more of an inconvenience for me than anything else. First, the store owner told me that I was going to receive my in-store shipment in 2-3 weeks from the purchase date and that I would receive a phone call when it had arrived. When the 5th week had approached and I still did not receive a phone call I went to the store in person. I was told that the owner had just picked up a shipment from the warehouse and that my purchase was in the box, which was parked around the block. When the cashier asked the owner if she could retrieve the bra she said "No I'm busy right now". I remained calm and another worker offered to ship the bra to me for free, so I complied and wrote my address down and I was told I would receive the bra in 2-3 business days. After another week had passed and I had not received the bra I called the store to find out what had happened to my bra and I was told that I never came to pick up my bra and that the bra was never supposed to be shipped to my house. Finally, after a whole host of other problems the bra was shipped to me about 7 weeks after the purchase date and of course the problems did not end there the bra was 2 sizes too big. In addition, the another bra that I had ordered from this store had still not arrived and I found out from the warehouse that the bra was discontinued. I wouldn't recommend this store to my worst enemy.

I found Linda's online while searching the web. I followed the instructions of how to measure to find your fit. I ordered one bra and one pair of knickers. I found that when I got the bra it was one cup size too big and so I returned it for an exchange. I really like the bra and realize how much my existing ones were lacking. I also loved the knickers. For some reason the first package did take longer than expected to arrive but the exchange item arrived quickly. The only gripe I would have is that in order to exchange I had to pay for shipping. It would be better if a return label could be printed from the website. I do plan on getting more bras etc. now I know my size. It does do wonders for the soul to have a bra that looks good and feels good. I recommend Lindas to anyone looking for some great undergarments.

The Backstory:
I am 27 years old with a petite body and a well endowed chest. I always felt that I was in a constant state of "size identify crisis" brought on by bra fitters at Macy's, Victoria's Secret, and various other department stores. How can you be a 36D, 34DD, 32DDD all at once?
The Catalyst:
With the onslaught of fashion shows, bra fitting expose's that proclaim 80% of women are wearing the wrong size, and a particular bad day that included my bra straps slipping off my shoulders at a rate of once every 5 minutes, I decided to take action. I went online, looked up bra fitting, and stumbled upon Linda's Bra Salon in a NY Times article. I contacted Linda's Bra Salon online and made an appointment for me and two girlfriends.
The Experience:
Linda's staff was prompt and friendly in their response to my appointment email. After setting up an appointment, they provided detailed directions and subway options, which helped since we were coming from out of town. Bad weather and traffic caused us to be over an hour late; however, when we reached the store, Linda and her staff quickly accommodated us without a fuss! Linda fitted me personally (how often does the owner of a store tend to its customers), and told me to my utter amazement that my band size was a 30! I did not even know that size existed! She came in with many bras and after going through a couple letters of the alphabet, she dubbed me a 30G with a super sleek Chantelle bra. Ladies, nothing makes you feel more confident and proud of your body, than a bra that fits. My girlfriends were fitted by Linda as well, and found out that they too were wearing the wrong size!
The Conlusion:
It was an uplifting experience for the three of us! Do yourself a favor and go. The fitting is free and fun. Buying bras is the expensive part, but they are investment you have to make for your body. Linda said "You are the lucky ones, there are women who are 65 that have never had a bra that fit."

I don't enjoy shopping much and I especially hate trying things on. So the thought of buying new undergarments was daunting. I've gone to so many stores and no one every knows how to fit me. In the long run I spend more money than I need to because I'm constantly buying things that are the wrong size. But not at Linda's. Linda is the best at what she does. She makes you feel comfortable and at home. I went in with an undergarment that was the wrong size. I came out of there with my head held high and feeling much better. It's so true that wearing the right undergarments makes you feel better and having Linda help is the best way to get there. The selection is incredible and there's something for everyone.

Linda's had a huge selection of bras and underwear. The store itself is really small but the experience was great. I was able to get better fitting bras and some education on how to wear them, the different types of bras, how to store them, wash them, everything you can think of. I look better because the right size makes my overall shape slimmer and more like an hourglass. i don't have that feeling of carrying a heavy load on my front (I'm a 36DD). I'd recommend it for girls who have a hard time picking out the right bra, as was my case.

