I had a great experience using Houston Patio Covers to build my dream patio. They do excellent and beautiful work. Dylan helped me to figure out any and everything that I didn't fully understand about the project. I was originally told that it would take 6-7 days to complete, in which that was cut in half. I believe that the prices are very reasonable for the total outcome of what you have built. If I had any questions or needed anything looked at, Dylan was very prompt about making sure we were on the same page. I've been complimented by friends, family, and neighbors about how nice our patio cover is. I will be sure to refer everyone I know to Houston Patio Covers!!!

I was very impressed after seeing the Houston patio cover website and reading the reviews. It seemed like the best company to hire to build a patio. I called the phone number on the website. A person named Dylan picked up the phone. Said he could come over to my house the following week to provide me with an estimate. He asked me to shoot him an email with my phone number and address so that he could come over. I promptly send an email with the date and time of the appointment fixed and my address and phone numbers. But on the given date and time, no one turned up. I did not get any phone calls about rescheduling or cancellation of the appointment. They may be great patio builders without any doubt but I am very disappointed that they did not provide me the service which was promised(ie come over and give an estimate)

This company is a great example of the American small business owner. There is no pushy salesman. You deal with the owner Mr. Bob and he is the only one you deal with. He calls you everyday when his crew is working on your project. It took about 6 months for my schedule and Bob's to meet but it was worth it. He honors his quotes and will tell you straight if there are any issues. His prices are very fair compared to others due to the fact that he keeps his costs down. When he is done he will give you the contact details for the contractors to do the cement slab and other things. This saves you money and the contractors are very proactive because they know Bob refers them. I will have Bob and crew build any future patio covers that I need. His list of references is long with many satisfied customers. Just call them including me. Good job and thank you to Bob and crew.

As a engineer I'm very detailed and when it comes to construction I expect the same. Houston Patio Covers did a superior job with the planning, construction and final touches on my patio. My family and I are so very pleased with the outcome of the final product. Bob and his crew worked their magic with the disign and construction. The work area was cleaned up each day. The project was completed on time and with-in the estimated budget.

Bob personally gave us an estimate. He gave us a time frame that I thought was ambitious, if not impossible, a typical contractor's trick. But Bob is no ordinary contractor. WHAT HE SAYS, HE DOES. He did all the legwork with our HOA, which can be a pain. His crew built a flawless patio cover with all the extras we asked for IN LESS than the time frame promised. Upon completion, you couldn't tell the crew had ever been there, save for the perfect patio cover. I would recommend them to ANYONE.

When I was looking to have a custom patio cover built, I was also looking for a builder that could remodel my garage (add windows, AC, all new electric work, insulation, etc) at the same time. Houston Patio Covers Inc. first caught my attention with their website, which show many examples of their fine work, plus some very helpful information on their link labeled "Building a Patio Cover". After meeting Bob Hamilton to discuss both projects, I was pretty sure I had the right guy and company. A few days later I received a bid that was very fair and competitive, so I signed a contact. The work has been completed and I am very pleased with the both the patio cover and garage remodeling final product and with the way the work was performed. I am very pleased to recommend them to anyone.

I got several estimates for a large job and the bids were all over the map. ALL wanted money up front.
Bob not only gave a very reasonable bid, estimated 3-4 days for the entire job, and insisted on NO money up front. The job started on Tuesday and finished on Friday. NO problems, and a beautiful job. He even came back after the hurricane and rehung one of our fans that had been damaged in the storm. If you are considering a job that his company does, hire him.

I would like to start by saying Bob took the time to teach me about patios and did not try to SELL me anything. I had read his reviews and spoke to a few people about contractors they recommended but I wanted to at least talk with Bob first. When he came over to our house he looked at what I wanted to do and help me understand what the best way to get the desired result would be. I had thought of a way to do this job, as a man we always try to out think our opponent, but Bob was truthful and up front. What I had come up with would have been much more expensive and the end result would have been the same. He could have taken the money and said, The customer is always right. but he didnt. After the job was complete he came back by and noticed an issue with the concrete. He could have not said a word and just went on about his way but instead HE pointed it out to my wife. He had it taken care of and did not let up on the other contractor until they made it right.
BOB and his CREW did a great job and would be proud the pass his name along to anyone who needs his help. A++++++++++ guy to work with.

