Sexxy, Intimate, Swank Lounge 5 Star Rating - World class

Cru Urban Lounge reminds me of the lounge scene in NYC. A real lounge. Not a club and not a restaurant made club on certain nights of the week. The vibe has been consistent each time I've gone. I'd do a date here, cocktails with the girls or even alone to listen to the DJ and have a quick drink and unwind. My cousin hosted her boyfriend's 40th b-day event here a couple of months ago and it was the perfect size and layout for that type of gathering. Nice addition to the midtown area, but pay attention because you can drive right by it and miss out on a real chill experience.

Pros: Intimate, DJ, Service

Dat new grown and sexeee... 5 Star Rating - World class

This past Thursday, I had a little sumthin sumthin at CRU. First off, complimentary valet (wut's really hood, can't beat it)... Second, the staff was mad cool and attentive. A real layed back and chill spot. Has a certain... hmmm... intimate feel, but it's open and lofty (nice)... bar downstairs, lounge upstairs. The drinks were great. I really can't say anything bad about this place. I wish the website had more info about the menu on it, but they're new so I'm sure that's to come. The mystery of it is kinda hot too. It's not a huge place, it's kinda small, which I can dig... sometimes you want that "cater to you" feel, which this place gives. Not to mention the decor is romantic, but not like "boo-ed up"... more so like "just kickin it", so it's good for dates and just getting a little dranky dranky with the crew before you crank-it-up. Shout to the Thursday DJs (that's right two) Christain and Rico... It's dope... ya'll go check it!

Pros: An actual lounge
Cons: Limited menu

best drink specials by far...trust me, i did my homework 5 Star Rating - World class

ok, so it's this swanky bar that can somehow still pull off grunge music when the DJ spins that...the kind of place i would take a date, bunch of my best girl friends, or even the rents if they were in town. also, a cool urban crowd, not the cheesy east andrews kind...perhaps, understated yuppies? also...great drinks, apps, and desserts. i think i may have OD'd on cheesecake and grey goose, but I like it!

Pros: music, vibe, mixed drinks, drink specials
Cons: you have to know where it is to find it
