Dynamic Hair Studio & Spa

I'm 6 months pregnant and have not felt very pretty in awhile. Then I went to get my haircut at the dynamic hair studio and JT cut my hair. I think JT is magical because not only was this the best haircut I've ever had, it's easy to maintain and I feel pretty for the first time in 6 months!

Definately a 5 star place!

Pros: JT is the best hairstylist in chicago, it's a cute studio
Cons: Parking on Division is no fun

Readers and Friends, WE recently found OUR Dynamic Hairstylist back, I dont like writting so much, but after i read all the reviews here about the Salon and Employees, I needed to write a couple of words, OUR Hairstylist's name is Javier,and i just knew this,cause when i met him in Lincoln Park at the other salon that he use to work, he was introduce to US as"JT"and thats what we always called him,anyways the point is,at DYNAMIC HAIR STUDIO,was a Javier, that not many people liked, so OUR Javier known as JT. is concern that people and new clients might think and be confused that he is the same Javier that used to work there, and we decided to write that he is an AWESOME, DEDICATED, TALENTED, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, AND OUTGOING HAIRSTYLIST. so HEADS UP JT.(JAVIER) we are proud of YOU!
And show what an awesome person you are.....BTW The receptionoist was super extremely nice to me,since i was the one getting a haircut.....OUTSTANDING SERVICE! keep it up guys!

Pros: that they have JT. awesome hairstylist and great team of employees
Cons: in need of a more comfortable waiting seating area and parking is not so good

It's hard to find a salon that has someone who truly knows how to handle "Latina" hair. Yes...Latina hair is different! Especially when it's curly, curly, curly! After going to several different salons to find the right stylist for my hair, I decided to go back to Dynamic after my first experience there 4 years back. I was lucky to have Lina as my stylist. She was very gentle in handling my tough hair, and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. I was extremely satisfied with the results. I will never have to look for the right salon again because I have found it. Thank you Lina!

Pros: Skilled friendly staff
Cons: Can be pricey, but it's worth it!

I went here this weekend for my hair and make up trial for my wedding. Lina was my stylist and she did exactly what I had in mind. It is nice to feel confident that I will look great on my special day! I would highly recommend her for makeup and up-do's!

Cons: It was a little chaotic when I arrived but slowed down once I was there.

I arrived at Dynamic upon the recommendation of a stylist who no longer works there, but I stayed. It's been 3 years, and I truly look forward to my weekly visits to Dynamic. Myrka is wonderful with the waxing, and I'm going to try some of the other treatments she offers pretty soon. Antonio is incredible, when he lived in the Caribbean, I flew there twice to get my hair done by him, and now it's great to have him close to home. If Antonio is not available, Yolanda always does an incredible job also. Michelle is an inspiration to Latina Entrepreneurs, and Melissa is just a sweetheart. Dynamic is an upscale salon with all of the amenities. You could purchase your Aveda products that are always available, a purse, jewelry, and even a hand-knitted winter hat, made by Holly's grandmother. All in all, I've tried many upscale salons, but I will definitely be with Dynamic for a very long time :)