When you first meet Bob Hamilton you might be a bit curious if his upbeat personality and dry humor are a front for the benefit of sales or if he is genuine. You will quickly learn he is for real. He made unheard of promises like no money up front, completed job in 5 days or less, and no left over trash. He delivered with flying colors on all promises. Our covered patio was complete in less than 4 days. His crew is nothing but professional. It's very apparent that they have been doing this for a very long time.
We had a neighbor building at the same time as us, with another builder, who delivered horror stories of leaky roofs and long delays. Another friend was adding a cover at the same time as us and bragged of the money he was saving. Well guess what, he paid a huge down payment, never got his patio or his monery back. We smiled and proudly stated, "You should have gone to Houston Patio Covers."
We had our patio cover built in September and can't wait until spring when we can really enjoy it to it's fullest. Bob, thank you for reassuring us that there are service providers out there with integrity.

Wow. That just about sums it up. Our patio is much more than we expected and at a very resonable price. We had about 5 quotes before finding HPC and it was a no brainer from there. Once we had the install scheduled, Bob surprised us with being able to work it in early(they were done in 4 days). Only problem was we were going to be out of town that week. We decided to go ahead with the installation and it was like returning home to a different backyard. The craftsmanship is excellent and I am more than certain the patio will outlast our 1960's home. Now we just need to get our yard looking as good as the patio! Thanks again Bob, we are really going to enjoy our "Lexus". ;)

Immaculate Job by an amazing builder
It started with wanting to add a covered patio that tied into my brand new house and my garage. I was impressed by Bobs website and asked that he come to quote the job. Bob was very honest, upfront and explanatory about the process, so I hired him. Of course, it had not rained in over a month, but the day the guys cut into the house and garage to tie in, it poured for hours. Bob called me checking in to be sure that no water leaked into the house and came to check out the job in the pouring rain. Bob treated my house as if it were his own.no builder or contractor I have ever met does that. Bob is full of knowledge and really knows his stuff. The crew - thank you for the best clean up job I could not have done better myself. When the job was complete I was in awe and still am everyday I walk out my back door. Thank you Bob I am proud to refer anyone to you and am very glad to know you.

Houston Patio Covers did an excellant job on our patio project. The work was done in a professional manner and exceeded the minimum required building code standards. We made several changes to the structure along the way and Bob was able to accomodate these changes. My wife and I are very happy with the finished product and have been enjoying it. I would certainly recommend HPC for this type of work.

Bob and the crew just finished my patio last week and we are delighted with the finsished product. After meeting with several contractors I didnt feel tthat the job was going to get done correct. Bob came by and recommended taking out my windows and stating the roof much higher. I was impressed with the attention to detail in replacing the windows and the details to the entire patio in general. The grew cleaned up every evening before leaving and answered every question I had as the patio was going up. Top notch job, thanks Bob and crew.

Bob and his team are the best ! The Job there did on my House was excellent it made my house that I already loved a home and now I have a screened in patio that I can enjoy all year around .It is so well build that it feels like a extra room and looks like it came with the house
His workers are clean and will try to work with you in every way to make sure that you are happy with your patio

After getting 6 or so estimates, I felt the most comfortable with Bob. Glad I did because Bob and his crew were finished in 3 working days! The patio looks like it came with the house, but only built better! They were clean, professional, and very efficient. What an outstanding job! My neighbors are jealous now and are saving money for their own patio. Thanks for the ideas you had, Bob and also the gardening tips.