I love this store! A few weeks ago, I purchased a bra through the website and unfortunately it was the wrong size. Not only did I have a hassle free return experience with Linda's, but her team got me into the best fitting bra I've ever had - without ever stepping foot in her store. They asked me for details on my size and obviously heard me when I told them what I was looking for. They responded quickly and explained to me why they were recommending the product they were recommending. Life is too short to spend time trying to get someone to help you and lingerie is too expensive to waste money on things that don't fit...I'm not shopping for bras anywhere but here from now on.

So after much hesitation from straying away from my usual lingerie store (yup it's that one all girls seem to go to) I finally gave this little shop a go and I am so happy I did. Linda is a doll. She loves bras and proves it by the expertise she shares with her customers. I was fitted into a fabulous bra. Linda's offers a wide selection not found at those "one style fits all" places. My shopping experience was personal and that means a lot. I plan to only shop Linda's from here on out!

I got my fitting by an expert bra fitter a week ago and I had no idea what I'd been missing. I didn't have an appointment but I was able to work with someone. I had been wearing the wrong size (I learned) for years! I've never liked spending money on bras because they've never fit right, but I didn't even sweat it b/c after what I went through with them I couldn't say no. They took me in, measured me, brought me what I wanted after talking to me. They got it right on the FIRST time. I wish they sold jeans, seriously. They we kind and friendly, we able to answer all my questions and I felt totally comfortable. I've been wearing my bras and they are wonderful. My shoulders no longer hurt and I don't have anymore pain where my underwire is. I'm glad I found Lindas and I would definitly recommend them for everyone, you think you know, but you have no idea until you've tried them!

Love it, love it, love it! Visiting NYC was a great experience, but nothing compares to my experience at Linda's. Being a small girl with bigger breasts, finding bras at home was always a waste of time. Linda's was exactly the opposite. A girl half my age kindly led me into a fitting room and showed me exactly what was wrong with my, ahem, 2 year old bra. She brought one in for size and it was literally like weights lifted off my shoulders. My tummy could breathe again! I didn't stop at that one. I purchased tons of everyday bras, sports bras, a BIKINI SWIMSUIT (impossible to find for a 32G) and they even had a bra ALTERED for me, just so I could have the perfect fit. The staff is well-trained, extremely honest and don't try and sell you stuff you don't need. When I called to order more, they placed a special order for me and even shipped to me for free! Making my cha-chas look this great is addicting.

I visited Linda's Bra Salon last weekend after finding it on citysearch. I had the best experience. I got fitted by Linda herself and finally have 3 bras that fit great. I have always had a hard time finding bras since I am well endowed but now I know where to go. Linda's Bra Salon had great customer service and super advice. Thanks Linda. I will be back for more.

Even though I went in during a busy time, my appointment was kept and Linda herself gave me individualized attention. I walked out with 5 amazing bras, and have told all my friends to make an appointment ASAP!
I learned that I can be a different size in different styles of bras. Luckily, Linda's keeps what bras you buy on file so you can come back and get your correct size, or order it in different colors.
I have never been able to find a strapless bra that fits me properly, until today. Linda found me a strapless bra that fits perfectly and even gives a little lift!
I have finally found bras that fit comfortably and look great! I'll be shopping here from now on!

Pros: you will walk out with a great fitting bra, Linda is so nice!

Cons: the store can get busy, make sure to get an appointment!

Yesterday I went to Linda's Bra Salon on 63rd street, I was sitting at my desk at work, and Iw as very upset because I wanted to wear a strapless shirt to a party I was suppose to go to, but my breast never allowed me to wear a strapless anything ever. I always shopped at Victoria Secrets and they always told me my breast were a 34 DD but the bras never fit and I always had to cut the straps and tie them to make them fit me and my breast still spilled out, so I found Lindas Bra Salon through a google search, I called and made an appointment for a Bra Fitting and I went the same day (which was yesterday), it was a really cute small store, when I got in they told me to change my shirt and the sales associate measured me, she told me I was actually a size 32 I, I was in shock because all my life Id been wearing these bras that didn't fit me and did hurt my body, so she got me a regular bra and a strapless bra, the regular bra fit me perfectly and for the first time something actually worked for my breast, unfortunatly the strapless BRA I needed a 32J which they did not have, but the 32 I looked really good, so I bought the strapless bra. I went shopping and bought 4 strapless dresses and they alll fit smooth and my breast didnt even look huge, it looked really good. The Sales Associate was really nice at Linda's (i dont know her name because she didn't tell me) but she was a slender girl with a caramel complextion, she was very helpful and she didnt make me feel like my breast were a tragic, I really liked the store and I will be back very soon, I just hope they have strapless in a size J one day but the I was also perfect, I recommend this store to everyone, It really changed things for me because I would literally get depressed in the past because I had a smaller frame with these annoying breast and I couldnt get a breast reduction, but now I dont even feel like I want one because I know Linda's has the bras that are meant for me, loved it :-)

