It has now been nearly seven months that Isaac??s Moving and Storage emptied the contents of my storage crate, delivering most of my belongings intact.

That said, I value not most of my belongings, but all of them; otherwise, I would not have paid to store them or have them moved by Isaac??s. The areas of storage and delivery are the first two of three important areas where Isaac??s has been a shocking failure.

It was in August 2009 that I had paid them to deliver to my new apartment a dining room table that had been in Isaac??s Philadelphia storage facility since August, 2007. The day of the move, I was starting to arrange my dining furniture when I realized that the movers had delivered the legs of my dining room table, without the table top. When the movers verified that they were not able to locate the legs of the dining room table, they placed calls into the Philadelphia and Brighton offices, so that other Isaac??s employees could investigate the matter. Although I spoke with an Isaac??s representative that afternoon, and was assured that I would receive a prompt return phone call, no one from Isaac??s ever made an attempt to contact me over the next four months, as my telephone and email records confirm.

As if it were not shocking enough that it took Isaac??s four months to respond to my initial claim, and even then only after I contacted Isaac??s again, what has happened ever since is equally troubling .
When I was informed of the requirements for finalizing my claim submission on December 24th, 2009, via an email from Ms. Paula Moyal, I procured all the necessary paperwork and submitted everything within two weeks. Although I had an assurance from Isaac??s that my claim would be handled ??without delay? once I submitted it, I have now been waiting more than eight additional weeks for my reimbursement to be processed. As it that were still not enough, even though they have acknowledged full responsibility for this matter, they have offered to reimburse only half of the value of the dining room table, even though I have provided them with every last bit of documentation that they have demanded. At this point, I am left to wonder if this is standard customer service from their company, and have requested that the Director of Customer Service at Isaac??s conduct an investigation into the handling of my claim. They have indicated interest in doing nothing of the kind, even when they are confronted with detailed evidence of the gross negligence of their Customer Service department.

To their credit, the work ethic and friendliness of movers themselves has been outstanding, if not fully competent. If you decide to hire them, just pray you never, ever have to contact their Customer Service department for any reason at all.

We were very, very pleased with everything that Isaac's Relocation Service did for us. They were on time, they worked very hard, carefully and quickly, and best of all, I thought there pricing was very good. I would highly recommend them.
