Since I started training with Chisholm, I have become stronger and more fit. He pushes me during our work-out sessions. We are always doing a new routine and his work-outs are definitely not boring!! Chisholm pushes me beyond what I think I am capable of doing and inspires me to work harder. He is also very knowledgeable about nutrition and has helped me understand and appreciate the importance of nutrition in relation to overall health. About 3 years ago I decided to again try to prolong my life by beginning a regular exercise program, a goal I had set for myself many times in the past and at which I had always failed. I researched personal trainers in my locale (Galleria area) and picked Chisholm because I liked what he said on his website. He got me started exercising regularly and has made the experience work for me as we are still meeting 3X week and I am 40 lbs. lighter and in a lot better shape. Chisholm is a no nonsense guy, but has a keen sense of my limits (I am 65 years old). I admit I don't relish exercise, but then I don't miss appointments either. I think a lot of this has to do with my feeling I am going to have a good time working out with him and he's going to keep me moving at a pace that I can handle.

I can't say enough good things about Chisholm. In a matter of twelve 30-minute sessions, he has transformed my body like no other trainer has. If I could rate this guy higher than 5 stars, I would. The man doesn't play...it's nonstop for 30 minutes! You leave drenched and proud of yourself because you survived ""The Chisholm""! All kidding aside, he is great at what he does. I can't say enough good things about Chisholm. In a matter of twelve 30-minute sessions, he has transformed my body like no other trainer has. If I could rate this guy higher than 5 stars, I would. The man doesn't play...it's nonstop for 30 minutes! You leave drenched and proud of yourself because you survived ""The Chisholm""! All kidding aside, he is great at what he does. My favorite part of every training session is that each is unique and different from the one before. I never got bored or dreaded the thought of doing some particular exercise at our next session because it was always different. Chisholm pushes you to work hard and not give up, but doesn't over do it either. After every workout I always felt satisfied that I had worked a lot of muscles and my body would see the benefits. I think his prices are pretty affordable if you don't consider the additional monthly membership fee; however, I would guess it is still comparable to fees at other facilities. I would definitely recommend Chisholm to other people.

Regarding the appropriate diet for weight loss and muscle gain, Chisolm is realistic and firm in his recommendations. I like the fact that occasionally Chisolm tells me about the pepperoni pizza or big burger (no fries)he has eaten. He pushes his clients but also seems to know when to pull back (not very often). As a physician, I can tell that Chisolm really knows his science and physiology well. No voodoo magic fixes here. I highly recommend this trainer.

He talked with us and helped us define our goals and expectations. He designed our workouts to avoid potential problem areas (when we started, I was just getting over a back injury.) He also encouraged us to put forth our best efforts and gave us a lot of very helpful advice on eating right and developing good personal workout habits. Since my wife and I work out together, he designed our workouts so that we both got the chance to get the maximum benefit from the exercise, even though we might be doing different routines at the same time. \r\nOne other thing that I like about training with Chisholm is that no two workout sessions are completely the same; he is always varying the types of exercise so that we concentrate on different muscle groups each time, helping us to be avoid overstressing any particular area, and making it so that the ""workout"" never just feels like ""work"".