I had never been to a good bra fitting so I decided to stop by. Linda took me as a walk-in and despite having other scheduled appointments made time to see me. She showed me a wide range of styles and was extremely courteous and friendly. I ended up buying 3 bras for about $200 but I didn't at all feel pressured into buying them--they just looked and felt fabulous and I know I got my money's worth! She explained what each style was meant to do and really listened to what I was looking for. The boutique is small but very cheerful looking and clean. I look forward to visiting frequently!

I have been shopping at Linda's since it opened and have not shopped elsewhere for bras since. Quality customer service is really important to me and Linda has one of the nicest, most knowledgable staffs I have ever dealt with while shopping. I also love her cute store, she really jam packs her space with what feels like endless selections of bras. So fun!

After many friends recommended Lindas I finally went this past weekend to get fitted. The staff was so wonderful. They measured me and then helped me find great bras that best fit my size and shape. I walked away with three new bras and tossed out omy old bras. It's amazing what a proper fitting can do for your appearance. I highly suggest going to Linda's for bras.

Not recommended. The salesperson who helped me was stand-offish and upset when I brought back a bra that did not fit well. During my first visit she kept bringing me bras from a line that I knew would not fit me. She did not seem very interested in hearing what I was looking for. The dressing rooms are also VERY hot, the thermostat in the one I was in said 80 degrees and I visited the shop on a cool day in February. The selection was ok, but the service was very poor.

I read about Linda's in TONY. I never really thought I had any problems with bras, but was curious nonetheless. Linda was very friendly and professional. It turns out I had been wearing the wrong size my whole life! In under 15 minutes, I walked out of the store with two new bras that fit me so much better and that were so much more comfortable. I look better and feel better! I highly recommend getting a bra fitting and I highly recommend Linda's! Note: Be sure to make an appointment. Linda was a bit brusque until I told her I had an appointment. Then she was all smiles!

I've been traveling to NY for about 3 yrs now for medical reasons and have been wanting to find someone that could fit me properly for a bra. I decided that since I was in NY every week I would find a place that I thought would be descreet and also offer a wide selection of bras. I stumbled upon Linda's while googling bra fitter's. I couldn't have been more happier to find a gem like this.

I was welcomed with open arms personally by Linda. What a pip! She wasted no time in getting me into a fitting room and supplying me with numerous styles of bras. She knew right away that I was wearing the wrong size and immediately had me in a proper fitting one. I couldn't believe that my girls could look so good! Now I actually have a waist again and my girls are back up where they should be!

Thank you Linda. I'm bringing my friend into see you this coming week!

I just found out I have been wearing the wrong bra size for years! I was recommended to Linda's Bra Store by a friend who is an expert shopper. One of Linda's staff worked with me and helped me buy three fabulous bras: a Chantelle Strapless Bra, a plunge bra (for a new dress that I just got from Expose) and a really nice Le Mystere T-Shirt Bra. I'm a 34DD, so at times, I've really struggled with my bras (but I thought I was a 32D!). The girls were patient, and they helped me try on about 20 bras until we found these three that fit just right. Shopping for bras can be hell, but this was really a joy. All the other customers seemed to be having an equally religious bra shopping experience. I really recommend Linda's Bra Store. Without a doubt, this is the best bra fitting I have ever had, so I just had to write about it!

I went to Linda's last night. I bought three bras and love all of them. The shop is cute and the staff is sweet. They are really good at bra fitting. I'd say this is probably my favorite bra store in New York.

