Theres not much to say; Mickey's $23 cuts (I'm a guy) beat all of the $40+ sorry excuses for haircuts I've gotten at all of the 'high-end' stylists in Charlotte.

I went here from a friend and I just loved it. My highlights were so so good. The prices were great and the service was outstanding. Mickey is a very personable and highly talented, wished I would of met her sooner.

Mickey is truely a unique and wonderful individual who combines experience, knowledge, and a flair for HOT to make you look your best! I went from "Playboy Bunny Blonde" to "Megan Fox HOT" in one sitting... I have never received so many compliments and my boyfriend can NOT keep his hands off me....

Janice does the best brows in town!!! "You've had the rest now try the best" should be her motto!

Mickey understands color and uses only the best products for your hair. She works with you to create the most flattering color and style for you. She is always pleasant and upbeat and a visit to her Salon is the highlight (and she does highlights very well!) of my day.

I have to be the biggest idiot for thinking all these perfect reviews were real. I did want to give this place a chance to redeem themselves but noone called me back to fix my haircolor situation that was caused by the owner. It isn't the worst experience I ever had but I never spent that much on my services before either. My advice to anyone is to get a consultation anywhere you go and follow your instinct.If the salon reads this, I do say sorry but you should have called me back!

I have been going to Mickey for 13 years and I wanted to let everyone know she is dynamite. Straight with me everytime if I can't or can do a color and NEVER CUTS TOO MUCH OFF. I lived with a top hairstylist for years and have seen a lot of stylists in my day, and Mickey is one of the PROS! I constantly get compliments on my hair and have turned friends and strangers on to her amazing way with hair. The staff is always friendly and professional and Mickey is one of the most upbeat people I know. Her salon is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. It's modern yet comfortable and she is up on the latest on skin care also. Do yourself a favor, book yourself a day of beauty here. She's affordable and approachable! Keep up the good work Mickey and staff!

Mickey is a color and styling genius. My hair is in the best condition it has been since I was in my 20's. The microderm abrasion and skinceutical products erased 10 years off my face. No need for botox. A must go to place!! I Love it!!

My wife sent me in to this Spa and I got a Haircut. I ended up having Ear coning and a Facial. This staff is Hip and very educated on Holistic healing. My ears can hear and my Facial was very professional, with my Haircut that is very sharp. Thanks you hip crew.

I am VERY picky when it comes to someone -anyone -touching my hair. Reason being, that it takes years for it to grow like 6 inches, so if I get a bad haircut, I am stuck with it for a long time. So I moved to Charlotte in May 2008 and left my stylist in AZ, who is the absolute BEST of the BEST. I did tons of research, and when I say tons, I mean I was trying to find the BEST salon or stylist in Charlotte and was willing to pay anything to get someone as good or close to the one I had back in Phoenix. Well it seemed MC3 got over 50+ reviews and most ALL were 5 stars. After looking some more, I figured there had to be a good reason why almost everyone on here left 5 stars so I trusted everyone's opinion and made an appointment to go in. I hate, I hate, I HATE to trash on others, but it's been months since this experience and for some reason, I am still bothered by it enough for it to cross my mind every other week or so.

First, I got my brows done. The girl was very nice, and was spending longer than normal time on my brows and I figured that maybe she was a perfectionist and wanted to make sure it was perfect. I can definitely appreciate that. BUT when I looked at my eyebrows after she was done, I was disturbed hugely because there were SO MANY stray hairs and it just seemed very sloppy. Like I said, I HATE to trash, so I didn't tell her anything. I said I was happy and then I moved on to the pedicure. My husband was with me and he was going to get his first ever pedicure too. Mostly because of the massage. Before making the appointment, I asked if their spa pedicures included a massage on the legs and feet and they said yes. So after sitting in weak massage chairs, they merely "applied" lotion to our legs and then did a quick polish on the nails. I was SO confused. It seemed like they just didn't care. Then to top it all off, Mickey cut my hair. I showed her photos of the bangs I had wanted and different photos to get an idea of the overall cut. I told her after reading so many great reviews, I was excited to see her hair art. Once she was through I was absolutely horrified to say the least. I am not the type of person to state my displeasure on the spot because I don't like to make people feel bad. But I just HATED it. Simply hated it. The hair was SO short on top that I literally looked like a biker chick or something. And for my face shape the mullet just doesn't even come close to working for me. I couldn't believe what I was looking at and neither did my husband. After paying all of the money for the services, and tipping well I got in my car. My husband gave my hair the stare down like "what in teh world happened to your hair" and I broke down and cried for the first time in my life over hair. It was quite simply the worst haircut I have ever gotten.

I wish I could say otherwise but I can't and to be honest I am SO wary to try another salon. Apparently even if a salon has excellent reviews, it doesn't mean anything to me anymore. Sorry MC3 people. I wish I could say the experience was wonderful but it wasn't and I just hope that you would read this and maybe change the way you guys do some things : )

I found MC3 desperately looking for color correction and style correction from a disaster experience. That was three months ago. Hair looked like dark paint baked on burnt hair from the color treatment, style fit Meg Ryan but I'm not Meg Ryan. Not only corrected, better color than I have ever experienced. Mickey not only listens, she has the experience to understand and execute, quickly, simply, and style a damaged head of hair and make it look natural, viable style, and easy to maintain. Subsequent visits execeed expxectations. Costs are reasonable. She manages her timing well, has a passion for her work and is just overall a complete package of talent, passion, and discipline. Thank you, Mickey.