Bob and the crew finished my patio cover and it actually exceeded my expectations. I had several other companies come out and quote the job, HPC was much better priced and addressed all of my concerns. Now my neighbors are wanting to built a patio cover after they came over to inspect mine. I watched the crew during the construction and they measured and checked every beam and angle - their work is first class and precise. I inspected the work after completion to pick it apart and I could not find a single aspect of the construction that needed to be re-addressed. During construction - Bob steered me away from overdoing the cover or adding features that were not needed - I trusted his opinion and he was right on all of his suggestions. The concrete company was top notch and their pricing was a very good value - so I added a couple of hundred feet more to the project with no problems. You can tell - this is what they do and they do it very well. My wife and I mulled over the decision to add to the patio for about a year and we spoke to several contractors. I saved about 35% by going with Houston patio Covers and I feel that I got much better construction and design than I could have gotten with the others.

If you want a professional, neat, clean, hardworking, good humored, reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy team then Houston Patio Covers is right for you. Our patio cover is absolutely beautiful and looks like it came with the house (actually Bob's work is better than our home builder's work)! Bob and his team take great pride in their workmanship, as they should, because they are the BEST OF THE BEST! I 100% recommend Houston Patio Covers. Bob and his crew just finished a patio in our back yard with two ceiling fans and lights. I love it!! They worked from 9am-6pm every day and finished in 4 days. Every day, there was no trace of debis. I have rarely met a crew as tidy, hard-working, and unobtrusive as Bob's crew--and I have had many crews work on my house. Thanks, Bob, Roberto, Arturo, and other workers! I recommend Houston to Patio Covers to anyone!

Called Houston Patio Covers to review a patio cover replacement project...in MAY!!! Bob Hamilton provided us a bid that was in line with others that we had solicited but Bob showed more knowledge and experience than the other competition. However, when asked when he could start the project...he said end of August - early September....ugh. We had a good feeling about Bob after talking with him and reviewing some of his project photos and since we could wait....we took the chance and waited. He started the last week of August (as stated), completed the work in 4 days (earlier than proposed), and the project was completed with excellent quality and workmanship, and to summarize - WHAT a great decision we made!!! Even though the project had it's challenges he simply treated the obstacles (minor as they may have been to him) as opportunities. We have had our fair share of experiences with contractors in the past year but Bob surpassed EVERY one of our expectations. Roberto (Bob's leadman - what a treat he is) knows his business and can actually read Bob's mind (I'm convinced of it). Roberto and his men started at a reasonable hour and worked tirelessly and safely until they were at a convenient point usually late in the day. They never seemed to stop working. We are so pleased with the work they did we would NEVER even hesitate to recommend Houston Patio Covers to anyone - anytime. The work place was left immaculate at the end of each workday. Even the neighbors were impressed. We can't say enough about Bob and his team and the product they left with us to enjoy. At the end of the job, I was prepared for the usual contractor list of extras...but there were NONE!!!....NONE!!! Highly unusual in this day in age. So, if you're looking for high quality,on time delivery, and a high level of honesty and INTEGRITY....Bob's your man. One added comment - you'll especially enjoy the project experience if you have a good sense of humor.

Bob and crew did a simply awesome job on our patio cover. It was a great pleasure to work with them, and the finished product is just fantastic. Bob has a great ability to take our described concept and make it happen (and look great!). There were some tricky angles to match the patio cover lines with our detached garage, but Bob & crew pulled it all together beautifully. Our neighbors also just love how well the new structure blends with the original house (like it was part of the original).
The crew worked exceptionally hard, and it was hot out! They actually were able to start one day early (when does that ever happen?) and moved the construction along very quickly. I loved that I didnt need to be home at all during the construction, it was in completely capable hands. I would just review the days progress that evening, and give any comments or concerns to Bob and crew. They responded right away. A home renovation without any disruption, really!
Construction quality is excellent, when you see the work in progress (after they install the main posts and beams), you will have no doubt that the patio cover is probably the most structurally sound part of your entire house. The finishing detail work was also excellent, I can see the crews skill in how well they matched the (existing) garage to the (new) patio cover.
Bobs recommended special features are great, they make the patio a fully livable space: the dimmable recessed lighting, the FANS!!, the wiring for speakers and TV. Bob also offered suggestions for flooring that were spot-on, the slate tile looks really great. Use Bobs recommendations for concrete and floor work, you will be thrilled with the results.
Most important, Bob is a man of integrity. We have heard a lot of home renovation horror stories. Bob is nothing like that. Bob knows what hes doing, he responds to requests and he absolutely keeps his word. Bob is completely up-front, no surprises! We do not give out perfect review readily, Bob and his crew absolutely earned & deserve it!

