Tommy removed some overgrown bushes for me and during the process one of his helpers accidentally damaged an underground sprinkler pipe. I didn't realize it was damaged until Tommy left so I called him to let him know. He came back within 30 minutes and then contracted a repair man to fix the broken pipe the same day at no cost to me. Tommy makes sure the job is done right, and if it's not he will come back and fix it. Give him a call, you won't be sorry.

I called several places and they were too high and too busy to get out here quickly. I had a tree break and it was resting on my main power line going to my house.
Tommy came out the morning after I called, quoted a great price, and completed the work within three hours. He cut a lot of trees out and raked up the mess. I would recommend him highly!

I called Tommy on a Sunday afternoon after a Spainish Oak had split and twisted, falling agianst my house. He came out and secured the tree, promising to be back the next morning with his tools and help. He had all of the right tools--not stuff you'd buy at Home Depot. He know how to handle the tricky job of taking down this tree leaning on my house, without harming the house. He made valid and useful suggestions.
Further, Tommy did it all for a very reasonable fee.
He's a good guy, and he knows what he's doing.

Tommy gave me a great estimate, and honored the deal 100%.

He made sure I was comfortable with everything throughout the entire process...very reassuring.

His tree-man was extremely experienced...making it look like an art form. He dropped large pieces of the tree that was hanging over my house with precision, making no damage to my house or yard.

His guys were clean cut and sober, and they left no mess whatsoever.

Tommy showed up when he said he would, he did the work he said he would and he charged the price he said he would. Simply a pleasure to work with!

I am very happy with Tommy's work on my small job. Even so, he came right away to do the estimate, was by far the best bid I received and they were able to do the job within two days of the estimate. The work was done correctly and except for the tree being trimmed as I asked, I couldn't tell they had been on the yard.

Tommy delivered a quote that was 50% better than the other two outfits that bid on my Oak trimming and yard clean up. He arrived on time, worked straight through to completion and left everything cleaned up and looking as it should. Tree work was fantastic, with cuts correctly painted to seal out bacteria.

I had called a couple other services here in a town and was really unsatisfied with the quotes I received, including a day rate only quote. I decided to go back online for some reviews and I'm so glad I did. I found Tommy here on Citysearch, read all the glowing reviews and gave him a call. He answered right away, came over that afternoon and handled the job the next day. He even helped out my neighbor with a few of her trees as well. The work is quality, his crew cleaned up nicely and I'll gladly use his services again when I need them. I highly recommend him.

I needed a couple of trees in my front and back yard trimmed. Tommy called me back within an hour, came to my house that afternoon, and knocked out a good chunk of the work himself right then. He came back the next day and finished up while I was at work. Easiest job like this I've done in a while, and the price was excellent. I'm very pleased.

They took down a large, old ash tree that was hanging over my house and had other branches intertwined in electrical wires. They did an amazing job! Absolutely nothing was damaged and they removed all debris. In addition, they are very polite and friendly. I will definitely have them return to work on my other trees when needed.

Tommy gave us a reasonable quote and did the work the same day. His team worked hard throughout the day, and did a very thorough job trimming our trees. They cleaned up everything nicely, and he made a conscious effort to ensure I was satisfied with his work. I'll be using Tommy next time, and I'd recommend him for you too.

I had a project which required 20 medium sized trees to be cut down along with having the stumps grinded within 3 days before a big event . I chose Tommy's Tree Service because of the reviews and experience he brought to the job. Tommy's quote was very reasonable and showed up on time as expected. I called Tommy after reading all these Citysearch reviews and I'm very glad I did. Tommy came over immediately and quoted me a very good price for all the work that he needed to do the trees around our house and in our backyard. He did an amazing job the very next day, raising the canopy and cleaning up the dead branches in our backyard. I'll definitely be using him again in the future!

I called Tommy after I read poor reviews about another tree company who had already come out to my house and had given me an estimate. Tommy came over at the time he said he would and gave me a lower quote than the 1st company, and he was going to do a lot of extra work all over the property! We shook hands and he came back with his equipment in 1 hour and was finished in 1.5 hours with no help! He removed 2 dead trees and trimmed all the overgrown trees in the front and back of my property. He cleaned up all the branches and leaves; there was no mess left behind.

Tommy is hard working, honest, and friendly. He's been doing this for over 40 years and is very experienced. I will use him again in the future. I highly recommend him.

Tommy quoted me a fair price compared to what some of the other tree cutting services offered. He showed up on time to give me a free quote opposed to the other company that was four hours late to give me a quote. He said he could start work the next day, but called me an hour later and said he could get it done that afternoon. He and his crew were friendly and efficient. I would recommend his service to anyone.

tommy is a man of his word,.What he says he will do, he does. He has never done work for either of the 2
people that wrote the bad reviews. He has never heard of either one.Tommy's tree service is reliable

Tommy provided me with some basic grubbing and tree and stump removal for my front and backyard. The quote was reasonable and he completed the work in a day. There were a few items that needed attention after the job was done, but he said he would come back the next day and he did. Tommy is a handshake deal sort of guy, which is how I prefer to do business for these types of services. If the contractor fully honors my request, then he will earn my business again. He kept his promise and certainly met my expectations. In my opinion, Tommy did an excellent job.