My friend referred me to MC3 and I am so happy she did. When I went, I told Mickey she was the expert let me know what you suggest and and let her do it. The cut is the best I have ever had. Looks great easy to style. The color is so natural looking. I will not go anywhere else. She was so much fun and made the experience wonderful.

I wanted to write this to all who read about MC3 Salon and Mickey I was referred to her from a colleague. She graciously donated her salon on a Monday once a month to help families that were unemployed at no charge to them. When our company all read the article in charlotte observer I was blown away by her generosity. THIS IS a single mom raising triplet's! I read all the reviews and the one bad one MUST NOT BE true to what many of my friends have experienced. SHE IS A GIFTED and one of the best colorist evident of her Attending Vidal Sasson's Masters. I made an appointment to see the owner, Mickey, after finding the salon listed on spafinder. I was looking to have my hair highlighted and return to my normal blond color after having darker color during winter. I was very nervous throughout the experience and should have left after my quick consultation. I repeatedly asked Mickey to confirm the plans for blond highlights, yet I somehow ended up a few shades lighter and $145 poorer. The color is uneven and friends and family have commented that it looks orange, brassy, red etc. How I went from blond to red is beyond me. This certainly isn't what I asked for and it looks terrible. Mickey said the color is golden, HAHA. I have never had a color application this bad and chose not to return for a fix. I wouldn't trust Mickey to touch my hair, so I'm out the $145 and will be out even more to have it corrected!

This salon is well worth the visit. The staff is very personable, hospitable, and very professional; and the salon itself is definitely a must see. If you live in the area, or on the outskirts of town, you can't go wrong here. Personally, thus far, Jill Schoenleber has been my hair stylist, as she selectively gave me a new look/style, that she had an eye for, and by all of her experience that she has has gained throughout her career, she knows colors and styles well. She has cut and colored my hair with high lights, low lights, so far, as well as gave me the hand and forearm waxing, where my hands and forearms came out all silky and smooth. How wonderful the after affects from all three were. We all deserve a break today, every now and then, and personally, I couldn't recommend a better place to get the treatment, all the way around. And if you want to feel good, and be filled with comfort, laughter, and satisfaction, inside and out, then step into MC3. You'll be glad you did.

I found this salon on line and had just went to a previous salon with highlights that were terrible. I READ EVERY REVIEW ON THIS SALON. Mickey is supberb and I will tell all of my friends to go to her. I not only was in and out in an hour and, I have a 15 month old so I have no time she was reasonable and gave me a discount since I had just got it done. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING AND THE FIX.

What is it with the stylist in Charlotte giving Orange and stripes for Highlights. I moved here from CA. Was referred to a salon $300.00 later and hair that looks like Annie for Highlights. I go back and they charge me again to fix their mess. FOR ANY BUSY MOTHER WHO IS ON A TIME line plus works FULL TIME, AND BUDGET THIS GIRL IS BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE HAD AND EXPERIENCED IN MY TIME. MICKEY I HOPE YOU KNOW YOU ARE A REAL GEM. MY COLOR IS BEAUTIFUL AND I LOVED YOU HAD ME IN and out in an hour. This was the first time it was not only perfect and I felt like a movie star. I honestly cannot tell you how many salons I have tried in the past 12 mos, once I finally gave up on my "brand name" salon in Ballantyne, due to rising prices and declining customer service, back in the fall of last year. I was about to give up my search completely, and settle for whatever hair color service I got at the next place I visited, when I found MC3 online and read Brian's profile. I scheduled an appt with him for last Fri (12/12) and was DELIGHTED with the results. Brian is the first colorist to actually listen to me. I have told umpteen stylists that I don't want ash in my hair and I don't want red either... only to walk out of the salon, $150+ poor-er, with one or both of those hues in my hair!!! Brian successfully avoided both colors and gave me awesome natural highlights just like I had in mind!!! While a lot of stylists claim to be "masters" at their art, he truly IS a master and he has won my repeat business!

Anyone looking for a great haircut and a spot on color with highlights that look natural go to Mickey. We were recommended to Mickey from friends and since we were new to Charlotte finding a hairstylist was very scary for my teenage daughters. I loved her salon and spa services were great. I LOVED MICKEY'S color and she was great with my teenage daughters and HER PRICES ARE very in line for all of us mother's who are on a budget with all needing color. I was sent to Mickey by friends who said let her do her magic. MY HAIR LOOKS GREAT AND IS SO SHINY I had to write something about her. She told me my hair would feel better after putting some type of color on my hair and just shaping a new style. WOW is all I can say to my hair. Coming from Florida I was nervous about getting my Blonde Highlights touched up. Having 2 other salons make my highlights look frosty and old, I almost went back dark. Mickey was referred to me by a woman in the grocery store who thought she had hung the moon. I went in and was surprised not only were my highlights real looking my hair felt great and I loved her personality. She is fun and energetic. Her staff is courtesy and very clean inside the salon. I have sent 3 friends which I normally don't do and they have been thrilled. Mickey I love my highlights and you are a gem. Lydia M.

First can I say my hair color and haircut is so wonderful that I am beside myself.

I found Mickey on citysearch and being Asian my hair is very hard to cut and straight .
as a stick. My haircuts are always boring and usually uneven. Since my hair was a boring dark color I had
no idea I could have a brown like this or a haircut like Mickey gave me. This is a gorgeous Spa and everyone is so friendly.