And I know this is dumb but I also really like the pink shopping bags they give you. I am a fool for a good overall package!

Very tiny place. Two-minute, basic fitting. Quality bras but bad return policy for in-store purchases. Same bras can be purchased at major department stores with better return policies at probably lower prices.

I hate when i go to certain lingerie shops only to feel like a big oaf unable to fit into any of the cute little bras. So when i walked into Linda's I assumed the same thing would occur: I'd find a bra I'd love and learn the largest size was a DD and I am a very proud FF! But amazingly Linda's bra salon carried beautiful plus size bras! I got a bra fitting by a really sweet girl who helped me pick out two full figure bras that I wear all the time now. There was a girl in the dressing room next to me who had AA cups and she was also really excited about the bra they helped her pick out cause they "gave her some cleavage" (that' a direct quote this girl squealed) So Linda's is great for any sized girl.

Linda's is the best place to buy bras in New York. I went into this bra store for a bra fitting and was so pleased. I walked out with 3 ever so fancy chantelle bras and 2 le mystere bras. As a dd I was so happy to find such an amazing selection of lingerie in nyc for my size. Thanks Linda!

I hated all my bras so I decided to get a bra fitting (finally!) After some research i found Linda's bra salon and made an appointment with Linda. She was so sweet and gentle and helped me find the best bras for my body! I walked out of her bra shop with 5 bras! I look slimmer and more lifted. It sounds silly but getting a bra that really fits dramatically improved my look. I highly recommend getting some bra help from Linda.

This was the best experience I had ever bra shopping. In one visit I
learned how the "Bra Lady" got her name. Personal interest shown and
the in depth knowledge of her merchandise was refreshing. I was most
impressed however, by the variety of attractive colors and styles in my
size. I definitely recommend this shop to any woman that cares about
the appearance of her breast.

Being kind of petite, I didn't think there was much I needed to learn about my precious friends but even I was wearing the wrong size! The "bra divas" actually MEASURED me, instead of just asking what size I think I wear. The fitting session was a mini-lesson, things I wish my mother would've told me years ago. I'm ashamed to say I didn't even know I had to adjust myself in it. I've never had such an easy time shopping and the knowledgable staff made it so much easier. Definitely recommend this place for women who think finding bras is impossible.

I didn't plan on buying 6 bras on that cold winter morning. But I was going to Paris and wanted a new bra. So I braved the 20 degree temp and headed to Lindas. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt safe. The store is very inviting and I was taken right away. I took off my coat, and Linda told me what size bra I was wearing and what size I should be wearing. All with my shirt ON! She brought in all styles and price ranges. I tried on bras I didn't even think I would. Then she left me to make decisions and to continue shopping. I loved every one she brought me and the fit was amazing. I bought them ALL!
I learned how to take care of my new "friends" and how to pack them properly in my suit case so they would be in nice shape in Paris. There really is nothing better than a good fitting bra!
I will definately go back and have told all my friends!

I have no idea why it took me so long to find out my correct bra size, but this is the place to go if you are at all unsure. I tried the big chain stores and although their measurements were correct, the limited selection and (lack of) service at those stores turned me off. You won't find bargain prices here, but for really knowledgable ladies who won't make you feel uncomfortable or pressured to buy the most expensive item, this is a great find.

I never knew what size I was before I went to Linda's. The staff is super helpful and they actually know what they're talking about. They don't just have tape measures for show, they actually know how to use them. Plus they're quick. The girl who fitted me was so good I was in and out with 3 good bras and it literally took only 15 min. I know because my boyfriend was outside waiting for me :)

I've been to Linda's a few times and every time was a great & very helpful & informative experience! I never knew there was such a precise science to bra-fitting, but these salesgirls are very knowlegeable and really helped me out with every little detail. Aside from the great customer service, the lingerie ranges from basic classics to full-on sex-kitten numbers, so there's pretty much something for everyone & for the level of quality offered, the prices are not completely ridiculous, which is always a plus..

Linda's takes service to a new level! Their "bra experts" are amazing! I learned so much from their tips, and I had always thought I had an average, easy-to-fit figure and pretty much knew it all. Their selection is really great and much higher quality than a certain "secret" company.
