great neighborhood shop

by Jessica C.

Thank you Carma! I have come by Carma once before and they put a brake light in for free. I was caught in the rain this week and my wipers would not work at all. I stopped by Carma and the guys helped me out right away. It ended up being some electrical problem. In under 2 hours I was back on my way. I like supporting businesses in my neighborhood. I felt comfortable with the people there and will be back I'm sure.
Thank you again guys, Jessica (1997 BMW 528 \ black)

Best dealer alternative I have found

by John B.

I have an 05 745il. I have been taking my car, since new to my BMW dealer where I bought it. I am out of the warranty for the car. A co-worker of mine takes an older Mercedes to Carma and said that he has seen new model BMWs there. After speaking on the phone to the shop manager I felt comfortable enough to give them a try. Needless to say, the work was done with not problems and I saved a bundle. I really enjoyed the easy going atmosphere of the shop. The guys there are truly enthused about what they do and it shows. I would recommend them to anyone who need "dealer" help and can't find a quality independent shop. They had a special laptop just to do the computer diagnostics on my BMW and said that they have most of the same special tools that the dealers have.
I will be back for front brakes soon they said. I am looking forward to saving $200 and not having to wait 3 days to get my car back. Thanks guys, John

Fast Friendly Service

by eric h.

I know this title sounds like a bloated car commercial, but for the small privately owned Carma Motorsports it rings true. There is no other place I will ever take my BMW. Both employees I interacted with were nice and calm, I didn't feel like I was getting the dealer scare or a the backyard jitters from smaller mechanics. Carma's fit is just right and the prices aren't bad either.

Great Customer Service and Quality Work

by Patrick T.

Carma Motorsports is one of those great little diamonds in the rough in the small business world. It has a friendly staff and the owner's level of personal integrity is second to none. I drove my 2000 Ford Focus from Charlotte, NC when it needed some major work done (transmission, breaks, shocks, tires, oil change, 125k mile service etc.) because I trust the staff to tell me what I need and what I don't. Great independent shops that consistently work at a high level of service are few and far between. All of my referrals to Carma have said that they were completely satisfied.

Excellent Service

by Jason A.

I took my 1979 Mercedes Benz 300SD to Carma Motorsports. My car was running hot and they determined that I had a bad radiator.
This doesn't seem like a problem, however, parts are limited for this vehicle and there are not any new radiators available. Carma removed the radiator, took it to a local radiator shop, had it rebuilt, picked it up and installed it in my car in a timely manner at a reasonable price.

I would recommend Carma to all of my friends.

impressed.

by David C.

I started as a customer of Carma Motorsports around 4 years ago. I've been to many other shops in my life, but never found the personal connection like I did at Carma Motorsports. Every other shop would charge me for everything, whether I needed it or not. Not Carma. Alexander, the shop owner, was in constant contact with me while my car sat crippled in his shop. If it was just a little switch or a fuse or anything small like that, he didnt charge me. He was extremely honest, and I never felt like he was trying to inflate his work order.
Ever since my first visit to Carma Motorsports, I have never gone to another garage. No matter what the problem is when I drive in, I feel like I have my own personal mechanic at Carma. Although they specialize in German autos, I've never been turned away when I pull my american car up.
Thank you Carma. Thank you for being one of the only honest and reliable shops I've found. Youve got a customer for life with me.

Mercedes C230 finally fixed thank you Camra

by Sasha P.

I have a Mercedes c230 and could not bear the prices at the dealer. The problem was if the car was not driven everyday the battery would die. I took it to the service station near by. They put a battery in it and sure enough it dies a week later. I took it to a German repair shop, they put an alternator in it and had it for over a week. Two weeks later the battery was dead again. My co-worker takes his tricked out 328 to Carma and said to try them. The car was their for only 2 hours before they called and said it needed a seat computer? Sounded a little unbelievable, but I would believe anything at this point. So far it has been over 4 months and no problems. Left the car for Thanksgiving and it started right back up when I got back.
Thank Carma

Best shop in Atlanta for your BMW

by John W.

I have been going to Carma Motorsports for over 4 and a half years. I was shocked when I saw such a negative review on these guys. Last time I was in I mentioned it to the owner. You should have seen the look on his face. I said he had just finished WINNING his case against the unhappy customers credit card and even showed me the paper work from American Express. He said he did not even charge the guy to look at the alarm and the guy did not even want to fix anything. He brought up the customers old ticket. It was the only time he had come in and most the stuff Carma looked at they did not charge him for.
In my experience with the guys at Carma Motorsports, they have always been honest and fair like their name suggests. I met them when my 3rd BMW went out of warranty. They have saved me a lot of money and were able to fixed a few electric problems that the dealer could not when the car was under warranty.
Give them a try, they are nice guys that really know their stuff. I've had Bimmers for over 20 years and I feel safe bringing all 3 I have now to Carma

Avoid Cheap Customer

by Alexander C.

I own Carma Motorsports. I have won a case against an unhappy customer with Amex. I told him his car needed a transmission switch, he did not want to buy it. Went to another shop and they put a transmission switch in and the car was fixed. I did not charge anything for the alarm because he did not want to pay for any repairs.

A shop that Cares

by ACCinATL

My radiator blew up on my BMW and I limped the poor car over to them Friday in the afternoon. They did not have a radiator there and said it was too late in the day for deliveries. So, the owner drove up to the parts place to get radiator and he had one of his mechanics take it apart. They even stayed open another 30 minutes just to finish my car.
Thank you guys! I will be back, I hope just no too soon

Pros: worked hard to get me my car for the weekend

Buyers remorse

by AtlBimmer

I own Carma Motorsports. I won a case with American Express against a very unhappy customer. We all deal with people like this from time to time. Some people you just can't please. I has a customer come to my shop with a list of problems including a transmission that was going bad. He asked us to flush the fluid in hopes of buying a little time. We only charged him for an oil change and the transmission service. I personally called him and told him his car needed a transmission switch and he refused the work, along with over $3000 of other repairs. He left and was unhappy his car was not brand new. Now instead of making some money so he can fix his poor car, he choose to spend his time trashing my shop. Soon he will find someone else to trash. Till then, feel free to come by and talk to us your self. I am happy to show the documentation from Amex and his original repair order to you to show my honesty. Really, I named my shop Carma Motorsports for a reason. Ask anyone else thats come to us, we are honest as the day is long. Oh, I also have the repair order from the shop he went to after he left my shop with the "BROKEN TRANSMISSION" guess what, they replaced that switch that I called him to ask if he wanted replaced. It fixed the transmission.

Pros: Honest, with fair prices. Come see for yourself