A friend gave me Bob's number and once I called him he was there the next day. He took me to a neighbors house to show me his most recent work then he looked at our back yard and said "I know what you want".He is very friendly and funny but professional. In a few days we had a quote that was very reasonable. He gave us a starting date and that was the day he started. A week before he came to go over everything again. The job only took one week as stated in the quote. Roberto who has been working with Bob for 19 years and his crew are very professional and efficient. They cleaned the patio every afternoon and kept the place very neat, they were very friendly and always open to answer all our questions. They worked long hours and despite the high temperature they were here every day.There were no surprises or extra charges. When they left our house the job was fully completed.
We never thought that he could build the patio just the way we had dreamed, but he did it.
Now we spend lots of our time outside enjoying our great patio. We have gotten tons of compliments since it is not only one of the best areas of the house but also makes our backyard look much bigger.
We will never hesitate to recommend Bob.

After nine years of dealing with the brutal west sun on our patio, we decided to create some shade. I found the website for Houston Patio Covers and was impressed with what I saw of Bob Hamilton. I shot him an e-mail with a photo of our backyard and that was all it took to end up with a patio cover that looks like it was built with the house, Folks, if you're looking for a professional job at an affordable price, I highly recommend sending Bob Hamilton an e-mail to see what masterpiece he can create for you! We got a great new addtion to our home. Our patio was completed in 3 days!! We looked for months trying to get several other companies to come out and give us a quote. ALL of them said that they did not understand what we wanted or we could not do what we wanted. We tried numerus times to get quotes after they came out, one never gave quote, the other was over priced and wanted 1/2 down and the other wanted 22K (WOW he should have just said he did not want to do it. Then we found BOB. He came out quickly, and as soon as he walked into our yard he said "I know exactly what you need". He was thinking the same thing as us. He told us if we could think it, then he could make it. What a great concept. Well he came out when schedule and finished all the work very quickly. We even we able to add some stuff at the end with out a problem. He just said "whatever you want". After spending our first few weeks under our knew patio we said to ourselves " why didn't we do this sooner." There might be a wait to get him but it is well worth it. I would not pass him by and go with anyone else. Excellent materials, workers (whatever he pays them it is not enough, they did great), price, and Patio. I have tried to give his name out to everyone I know.

Oooh how I wish I had found about Bob and Houston Patio Covers BEFORE we had our patio work done by another company. Two-thirds of the work done by the other company actually turned out fine but the final third was installed incorrectly and now, a few years later, looks and performs terribly. Needless to say it has been a nightmare trying to get the other company to take responsibility. While, on my quest for answers, advice and quotes to arm myself for battle I came across Bob's website. It was just what I needed, great information, straight-up advice and best of all a recommended list of other companies that he trusted, who else would do that. I have gotten quotes from two companies on Bob's list to use on my behalf and I am extremely happy with both of them . . . it will be difficult to chose between the two to do the repair/replacement work. Thanks to Bob and his recommended companies, much of the uncertainty and distastefulness I was feeling toward "construction people" has diminished, as it should, and I can now put my focus and anger back on the one company responsible.
Wish me luck as I must push forward, but now, with more confidence . . . THANKS Houston Patio Covers!!!

I met Bob in 107 degree weather and a flat tire. He did not hesitate to change it. With cuts & scapes from it all, he still smiled and had a great sense of humor. I was already looking to do a patio onto my home and will definitely use him and refer him to everyone I know. He finished a job in Sienna Plantation and have heard nothing but PRAISE!!! I wish him all the best. He is a really good all around guy!

