Spa Om Magie

My husband originally surprised me with a day to the spa for valentines day 02/14/09!! I just fell in love with this place the setting is soo pretty makes you feel relaxed and welcomed!! I've been to many spas before and have never exeperienced this type of customer service everybody was soooo friendly and welcoming!! I haven't been to another spa ever since. I live an hour and 15 mins away it is sooo worth the drive!! I recommend Ms. Ginger for facials the sweetest lady you will ever meet and Ms. Genie for massages lady can work some magic on your back!!! On your birthday they send you a gift certificate to use towards your next service have never been to a spa that will do that for you! The service is well worth every dollar and cent spent!! I highly recommend this spa!!!

This is my favorite spa, hands down. Ever since I have been going to Spa Om Magie, my skin is glowing. Not only do they have the best facials, but also great products. They really took their time to see what treatment was best for me. So I also get my waxing, massages, and Mani/Pedi there. I love the ambience and the d?cor is just spectacular. It is my little wonderland of peace and pampering!! I would definitely recommend Spa Om Magie.

I absolutely love Spa Om Magie, it is my favorite place to visit on Sundays in ATL. My wife and I go for our couples massage and then get our facials and detox footbaths. She ends with a Pedi/Mani and I end with a glass of refreshing cucumber infused water, reading a collection of wonderful books and magazines that Magie, the owner leaves for us in her waiting area. The decor is so exotic; I feel I am waiting in a 5star hotel in Morocco!!! Thank you to Magie and the whole staff for outstanding service and wonderful treatments and using the best products.

We had a Spa Party for my mother's birthday this past weekend. It was wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a more accomodating or friendlier staff. That is hard to come by with 8 ladies waiting to be pampered. Some spa staff members are stuffy but the staff at Spa Om Magie made us feel VERY comfortable. The decor is beautiful and they definitely didn't skimp on service. All the ladies were raving about their services and how great they felt. The massages were AWESOME and the facials were to DIE FOR. I also want to give a special thanks to the owner, Magie. We had an AWESOME time! Thanks to you all! I am definitely going back and making this a monthly ritual.

I was very disappointed in my visit yesterday to this "spa."
The brochure stated the Passage to India package was 4 hours, which is plenty enough time to perform the services (individualized yoga session, facial, hot stone massage, and shirondhara treatment). My husband was informed it would be 5.5 hours instead of 4 prior to my visit so he made reservations with friends at 6:30. I blame the lack of communication with the staff as the reason why I was left standing in the hallway multiple times awaiting my next treatment. The massage therapist blamed it on the woman who checked me in, but barged into the room each time she knocked when I was getting undressed and yelled, "just one minute." The last time she was handing me deodorant and lotion which could have been set inside the door to preserve my modesty.
The manicurist was very, very nice, but she shaved off skin on the outside of my right foot causing an abrasion and filed right through the skin on my big toe. Perhaps she could have done a better job if she wasn't interrupted several times and had to wait 2 hours after the massage and shirodhara treatment to finish my manicure and pedicure. (It's been 2 days and I can't touch the outside of the foot to anything without pain. I can send pictures if needed.) It typically takes 45 minutes to do a spa mani/pedi combo at my local salon and the quality far exceeded this facility.
The biggest issue I have is employing students. When the facialist told me she was a student at the International School of Skin & Nailcare on Roswell Road I felt cheated. Facials by students are $17 ($35 for European) and my husband booked services at this spa assuming they use licensed estheticians. She told me "my english not so good" and she could not understand my questions, nor could I understand what she was asking me to do before, during, and after the facial. She misunderstood my response that I was a teacher at Georgia State University and thought I taught at the International School of Skin & Nailcare. Although she was very proud to be a student awaiting citizenship, she named all the teachers as if I should know them. I will speak with them to inform them she's working without a license.
Lastly, my husband was disappointed that they would not provide the individualized yoga session because that was the main reason he chose this spa. However, when they told me they switched the yoga session for the mani/pedi combo because I already knew how to do yoga and it was for people who hadn't had yoga before I felt deceived. They told my husband it was because they didn't have time. From observing them on Saturday, I know they booked another client for a facial to further their income instead of providing the services described in the package. (The client came into the manicure area when there was no one at the desk to check her in.) Whatever the client's previous experience may be with facials, massage, mani/pedicures, or yoga, spas are obligated to provide the services described or be honest about their ability to provide those services. Perhaps they did not provide the yoga because they are not certified yoga instructors.
I hurried out the door on Saturday because my husband had been sitting in the parking lot with my 5 month old since 5:30 and then in their facility from 6 until my facial was completed at 6:30pm. He booked reservations at 6:30 based upon when they said I would be done which we did not make. I can't believe they convinced enough employees and possible clients to vote them Best of City Search in 2008 but I will be very vocal about why they are absolutely not qualified to be best of anything. I wrote this so potential clients will know bad business practices at this facility.

