Before I came across these reviews I never thought that I would get a Brazilian wax because of the pain as well as the articles I've read about the injuries some women have suffered by getting them done. But after reading the wonderful things that people had to say about their experiences in Jenny's care, I changed my mind. She made every effort to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible during my visit and completely relieved me of my nervousness about getting waxed for the first time. She's absolutely wonderful.

P.S. I usually don't write reviews for anything, if that's any indication about how great Jenny Midgette is.

I have had brazillian waxes performed by a dozen of people in North- and South- Carolina. Jenny is simply the best. I am going to try to figure our a way to clone her if I ever need to relocate.
She is absolutley FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

After reading the wonderful reviews about Jenny's Brazilian Waxes I decided to give it a try. i had been going to a large day spa in the area for several years and decided I was no longer satisfied with their services. So I decided to give Spa Boudoir a try and boy am I glad I did!!! Jenny was friendly, professional and make me feel comfortable the entire visit. She politely greeted me and talked to me briefly about my service. Hands down, this is the best brazilian wax I have ever experienced. My skin is soft and not irritated and the hair is gone in between too. Jenny uses special waxes including a different wax for sensitive areas. I am definitely a customer now.

I actually signed up on Citysearch for the sole purpose of writing this review?that's how amazing Jenny at Spa Boudoir is. I moved back to NC after three years in New York, and after having gone to several "top" spas in other cities, I can say without a doubt that Jenny is the kindest, most knowledgeable, most professional esthetician I've ever been to. Very, very few people can make a Brazilian wax completely painless, and Jenny is one of them. Unlike other spas in the area, she takes the time to do a thorough job instead of rushing clients through an assembly line. She is an excellent listener and takes great pains to address any and all skin concerns her clients might have. Her facials are absolutely wonderful, as is the soothing ambience of her office. (And she also provides wine, tea, etc. for clients...always nice!) I cannot recommend her highly enough.

The owner/operator of Spa Boudoir has got it down. She's experienced, professional, and has a great personality too! I felt comfortable from the second I walked into the building (which was a little hard to find, but she actually called me, to help me with directions!). I've been "shopping" around for someone who can do a decent Brazilian wax for awhile and she is the best I've been to. Plus, her online appointment system makes scheduling simple and efficient. I highly recommend her...I can't wait to go for a facial!

Pros: Right downtown...schedule an appointment late in the afternoon and go for drinks afterwards!

Wow! Jenny at Sap Boudoir is WONDERFUL! She makes the experience of a brazilian waxing the most "enjoyable" it can be - she is gentle, knows what she's doing, friendly, professional. I would definitely recommend this Spa to anyone!!!!

I have been going to Spa Boudoir and seeing Jenny for a little over 2 years and she is the absolute best at her trade. From the moment you walk in her door you are greated with warmth and genuine concern for your skincare desires. Every facial Jenny does is customized to your skin and current concerns. I have had many facials and everytime I leave, my skin looks absolutely fantastic. She continually educates her patients on ways to keep your skin looking great! She carries an amazing skin care line that does wonders for my acne prone skin, but she would never try to over sell them or make you feel pressured to make a purchase.

On my last visit to Spa Bourdoir, I was suffering from an awful cold and preparing to be in one of my best friends weddings. Jenny made me cup of cup immediately and helped me relax. My skin absolutely glowed after the facial and I am looking forward to seeing her again soon to make me look and feel fantastic!!!

First, I am not one to fill out reviews. But I have to tell you that I went to Spa Boudoir (Jenny) becuase of the reviews on here and I just couldn't help but come back and say EVERYONE was soooo right! Jenny is phenomenal at what she does. I had only had one other Brazilian before but the experiences were night and day. You definitely get what you pay for, she doesn't cut any corners, she gets you involved, she makes you feel comfortable, and does the fine detailing at the end which makes you walk away feeling like it was money well spent! She is probaly one of the sweetest people I have met and I would recommend her to anyone!

If you are looking for a really personal salon where you know you will be taken care of, look no further. Jenny Midgette (owner/operator) is fantastic! Prices are competitive, the room is clean and she is extremely professional. I got an eyebrow wax and a full brazilian and both were impeccable. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a more personal wax experience than you can find a your corner nail salon or your larger "luxury" spas.

I've been searching for the ultimate waxing place and today I found it. I went based on reviews, and decided to add my endorsement for others to follow. Jenny is incredibly professional and an expert in waxing. In addition a pleasure to chat with, so you get great results and a fun time. Her technique, the products she uses, and the lovely atmosphere added up to the best waxing experience I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and try her once. You'll be happy you did.