Houston Patio Covers added an extensive patio cover across the back of my home. The work was perfect, completed early, and done with a minimum of interruption to our daily routine. The carpenters were experts. The bid remained the same throughout the project- no haggling or hidden fees. NO payment was required until the job was completed. My faith in contractors completely changed after working with Bob. His total honesty is very refreshing in today's world. I highly recommend this group to anyone who is interested in quality workmanship, pleasant interaction, and on-time job completion. This has been such a great experience, I would like to think of another project because the workmanship adds so much beauty to the Houston.

I found Bob Hamilton with Houston Patio Covers one day while on lunch. He was working on my neighbor's house. I had been looking for someone to build a patio for me for months, to no avail. Either there were extensive delays in even just a returned phone call or the design was not up to par. I gave him a call, asked for a quote and a plan. Within days the project was started and within less than a week the project was finished. I was absolutely amazed. Bob and his crew did such an incredible job, even more than I could have asked for. It absolutely looks like an extension of my house. Every single line is matched. I have been enjoying my patio for a few months now and everyone that comes over just loves it. I recommend him over and over. You will not be disappointed.

Since moving to Houston from the Northeast several years ago, we have wanted to add a patio cover to our home to provide some relief from the Houston heat. The shape of our home and the roof line presented a challenge, and we spoke with several contractors. none of whom could seem to come up with a design that met our needs at reasonable price, until we spoke with Bob Hamilton. Within minutes of arriving, Bob had sketched out exactly what we needed, and by the next day had provided a detailed estimate. Over the next several months, we seemed to have one family related conflict after another, requiring us to delay and reschedule several times. Bob took this all in stride and just said to let him know when we were ready, which we finally did. Once we had the date set, he informed us that the entire job would take 4 days start to finish. Having dealt with contractors before, I mentally prepared myself for additional time, but Bob and his excellent crew stayed true to their word, finished the project in 4 days and the end result exceeded all of our expectations. Our patio cover looks like it is a natural part of the house. Friends and neighbors have all commented on how great it looks, and they cannot believe we were able to get such quality work done in such a timely manner. Roberto and the crew instilled confidence during the project by maintaining a neat. well organized job site, and they truly are craftsmen. Every detail, from the finish, to the paint, to the fans and lights came out better than I expected. We not only found a contractor who is honest and takes pride in his work and product, but also someone who has a great outlook on life and is genuinely fun to be around. All it took was one look at the Houston Patio Covers web site and I knew this was what I was looking for. My patio cover took only 6 days start to finish and it looks beautiful. It was everything I had hoped for. Piers had to be installed under my patio. Bob and his team of great guys did very well digging under my ceramic tile making sure not to damage it. The shingles matched well. The paint was great! My patio cover had a window,3 fans and TV hook-up. They had to cut in to my brick to install the fan switches and did an excellent job doing that. The price was reasonable and no hidden cost. As for Bob, he is one guy you'll never forget! He is very good hearted, funny, and cracks some good jokes. Bob, I loved your stories. First of all, let me mention that I'm probably one of the hardest people in the world to please when it comes to construction, since I totally renovated my own house. I'm a perfectionist by nature and expect the utmost in quality. Note; Bob and I got off to rocky start, but his award winning personality eventually won me over. Initially, I was going to obtain three bids but after my first visit with Bob, I was convinced that he was the right person to build my patio cover. My wife and I were totally impressed with the work ethic which Bob and his crew exhibited. They were timely each and every morning and worked until late in the evening. Bob and his crew built a great looking 30x13 patio cover which compliments my house (roof lines). The patio cover is detailed and gives us extra outdoor living space. Start to finish only took his crew from Tuesday to Saturday! And another contractor first --- Bob expected no payment until the job was completed and the fans and lights were turned on! In August, 2008, my world was turned upside down. My 7 year old cat started peeing in the house. I took him to the vet, and the vet found nothing wrong and said it's behavioral. Out of desperation, I put him on an antibiotics and painkillers and put him in the bathroom where he used the litter box 100% of the time. As soon as I let him out into the rest of the house, he peed on cat beds again. After 5 times of him doing this, I put him in the garage temporarily, where he used the litter box 100% of the time. I told my husband that I wanted to add a sun room onto the house for him to live in, because he