Julie Thomas has worked in large salons for over 17 years but wanted to give more care and attention to her clients. In April, 2006 the doors of J Salon opened inside the Courtyard Salons in Round Rock. It has become Julie's purpose to better serve her clients and to provide a more personal, comfortable, and private atmosphere in her Round Rock salon. She is a Master Colorist who uses only the gentlest products on her clients' hair. Her focus is to give you the look you want all while keeping your hair healthy by using less damaging color products. You can trust Julie at J Salon for all of your hair care needs, from a simple cut to a color correction. Appointments are available during regular business hours as well as evenings and weekends. She always gives me the most natural looking highlights. I've actually had relatives ask if I have any grey hair yet. I proudly told them, "Yes, I just had my color done." Julie has been doing my hair since 1996, so I can honestly say she is the best! I am so glad she is in Round Rock now, too. Julie's salon offers a personal, relaxing atmosphere. As a mom of two boys, it is nice to retreat to such an environment. Even though I am a creature of habit, she always takes the time to listen to what I might want to change, and will equally offer suggestions. She really goes out of her way to cater to my needs; even if it is a special product or accessory I am looking for. Her fun personality and attention to detail make her the perfect match for me. :) Pros: Awesome highlights, personal attention and never rushed, ever. Cons: Are you kidding me? She knows what she is doing and provides great customer service. Being very picky with my hair, I am so thankful I have finally found someone that can meet my high expectations and standards. She always listens to what I want and remembers what I like everytime I go in. She ALWAYS does a fantastic job. She is very caring and a wonderful person. I have brown hair and she always makes the highlights look so natural and blended. Julie also does a great job trimming my bangs. So I was nervous about trusting another one. She was professional, it's a private room, she took the time she needed to communicate my needs, My hair looks awesome, just what I wanted without damage! She takes a credit card, also you can get your Mary Kay while you get your hair fixed!