I've been a customer of Spa Om Magie for several months. Magie, the owner, is very personable and takes time to make sure all of your needs are met. I highly recommend the Rock the Kasbah massage with Junie! The hot stone massage leaves you feeling refreshed and relaxed. I usually don't fall asleep during massages but Junie's magic hands does it every time! Moreover, I treated my boyfriend to the service today and he thought it was amazing!! He said he's never going back to getting a regular massage!

I have never written an online review before, but I read the reviews here and decided to visit the spa. I had a bad experience somewhere else. I had a chemcial peel gone wrong and had dark pigments all over my skin. I am an African American woman, 30 years old. Today was my 3rd microdermabrasion treatment and my skin looks wonderful. It is glowing and more even. My family complimented me on my skin after my 1st treatment. Magie and her mother are great!!! The products they use on gentle, yet effective. My skin is not aggravated at all and best of all the large dark spot I had on my cheek is almost gone. I will be going here every month for facials. Just wonderful.

My sister treated me to a facial for my birthday and it was fabulous! It was our first time getting a facial and it was better than what we had expected. We weren't sure if their products would be too strong for our sensitive Asian skin, but everything they used was natural and perfect for our skin type. Our faces are still glowing from our visit on Friday! We look forward to our next visit and highly recommend this spa to anyone who's never had a facial before.

My in-laws gave my husband, and I the gift of "The Day Trip package" at Spa Om Magie. We both enjoyed and experienced the best massage, facial, and mani, pedi. I love Magie she was very friendly and gave me absolutely the best facial I have ever had. I highly recommend this spa and would give their gift certificates to my friends.

I got a Gift Certificate for Gentlemen's Facial and Massage. It was my first spa experience and I was very skeptic at first. I was totally wrong! The whole staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The facial took 10 years off my age and the massage took off 5 more!!!!! I would definitely recommend this Spa.

If you never had a brazilian wax please try this place!!! You are going to have everything original even the professional is from Brazil, the wax is from Brazil, so you know you are in good hands and she make you feel so nice ,confortable and relaxed, and i think for first timers like me she is the best!!

I came to spa om magie for a weekend trip with my girlfriend.... I had a massage with Junie and waxing with Ana!! I was so nervous about getting my first brazilian wax but ana made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and the best part was it did not even hurt..... Also, junie was amazing and put me right to sleep!!!!!! I wish I could box these ladies up and take them back with me but since I cant I will DEFINITELY be back!!! Thank you guys so much!

I had a beautiful experience at Spa Om Magie. I went for a massage to relax the day before a very important exam. It was the best thing I could have done for myself! The customer service was outstanding, and the massage exceeded my expectations. The massage therapist, Juni, was amazing. The owner Magie was so friendly and wanted to ensure that I enjoyed myself. I highly recommend going, I will be back soon! By the way, I got an excellent score on my exam!!!

My husband and I went here together for our birthday treat. The people were very nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The decor was exotic and tasteful and made you feel like you were somewhere far away like on vacation in Eastern Europe or something. Magie, the owner, is awesome. She really seems to care about all the clients and making sure everyone is comfortable. My facial was the best I've had, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his massage. We'll be coming back soon!

I've been to some of the best spas in the country and never has a therapist put me to sleep. Junie was FABULOUS! Not only did she get the kinks out but she had to wake me at the end of the session. I highly recommend the Rock the Casbah massage. I'll be back and I will request Junie.

I have never had a massage or a facial before but my experience here made me wonder why I have never done so before. I left my appointment feeling very relaxed and refreshed and happy to have met some extremely warm and caring people. They not only provided me with the services I requested but gave me adivce on what to do on my own to help relieve tension and fix some of the issues I had with skin tone etc.
I don't really know what happens at other spas because I have never been to one, but I think it is safe to say that I would not hesitate to recommend Spa Om Magie even without knowing what it's like elsewhere.

I went to the spa upon reading reviews on citysearch, and had an amazing experience. I was experiencing shoulder and back pain, and went for a massage. Unlike most spas, Om Magie actually listened to where I was experiencing pain and worked on those areas. Dejan was my therapist, and he is INCREDIBLE!! I've been to spas all over the country, and this was hands down the best I've ever had. His knowldege of the body was unlike any I've ever seen - he knew just where to pinpoint the pain, and worked it so that I feel better than I have in months - and that's after 1.5 mos of physical therapy! I highly recommend this spa and Dejan in particular! Oh, in addition, I met Magie, and she is so nice and welcomes you as though you are a guest in her home...

The service at spa om magie is amazing. The manager Magie was wounderfully kind as well as the whole staff. facials here are incredible. after the facial i noticed my face was toned and my acne was almost gone. I play alot of sports and my body gets very tight and uncomftrouble but after a masage at Spa om magie i feel so relaxed. I am planning on taking all my friends to Spa Om magie, so that they can see the results i saw in my skin. Magie the owner was very kind and does an amazing yoga session. I feel like this is now where i want to go every week becauuse it was so amazing.