is good if he's in a smaller room. I contacted company #1 in September, 2008, had an appointment and they stood me up. I called again and scheduled another appointment with a different salesman from company #1. He came out, took measurements and said that we could not have a gabled sun room, because of our roofline and that we would only be able to have a sloped sun room. A few months passed while we worked on hurricane repairs and I called company #1 again to get things rolling. The salesman gave us an astronomical quote, said they would require 1/3 down and wouldn't be able to start for another 3 months even after taking our money. I contacted company #2 for a quote, made an appointment and they stood us up. I contacted company #3 and they didn't call me for 2 months, so I didn't want to use them. We decided that we needed to get things moving to get the sun room built before the heat of summer would prohibit us from keeping our cat in the garage, so we agreed to use company #1. We drove an hour to their office to sign the contract and the salesman changed the price on us when we got there, so we walked. I was having a sick feeling while there like we were doing the wrong thing anyway. I was almost in tears as we left, but at the same time, felt a sense of relief that we didn't sign a contract with them. We contacted company #4 and they came out and measured and sent us a drawing of a gabled room, which we liked. Company #4, like company #1 was going to build out of aluminum. I just couldn't get used to thinking about having chunks of aluminum attached to my house. We later went to a friend's house who has a screen room made of hardiplank. I told my husband that I wanted hardiplank to match the house like my friend had, except I also wanted windows on my room. Soon after that, I went on the BBB's website and that's when I found Bob the Builder's website. I saw all the great reviews and great pictures and couldn't believe he said no money down. Was this too good to be true? I yelled for my husband to come quick to look at the website. I told him I wanted to check this out, because I may have stumbled onto the answer to my prayers. My husband e-mailed Bob and Bob took time out of his busy schedule to come out and look at our yard. Bob also said we could have a gabled room, which is what we wanted. We knew immediately that we wanted him to build our room and I had such a great feeling about it. I then realized that when company #1 changed the price on us and we walked, it was because God had something better in store for us and that was Bob. When construction finally began, Bob and his crew were so nice and did a great job. If Bob didn't like something, he changed it to make it look nicer. Bob put a floodlight outside the room near our BBQ pit area so that we could have light out there, because the original patio light was now going to be inside the room. We hadn't even thought about that. Bob went above and beyond to make everything nice. I felt such a peace about having him and his guys here for a week building the room. They worked so hard and I never really saw them take breaks. When the room was finished, my husband tiled it and my cat is now out there, using the litter box 100% of the time, loving his new room. He has an a/c and heater unit, ceiling fan and the windows slide open to screens, so on a nice day, he can look out at the birds without getting out. I volunteer with an animal rescue group and have told all my animal loving friends about Bob and now some of them want a "cat room" for their cats. I would definitely recommend Bob and his crew to anyone. I couldn't be more happy. I can rest peacefully at night now.

If you want a patio cover built onto your house that looks like it belongs, you need to look no further than Houston Patio Covers and Bob Hamilton and his crew. We had bought a new house, that had already been built, but it did not have a cover over the small patio on the back corner. This arrangement was not very useful, being exposed to sun and rain. We searched out several contractors and got quotes all over the place. Some didn't even want to take on the job.
I found out about Bob Hamilton when I searched the BBB and read all of these outstanding reviews. I decided to give him a chance. I called him and told him the square footage and gave a description of the project. He came out to the house and confirmed the quote he had given me over the phone. The project involved matching a ridge line plus two different roof slopes. He said that our cover would be no problem to build and would only take 3 to 4 days. As he describes in his website the framing is the key to a good job, and they know what they are doing. His crew (Roberto, Arturo and Melvin) and all of the material was delivered to the house and four days later the cover was completed to our total satisfaction. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it.
I give them my full recommendation.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Bob and his crew. We have worked with a handful of contractors in our 7 years as homeowners, and working with Bob was an experience unlike any other. He was prompt, courteous, and straightforward. There were no unknowns or surprises, other than how amazing our backyard looks now; it has really exceeded all our expectations. He called to check in every morning to let me know whats going on and to see if I had any questions. Our patio cover is everything we wanted and more, and would not hesitate to recommend Bob to anyone, anytime.

