I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night with a party of about twelve. The service was awful! There were only three other tables in the whole restaurant, so the staff couldn't have been too busy. First they sat us in a tiny room

Pros: Liquid Nitrogen Margaritas

Cons: Service

Unfortunately, the food does not impress with taste nor portions. The presentation is beautiful but that's the only positive comment I can give. The service was slow and the restaurant was not full. Portions were very small and bland. We

Pros: brave attempt at postmodernist cuisine

Cons: flavors, value

.

We all agreed that the experience was interesting, neat flavors, cool drinks, etc... But not at all worth the exorbitant prices. With that, I can't recommend the restaurant for a true meal. We will not return.

Element? More like Particle. Me and my girlfriend left this place more hungry than when we went in. We had to stop by MacDonald's on the way home because I was about to gnaw my f#cking thumb off to fight the hunger pangs I was having.

We went on Saturday night, 4 August with a cautiously open mind aware of the unusual cuisine. There were 3 of us of different ages and taste preferences and none of us had a very pleasant experience. The service was exceptional with all

My fiance and I used to frequent his previous efforts. The new location is a little bit of a better fit. The focus is really on the food, and the staff was very accomodating. We did the tasting menu and asked if they had an availble wine

Chef Blais has a true gift. If this isn't your kind of dining then you probably should skip it and leave all of those delicious morsels for the rest of us. Blais really makes the most mundane foods amazing and I have never had this

I'm sorry but I just had to comment on the "skip it" review posted below. I have probably dined at Element a dozen times since Chef Blais took over the kitchen, my most recent meal being today for brunch. I'll quote myself, something I

Pros: interesting food with bold flavors

Brunch at Element was fantastic. I got the flap jacks with coffee butter (amazing!) and Kim Ware's Crab Cakes (with this mango sauce to die for). My girlfriend got the smoked salmon (on a bagel) dish with the lobster hash on the side. We

Pros: Richard Blais, awesome blending of flavors

I have been a long-time fan of One Midtown Kitchen, so the idea of hiring Richard Blais to create an incredible menu makes sense. While his nitrogen-themed menu sounds like an exotic culinary adventure, it fell very flat on the Saturday

Pros: Hostess was nice

Cons: Terrible food, non-existent portions

Element was a wonderful surprise! We went with low hopes, since the place seems empty much of the time and the decor is not welcoming, and since we were not impressed with a prior experience before Richard Blais became the chef there.

Pros: chef that uses freezing torch tableside

Cons: Richard Blais

This past Saturday night, my girlfriend and myself, wanted to go to someplace new in Midtown. We had been reading about this new chef, Richard Blais. We should have known something was wrong, since the place was almost empty on Saturday

Pros: Cool Midtown Location!

Cons: Awful Food and Presentation!

We heard that Richard Blais was back in town, and this is where he landed. It was Tuesday night, the place was empty. And guess who was delivering the food from the kitchen. The man himself. This is not our cup of tea, or should we say

Pros: None!

Cons: Richard Blais!

I went to Element for the first time after hearing that Chef Richard Blais (formerly of One Midtown Kitchen) had taken over and have been back twice for dinner and once for brunch. I loved Blais' food at One, but this is even better.

I recently went to Element on West Peachtree St. for a date. The dining room is inviting and relaxing, with cafe seating, earthy colors, and nice art on the walls. Our Server was very knowledgeable about the food answering my dates many
