Four of us arrive at Suite well healed. My physician friend is taking us out to celebrate his just announced engagement. We were told that to enter we were to purchase a table and a bottle per couple, for a minimum of $600. For New Years Eve that's one thing, but for a regular night and it being somewhat early, (there was no crowd and the parking lot was near empty) I just wonder what gives. Attractiveness can be arbitrarily judged, but if we arrive well dressed, and there is room, then our business should be appreciated. No Sweat

Pros: Location

Cons: Crazy Prices

Starting with the doorman and his pretend "list", I looked at the sheet of paper that was nearly blank. We flat out could not get in which was interesting because I KNOW my name was on some type of list because my friend put in a call to one of the owners. Using the owners names were not enough, he told us they would have to come up to him and tell him to let us in. Ridiculous! I have NEVER been turned away in my life from getting inside a club. I was embarrassed standing out in the cold rain with my out of town guest. I will NEVER go back or even try to trust I am on the fake "list" again. There are other options in Dallas that are better and don't make you feel like your not worthy to enter. I am an attractive woman, and I make plenty of money. I cannot wait for this club to go under!

I have been going to Suite with my girlfriends for about a year and half and have never really had any issues...until about a week and a half ago. Last time I was there, one of my girlfriends had an obnoxious drunk guy trying to touch her inappropriately so when she told him to back off he proceeded to put his hand up her dress. Obviously, this made her extremely upset and when she went to defend herself (merely yelling at the guy). The door guy came over to her and warned that if she didn't calm down he was going to throw her out. Are you f'ing kidding me?!?!?! A girl practically gets molested and SHE gets asked to leave??? I'm sorry, I DO NOT think I'm being unreasonable here when I say that the guys should have been the one getting the warning!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

Needless to say, because of this my friend and I will NEVER be going back!!!

Pros: DJ is good

Cons: Very sexist and chauvinistic DB's running the place.

Before my female friend Amanda could ask me over myspace today, "Hey you! how are you today? Any big plans for the weekend?", I totally had to think in retrospect how awesome SUITE was last night. Our party of 5 arrived about a quarter to 11pm. The parking lot virtually empty, we're the only 1's in line. Now when I say this, I mean, I thought a Tour Bus of Party Goer's from around Dallas just arrived, because no sooner, than a half hour passes, my buddy Mike, who put us on the list as his party, go outside, comes back in, an says, "There's a line out there! Like no joke! I come here regularly and figured the line would've been here before we got here, but its here now!"....A rush of people just began flooding the place, and it was like an amusement park, the DJ played everyone's favorite song, and I didn't even have to hear it twice...I read the comments before about the door guyz and some of the bottle service complaints...well those instances are certainly circimstantial...the door guy ain't partying with you, and if you ain't crippled, don't pretend a waitress will always be able to poor you'r drinks for you especially when there is 700 other people buddy bumping their asses into her while she pours....be realistic...OH YEAH I FORGOT, I'VE NEVER BEEN FREAKED BY SO MANY BEAUTIFUL WOMEN FROM AROUND THE WORLD IN ONE PLACE, AT ONE TIME, AND ALL AT ONCE, AND I'M FROM LOS ANGELES, WHERE I'VE BEEN IN THE CELEBRITY CLUB SCENE (HOTEL ROOSEVELT, STANDARD HOTEL; hint: if you want to find a star in Los Angeles randomly on a Tues.- Thurs. scene, pick a Berverly Hills, Hollywood, or Downtown 4-5 star hotel louge)A ND A COUPLE LOW-KEY PLACES WHERE NOTHING BUT THE STARS PARTY AND ITS ALWAYS PRIVATE AND THE WOMEN ARE ALWAYS APPROACHABLE), BUT LITERALLY, SUITE MADE ME FEEL NOSTALGIC...THANK YOU SUITE...

Pros: Starliscious-Dampier blocked the XJR with his Cadillac

Cons: CROWDED!-if you don't like that stuff, get bottle service

.