I recently lost my husband to a tragedy. We had discussed so many times installing a patio cover on our 2 story home. My husband had ideas of just how he wanted it done. My very first call was to Bob Hamilton at Houston Patio Covers. I asked him to meet me at my home so I could relay to him my husbands wishes for the cover. He came by promptly and liked my husbands ideas. He also donated the labor and materials in honor of my husband and the Houston Police Department and all officers that give their lives daily. What a blessing. Bob said it would only take 4 days to install the cover, they started on Monday and were finished on Thursday. This cover looks like the builder installed it when the home was first built. The crew were very professional, very cordial and cleaned up every evening. I would highly recommend this company. Bob is the greatest, so is his team.

We were building a new home and always wanted a large covered patio. The prices we were quoted by the builder to put a covered patio on the house seemed outrageous to me. So, I called Bob before our house was even built and asked him to give me an estimate...it was nearly HALF of the builders quoted price. I was SOLD! The experience of having Bob and his team in our home for a week was like no other contractor experience we have ever had. They were polite, timely, paid attention to detail, and were excellent carpenters!! Believe me, we are hard customers to please, and we couldn't be happier. I just wish Bob did more than patio covers!!

We contacted Bob Hamilton at Houston Patio Covers in April 2008 and found out that we would have to wait until August 2008 for his company to get started on our 2 patio covers and porch. We had heard such good things about them. We were going to get started in September, but Hurricane Ike hit and then everything was delayed. We finally got everything rescheduled for Feb. 2009 and we were so happy that we waited for Bob, because the work was outstanding. The quality was good and they finished the job in 5 days as promised. The quote sent in August was the same amount we paid in February and that shows integrity. Not one penny was asked for upfront. I would recommend them for any job that they can do, we are so pleased with the project. Bob kept us informed of everything going on, and we did not have to be on site very much, which was helpful. Great job Bob, thanks so much !

When we first decided we wanted a new patio cover installed, we called a few other places and they were either way too expensive or they never even followed back up with us. Bob had put a couple of decks in for me a decade or so ago and I really liked the work he did for us then. So after looking on the internet and finding his website, I dropped him an email and told him I was interested in him installing a new patio cover for me. And am I glad we did. Bob and his crew did an absolutely great job! We are thoroughly satisfied with the work that was done. Top notch. Used quality material all around. Didnt skimp on anything. Price was as quoted and nothing paid until the end. I would recommend Bob to anyone. Not only that, hes a great guy.

Happy New Year. We just wanted to let you know how wonderful our new back porch is. It was finished in time for the holidays and the whole family loved our new addition. Actually you cant even tell that the porch is not original to the house We have looked at it from all sides and its beautiful.
The professionalism of the workers was amazing kudos to the job supervisor he really knows he craft. He actually made his work look easy. His workers were very nice, polite and people that anyone would be proud to have at their residence.

We had a very large area that needed covering, and they did a fantastic job! We've gotten nothing but compliments from friends and family! We got a few bids before going with Bob, but I was not comfortable or impressed with anyone but him! He finished the job in the time frame he gave - which was very quick in my opinion! His crew was also great! They were respectful and cleaned up after themselves every day! To show how great his work was, it was still looking like new the day after hurricane Ike came through! That's right - nothing damaged on it at all! Highly recommend him! As a matter of fact, we're having him back for more work!

