The Little Gym, Preston & Forest

My kiddos have been a part of Little Gym for the past five years. My older daughter started at the Mockingbird location when she was just eighteen months old and later transfered to Preston/Forest when it opened six months later. We had just moved from Houston, which at the time did not have anything like it. My first thought was that I wished that she had been enrolled at an earlier age. She has loved going to The Little Gym ever since. As a matter of fact ,a couple of months after joining we had her second birthday party there as well. The Little Gym has provided the foundation for her strong gymnastics skills now (her skills were so strong that she was asked to join a gymnastics team.....she is one of the youngest children on the team).

When my younger daughter was born, I was so excited to enroll her! She has loved the classes ever since. We even did her second birthday party there as well; she enjoyed every moment of it! Her teachers have been Mr. Joel, Ms. Rachel, and Mr. Armondo. They are all fabulous! Of course, Mr. Joel would not hire a teacher who was any less than exceptional! All of the staff is well trained and know how deal with children. My younger daughter can not wait to go every week. She will take a new endeavor this year by entering a Little Gym Pre-School class w/o a parent.

Little Gym has been a great outlit for both of my children as well as myself. We have met many wonderful mothers and children there who we still keep in contact with even five years later.

Pre K gymnastics, Toddler gym/gymnastics and really all ages ( up to 12 ) Kid gymnastics. The kids have soo much fun too! My friends teacher told us about this alternative to day care or mommies day out facility. You can even do infant gymnastics with your new born to stimulate your new childs mind. What a great place! Privately owned and franchise operated, they really care about your kids and their development right here in Dallas.

My kids love Mr. Joel and the whole Little Gym staff! The Pre-K classes are terrific -- my kids have learned gymnastics without being intimidated! The facility is clean and you can see the kids everywhere. We've had such a positive experience. If you've never heard of it -- get your kids there quick!

Pros: Great instructors, Clean facility, Great bathrooms (!), Kids love it
Cons: Parking -- sometimes you have to compete with the old ladies next door!