Went with a large group and got a table so avoided the door wait. Door man was a pretty cool guy that used to work at Zaza. We had a table set up and our waitress was cute. She was unfortunately incompetent. Brooke had to be told 3 times that I wanted to close my tab and that no one else was to put anything on the tab. She also only made & served 2 drinks from the Vodka bottle that we bought. Her included tip was around seventy dollars. Suite is a waste of your time and money though since it is a "in" spot right now there is pretty good people watching.

Pros: Beautiful people, in-spot of the moment

Cons: Poor service, over-priced

I have been to Suite Multiple occasions, even bought a bottle, and the last couple of times I've been have just gotten worse and worse. My experience last night was by far the worst! I had a client come into town last night and asked me to take him to the most hip place I knew in Dallas, so I decided we would go to suite. The worst decision! We pulled up at around 12, the parking lot was basically empty, considering I seen the valets on multiple occasions having to turn way people because of no space. We get to the front of the rope, where the door guy was with his "LIST", he asked me who I was with, and why so I told him, " I"m here with a client from out of town just trying to show him a good time... " Mind you this was business and I'm a woman. He looked at me and said, "twenty dollars each and I'll let you in." UMMMM NO! I asked him if he was serious and he said yes! How embarrassing it was to have my business client standing next to me while I'm getting turned away from the same lounge that I have spent large amounts of money multiple times! THE PARKING LOT WAS EMPTY, WHY WOULD HE NEED ME TO PAY HIM MONEY TO GO IN THERE!!!??? Rule #1 You should never turn away a return customer! Such a shame! I'm not going back and I'm also making a call to management today! Completely uncalled for!

Pros: There are no pros... The place has gone to S***

Cons: The Doorman! Seriously your LOOSING business!

.

last night, i went to suite for the first time, the line was short and the doorman was rather charismatic and friendly. me being a young man not dressed all that sharp expected having issues getting through the door... not at all, i was greeted with open arms... i mean perhaps other factors were at play, the 3 girls i was with or perhaps the door guy comes in to my place of work at least once a week.. beats me. im sure that had some play but he could of surely turned me around but did not. with all that aside... the evening was rather enjoyable, the place was packed but well ventilated and cool to my surprise. the crowd seemed a little older then for my comfort, late 20's females and your a-typical-graphic tee 30 something male. all the patrons were nice and everyone just seemed to be having a good time. the bar has a respectable beer list, although the bar was swamped from time to time, not due to service wanting patrons but campers leaning on the bar... overall it was a good time and ill most likely go back.

Cons: Nothing really... was a good time.

I think the editorial description is way off. "Elegant atmospher and high-end cocktails." Well, let me tell you about our recent experience with this place. First of all, I agree with all the reviews about the "CIA-wannabe" doorman who acts as though this is some exclusive place to be at and that the rest of us are minions. Well, news for you- you're a doorman! Anyhow, we had bottle service and guess where our table was? One the ledge by the stairs, to accomdate 10 of us. We practically had to share another table with another party! It was ridiculous given the amount we spent on bottle service compared to other upscale places such as Suite claims to be. It was our first time there, and definitely did not meet our expectations! There was absolutely NO dancing room and don't get me started on when they started turning on the fog machine. Talk about SUFFOCATION!! Now on to the doorman, they were the most rudest people I have ever had the opportunity of coming across! They acted as though we were invisible and seemed like they would only talk to us if we looked "rich"? If you're not going to let us in, just tell us and we'll be gladly to take our party somewhere else. Even Ghostbar is not so exclusive and definitely has a better atmosphere. To sum things up, we will NEVER choose to come back to Suite if ever given a choice. This place is horrible and we should have figured given our first brush with the arrogant, low-class doormens. Giving this place a one-star is being very generous, but there was no choice for a 0 star.