Bob and his crew did an incredible job. I wanted a patio or deck for a long time. He met me at my house, gave me options and explained that I would get the best use and value out of a covered patio. His crew completed the work in 4 days. They had great attention to detail. He gives great service for a very fair price. The shingles and paint match my house perfectly. It looks as if the patio came with the house. He even came back 2 weeks after finishing the job to install my 2 fans. And you don't pay him anything until he's finished. I would recommend him to anyone.

We've had our patio for a couple of months and couldn't be happier. My husband works in construction and even he was amazed at the quality of Bob's work; Bob does not cut corners and the end result is a quality patio, both in terms of construction and appearance My Dad joked that our house may blow down in a hurricane, but the patio would still be standing.
When we initially considered getting a patio, we were concerned that the shingles and paint wouldn't match. However, our patio blends in so well it's hard to tell where the house ends and the patio begins.
Bob got approval from the HOA, making things very easy on us, and the job was completed in a week. I highly recommend him.

My old patio cover was destroyed during hurricane IKE. After talking with several contractors, I found Houston Patio Covers website. I talked with Bob, the owner, and told him I liked one of the covers I saw on his website. He gave me an estimate within two days and helped me with the HOA approval. The patio was started within two weeks of HOA approval and completed in four days. Bob was on the job site everyday. His crew is very hardworking and worked each day from early morning to dark without stopping. The patio turned out great and was exactly what we wanted. The price was exactly what was on the estimate. Bob and his crew are very professional and their work is top notch. You don't pay anything until the job is done and you are satisfied. I would recommend Houston Patio Covers to anyone without hesitation.

I had been wanting a Patio cover for some time, I found Bob on the Internet and when I saw the pictures of his work I now knew what I wanted, he was gracious enough to come out to my house and showed up at the exact time he said he would! Impressed me right then and there!! He was kind enough to start my job earlier since I wanted prior to Thanksgiving, we set up a date and his workers were great! Roof, Patio cover and cement all turned out great and no left overs in my yard. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Bob and his crew.

We purchased a new house without a patio. We debated on how best to add something to the house - deck, patio, etc. We decided that we wanted something that looked like it came with the house - not an add on. Bob and his group built out the house so that the patio cover looks like it came with the house. Shingles, brick, etc. all match the original house.
Bob and his group did a fine job and we highly recommend them.

Bob and his crew said they would build a patio cover that exactly matched our home, and they absolutely delivered. The workmen were professional, tidy and delivered the project on time. The best thing about Bob is that you don't pay until the project is done. That should give any prospective customer the comfort of knowing the job will get done to their satsifaction.

I just had a patio cover built by Bob Hamilton earlier this year. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Even though I had to wait almost 3 months from the time I inquired with him to have my cover built, once he started the project, he was finished in 5 days. It was well worth the wait.
Bob's price was not the cheapest in town but definitely not the most expensive either. I received 3 different quotes and Bob's was the most affordable and turned out great.
This patio cover looks as if it was part of my house all along. Bob mentioned to me that he was experienced in building things that were strong because of his time in the northern part of the US with the bad winters and snow pack. I guess if its strong enough to withstand 10 inches of snow, it can handle a CAT 2 hurricane. cover. I did not lose a single shingle off the roof of my patio cover during the recent storm.
Thank you Bob Hamilton for building a great patio cover that will be enjoyed by my family for many years to come!

I hired Houston Patio Covers to build a 14 by 26 foot patio cover on the back of my house. The owner, Bob Hamilton, is a conscientous businessman and true to his word. His employees were hard working, respectful, and very good at what they do. They finished the job in 4 days and did a great cleanup job before they left. The patio cover looks as if it were built as part of the house. The paint and brick were matched perfectly.
Bob was quick to respond to my phone calls and continued to respond quickly and answer some questions for me and my windstorm engineer even after he had been paid. I could not be more pleased with the patio cover, and I'm happy to say that though I had a little damage to the roof of my house due to Hurricane Ike, the patio cover was in perfect condition!