I had a phenomenal new experience today when I opted for a Lash Tint while I was getting my monthly facial. Now I can shower and swim and still have the look of bold dark lashes even when I don't wear mascara. Like most of her products it was natural and vegetable based which comforts me. Spa Boudoir is an incredible hidden treasure! I found this boutique spa about a year ago tucked away in an office complex on Glenwood South. Jenny is such a genuine person and has a passion for her work that comes in every service. Thank you Jenny! I melt like butter under your hands every time!

Jenny at Spa Boudoir is the best aesthetician I have ever worked with. She provides exceptional customer service and is very professional. I was a regular customer at the premiere waxing salon in Chicago and it doesn't hold a candle to the service at Spa Boudoir. I can attest that Jenny's service is absolutely the best. Not only is she professional, thorough and effective, she is also extremely gentle, making my waxing experience as pleasant as possible. And that's saying a lot, for a bare Brazilian! She uses a variety of waxes for different areas of the body and really knows what she is doing. She also suggested I try a new kind of waxing technique for my face and I'm glad I did! Not only was it painless, I am thrilled with the results. I experienced NO numbness or irritation on my face at all. I will never use another aesthetician again! And on top of it, the prices are very reasonable. If you have been scared of the idea of waxing, definitely give Jenny a try. I highly recommend Spa Boudoir.

If you are looking for someone in Raleigh who you can trust to properly do a brazilian, Jenny is the one. For those of you who don't wax regularly, this means that even if you're not getting a brazilian done, she knows what she is doing. She made me feel comfortable and was professional. Also, her prices are reasonable and you can book online. I highly recommend her!

I have been to other spas and even worked at a spa and I can say that Jenny at spa boudoir really has the right idea! She gives the best customer service, does a great job on each and every service and really cares about her clients and the products she uses on them. It really is personalized skin treatments in an intimate setting!

I have been to several different places for waxing, but now I will never go anywhere else...Jenny at Spa Boudoir is the best! She is thorough, gentle (as is possible), and friendly. I scheduled the appointment here, taking the advice of all the previous happy customers and I am so glad I did - highly recommended! If you are looking for a new place for waxing, look no further.

This could very well be the best waxing experience I've ever had. I was recommended by a friend to the Spa Boudoir. It was a small private owned skin care office that is very cute. My therapist was also the owner. She really knew what she was doing. Getting a brazilian is no easy task so when you find someone as good as her, well I'll never go anywhere else! Thank you for a great experience. You've got me hooked!

Spa Boudoir is a very small spa but the treatment is exceptional. Jenny is fantastic. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel immediately comfortable. The location is a little hard to find - it is located in the back of a shared office building on glenwood south. But the incredible service is unbeatable and the prices are extremely reasonable. I will definitely return to spa boudoir.

Fantastic experience! I've tried several local and national spas for facials and various services and Spa Boudoir is by far the best. The owner was extremely knowledgable and helpful as far as skincare and treatments go. The atmosphere was relaxing and the experience was well worth it. I would have to say that Spa Boudoir is the best in the city.

Having visited a few other spas in the Triangle, I've been most pleased with the services I received at Spa Boudoir. Jenny has taken the time to understand my skin care regimen and has provided services and advice on products that have really improved my skin's condition. She is professional, gives great facials, and frequently seems to take a bit of extra time to ensure that I am happy with the results of a service and to touch base on anything else I might need; I've never felt like she is rushed or distracted during our appointments (something I have experienced at larger spas). Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Spa Boudoir because it's shown me that there are distinct advantages to a smaller spa setting.

I really can't say enough about how much I've enjoyed each of my 3 visits to Spa Boudoir. I love the setting - especially that It isn't one of those big operations. You're definatly getting personilized attention and recomendations for your skin care regimine. I love the owners personality and passion for what she does, which instantly put me at ease. I've tried 3 different facials on the menu and was very happy with each - I'm getting ready to make an appt. to try another!!

Going to Spa Boudoir always leaves me feeling so relaxed. She offers so many great facials to suit your skin type and has the best skincare around. The setting is so comfortable--not as clinical as some spas feel--and it is also worth mentioning that Jenny is so personable.

Spa Boudoir offers a great selection of facials and facial products. It's location is very convenient and right in the heart of Glenwood South. Jenny, my esthetician is the best ever. She tailors each facial to what is going on with my skin. I will never go any where else as long as Spa Boudoir is around.

Now they've added online booking - I just booked two appointments yesterday. It's more convenient for me to make appointments this way. I highly recommend Jenny to everyone (friends, family, etc.).