This doorman is extremely rude!! I went to this lounge with so much anticipation and told 24, yes 24 people to meet me at this club. I was there with my gf and another couple..the next people in line to get in. We stood in line for AN 1 HOUR 20 MINS and he wouldn't let us in. I tried to be patient since I had so many people coming and I even understand allowing females in, but any place that has a aZZ of a doorman that only wants you to pay him so he can pocket it (even though it supposedly free-BS). These people need to realize that this is Dallas...NOT LA, NOT MIAMI, NOT Las Vegas! Even when I went to these cities I was able to get in. Don't claim a location as being free if its not. I don't mind paying the actual lounge, but I will not pay the doorman to put it in his pocket!! So I ended up leaving, called all my 24 friends and told them to go to WISH-and had a ton of fun!! PEOPLE DO NOT GO TO SUITE IT WILL SCREW UR WHOLE NITE!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to this place several times and had no problem getting in.... Untill the last time I went the C*^% su*ker at the front door that thinks he is some secret service agent was only letting in Females which is understandable. He always holds this little clip board that is supose to be some list for ppl with reserations but thats bullsh*& its not a list for certain ppl or members....... He trys to tell guys some random @ss number that he can pocket so he can make more than his salary $40 a nite. Im not trying to sound bitter or like a lil Bi*#@ but I have been a member at Candle for 3 years and couldnt even get in this place. If you can get in you will have a good time but seriously the fu*%er at the front door RUINS your buz along with your WHOLE NITE.

Never been to such a fake >*&% place in my life. The line to get in wasn't long and we had a table anyway. The skinny chump at the front door acted like he was something special and was completely rude (TO THE WRONG PERSON :) When we got settled at our "table" we were cramped and it smelled like a babies diaper. The staff looked like they either dabbled in too much nose candy or have been on steroids since birth. Needless to say they were rude as well (can't blame them -too many d*ugs plus incompetence= suite staff) To beat it all I waited in line to go to the back bathroom and the staff was promoting coke use like it was legal. TO SUM IT UP TRASHY BAR FULL OF TRASHY PEOPLE. If you like nose candy and terrible service this is your place.

Pros: Our botlle of grey goose was empty so we got to leave

Cons: terrible service, smelled like rott#n eggs, staff and guest visibly doing c*caine in public

.

I did see a line but didn't have to wait long. I was able to get access to VIP and thought that would be great. NO. Their VIP is in a dungeon that reeks of bad eggs, their DJs did not spin anything original or that sounded different from any other club in Dallas or elsewhere. The people (guests) and bartenders were extremely rude! I even saw bouncers ignoring blatant signs of aggressiveness from troublesome guests and instead, making trouble with folks just attempting to get drinks at the bar. There were even police officers outside that were hanging all over the girls going in and out of the club. I thought the service was TERRIBLE, and they treated their VIP guests like sh**. My brother is a record exec in LA, so I've been able to go to some of the best clubs in the nation - this doesn't even make it in the top 50.

I will say that the layout of the main area of the club was cool and the dancefloor was decent. But even then, the atmosphere sucked and the music was worse. If you like being treated like sh**, go here! If you like to deal with overgrown bouncers who are unnecessarily aggressive and hopped up on steroids, this is your place. Also, DJs who can't even loop a song to make a clean mix. Yikes. The club owner must have a LOT of money in order to keep this place open - but evidently not enough to hire a decent staff.

Pros: Good location in uptown

Cons: Parking, service, smells bad, atmosphere, music

I'm from NY and have been to some bada** venues there. Dallas' only bar/club that can compete with NY's best. There's an actual dance floor, for dancing, not this loungy layout most other venues favor, where people just stand around looking at each other, schmoozing, analyzing, assessing. Loose yourself in the kickin' beats all night. People go there to dance, so you won't feel out of place dancing, like most other places in Dallas. Drinks are pricier, with good reason. Know someone, be on a list, or dress to the nines. Toughest door I've ever encountered.

The bottle service was pricy, but the service made it all worthwhile. I heard they fly all their DJ's in from LA... I'm not sure if that's true, but its the best music I've heard in Dallas. The space is small, but a great layout... perfect for dancing. It honestly makes you feel like you're not even in Dallas, maybe New York or even another country. Will definitely be back.