If you are looking to feel truly special, look no further than Spa Om Magie. I have been to countless spas around the country, but have yet to find competition to what I experienced at this peaceful retreat. After my signature facial and 90 minute massage, I could hardly bring myself to leave the warm blankets of the treatment tables, the soft hands of my knowledgeable therapists, the calming smell of cookies and jasmine... my visit to Spa Om Magie was exceptional. I confidently recommend this boutique spa to anyone looking for real service, real pampering, and real atmosphere that includes a welcoming team of professionals. A+

After searching for hours on City Search for a spa to take my mom to for her Christmas present, I found Spa Om Magie along with many recommendations for Junie. We drove 2 hours to get there from Middle Georgia, and it was so worth it! My dad and I joke that Junie is my mom's storybook godmother now: we brought Junie a Grinch, and she gave us back a happy princess! My mom came out from the back room with her hair all messy and a glazed look in her eyes. She said that Junie was the most amazing massage therapist she has ever had. Once I had a massage after my mom, I understood what she meant! Junie is very thorough and makes you feel very comfortable. My mom is getting a couples massage for my dad for valentines day. She said she will "lend" Junie to him just this once, but then she gets her from here on out.

As for the overall Spa Om Magie atmosphere? It's fabulous! My mom and I are treated like royalty the minute we walk in. They offer you cookies, tea, water, etc. before and after your appointment. You get a private room for your manicure and pedicure. Your pedicure is not in a tub; rather it is in a beatuiful, large metal basin. The massage rooms are very private and cozy. I live in Washington DC, and I now fly into Altanta, my mom picks me up there, we go to the spa, then drive two hours to home.

I recommend Spa Om Magie to everyone. I would recommend Junie, but I don't want her to be too booked that I cannot get an appointment. ; )

The first massage I had with Junie was so incredibly relaxing and wonderful that I booked another appointment within two weeks. I literally fell asleep and started dreaming during the second massage. No kidding! She is extremely talented.

This has to be the best spa in Atlanta. I absolutely love the mood and setting it gives the moment you walk in the building. The customer service is amazing which is hard to come by these days. I?ve been to almost every spa in town and Spa Om Magie has been my favorite spa experience yet. It has a warm yet mystic ambiance, elegantly decorated rooms, high-end natural skincare products (I love Fleurs and Phytoceane), and most importantly, an amazingly talented staff. I?ve tried four different massage therapists and they are all wonderful. Just last week, I had a massage with Hank and walked out feeling so revitalized and energetic all day. My facial with Maryam was magnificent...my skin was glowing the whole weekend. The belly dance classes with Asha are fun as well. You will definitely enjoy this spa experience.

The facial I received would be the only reason I would go back. The massage was mediocre and the therapist who gave me the massage did not let me relax. He kept joking and even made a comment that was a little unproffessional and flirty. This isn't something you want to hear immediately before the guy is in control of touching most of your body. When the music stopped, he didn't bother to fix it or make up for the ambience missing. He just kept interrupting the relaxation with his jokes.
They didn't have a waiver for medical purposes and there is no real way of knowing if the products are safe for sensitive skin. So, if you are a person that may have circulatory problems, diabetes, or some other condition, go to some other spa.
Also, the girl at the desk showed no real couth and completely destroyed the ambiance with her attitude. She practically yelled the total of the price across the room when I'd hoped to not let my guest hear how much I wanted to spend on her.
Last but DEFINITELY not least was the fact that we left a ring there. No policy exists that stated items left behind were not their responsibility, yet your valuables, (i.e. if you forget to take off a ring until you receive a hand treatment) are not safe if you need to take a shower between treatments. I don't know about you, but, when I enter an establishment in Buckhead Atlanta, I wouldn't like to feel as though I was going to a slum and needed to remove everything of value before I go to relax!
Go get the facial and spend the rest of your money elsewhere.

Spa OM Magie is amazing. The interior is beautifully decorated and immediately relaxing. Each room is amazing and I hope to one day get to experience the services they provide in each. The message therapy I received was fantastic and I didn't want to leave when it was over. This is definitely a Spa you want to try and it is a WONDERFUL gift to give a friend or family member as a birthday gift or an anytime gift if they need to unwind.

I HAVE BEEN TO SPA OM MAGIE MANY TIMES AND IT FAR THE BEST SPA THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN AT. SPA OM MAGIE PROVIDED ME WITH AN EXCELLENT COSTUMER SERVICE AND A GREAT SKIN TREATMENT. I had LED light therapy done for the first time on my hand and wrist for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and the results were amazing. My hand and wrist feel so much better because the light reduces inflamation. I highly recommend this treatment on anyone who has any joint, muscle, or any other type of pain.

I went to the spa OM magie and I had the best Facial ever. I also recieved the LED light theropy for my face which it made a great difference on my face. If you ever need to go and relax and come out with a great skin you have to go to this spa.

I also went to this spa 2 days ago and recieved the Lifting facial theropy and it made me look 5 years younger. It was very relaxing and enjoyable time and place to be. If you want the best service and best products this is the place to go. Do not take my word for it, experience it yourself.