Okay folks there is a reason he has this many GREAT reviews!!!! Tommy and Major did and exceptional job on our trees. I called him on a Monday afternoon (2pm) and he was at my house by 3:30 the SAME DAY!!!! We had a tree that was destroying the front edge of our house (builder should have taken it out when we built...but the didn't) so it had to be removed. Tommy and major came out and removed the whole tree and then for a little extra trimmed all the trees in the front yard!!!!! I wish I could post a picture my yard looks so nice. ABC pest and lawn was out at the same time (ant problem) she suggested I get them to remove the limbs that were hanging over and touching the house and they did it.....no problem....no extra charge. We have about 10 live oaks in the front and now it just looks like this great big canopy over the front lawn. I don't know what the reviewer who gave them a ONE STAR was smokin' that day but you'd be a fool to go elsewhere. All the reviews about Tommy's business demenor (handshake deal) are spot on. I tried to pay him at least half (he had to come back the next day to do the clean up) and he said "No"! We have more trees in the back and will have him come back in the fall to do those. GO WITH TOMMY YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!

The high wind broke 1/3 of the Bradford pear tree off last week. I found Tommy with the most positive reviews on Austin City search and decided to give him a call. Tommy answered his phone right away and came out to give me quote the same day. He's a very informal guy - agreement with a handshake (some people may be uncomfortable with that). We agreed on the scope of work and a price over the phone - I didn't even have to take time off work, and he got the job started that same afternoon. Finished it the next day. He and his crew did a very good job and cleaned up beautifully. I'm having him come back tomorrow to trim my other trees.

I read all the reviews out here on Citysearch. I was impressed to see all the positive feedback on Tommy. I called Tommy. He came out the same day and gave me a quote. Nothing in writing--he is not that formal--he only does handshakes. He promised to start the job the following week, Friday rolled around and he never showed up. I called and he said he would come out that Saturday and Sunday and complete the job. Saturday and Sunday came and went and no Tommy. It's been 4 weeks and he has failed to do the job.

He is a nice man, but if you need your job done in a timely and professional manner, I would recommend another avenue.

After the storms this week, it was hard to find a tree service that could come help me as I had a large limb that broke into the street. Tommy was quick to respond and did a beautiful job with getting the whole limb down and cleaning up the debris. His price was very reasonable as well.

We're getting our house ready to sell and noticed Tommy's crew doing tree trimming across the street. We had some broken branches in the tree in the front yard and droopy branches that needed to be removed before listing the house on the market, so I gave Tommy a call

He came out the the next day after I called him to give an estimate and got the work done the day after that. He and his team may look a bit grizzled, but they are friendly, top flight professionals who do good work at a fair price.

We have a lot of trees and they hadn't been trimmed in over 10 years. Tommy got the job done in about 8 hours (including removing trees) and was very thorough, including the clean-up. Our house looks much better. Our trees and landscaping will probably be healthier. We couldn't have done it ourselves. We don't have the eye or the equipment for this kind of work. It was money well spent.

Tommy did a great job! I called him based on the reviews I read on this site and he lived up to all of them. He trimmed way more than I expected, but still honored the original price he gave me and it was all cleaned up before he left. My neighbor and I contacted Tommy based on the reviews seen on this sight. Tommy's price was very reasonable and the work was outstanding! He trimmed all of the trees in both yards, sealed all cuts, and cleaned up the yard. We are extremely please with the results and will use this company again! We highly recommend this company!

Great experience with this company! We had some scheduling problems with the initial consultation, but after we got the quote, they were here immediately and did an incredible job. The price was awesome and less than any other quote we received. We had tons of pecan trees that were a mess and they were super fast, did everything we had discussed and more for the same quoted price. It really was a fantastic experience. Couldn't give a higher recommendation!

We called him on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, during the Texas/OU game, and he came out with his assistant and made an estimate on our huge job. We have a 50 foot tree that's falling apart, limb by limb and the next ones will be on our house. He came out to give us his etimate and kept a happy face even when he was being eaten by insects. His price was the most reasonable and we had the job estimated by several people. I am excited to work with him. I know I sound like a commercial, I'm not even on camera.

I have two trees, one in the front of my house and one in the back. I needed some of the low braches cleared from the roof and over the driveway and when I called Tommy for an estimate and he was at my house within two days. I did not have to deal with voice mail or an answering service. All calls go directly to his mobile phone. He wasn't even upset that I called at 8am! When I decided to go with him he was there the next day and his estimate was almost $125 less than some of the other places I had come out for an esitmate. He and his partner were fast, informative and did exaclty what I asked. They even cleaned up the yard before they left. I would use his services again!

I needed a dead tree removed from the front yard. Tommy called me hours after submitting an email request for an estimate. He came on a Sat., gave me a very reasonable quote for such a dangerous job and said he could do the work that day. I hired him on the spot, the crew showed up, took the tree down, cleaned up the mess, all in under 3 hours. They are a great bunch of guys, worked very hard and were concerned about how happy we were with the service. They are not flashy or professional arborist types, but they do excellent work. I plan on having them back to do some pruning and another tree removal. I did first consult with an arborist to advise me on what to have done, but could not afford the price. These guys came in at 1/2 the price and really did a fantastic job. I am very pleased with the results!

Normally, we don't rate companies on this site, but this is definitely worth the exception. A huge storm was moving into town and we had several large limbs hanging on a house we just purchased. I called several places in town and it was going to be weeks before someone could even do an estimate. When I called Tommy, he answered immediately, was out at our house in 2 hours, and bid and completed the job in just under an hour for a very reasonable price. Great job Tommy and thank you for your quick response!

Tommy came out the same day I called for the estimate and performed the most urgent task immediately, returning the next day to address the rest of the work. The project included thinning out a pecan tree whose branches were stressed, clearing my roof of low hanging branches and removing dead limbs from several other trees. The cleanup was thorough and my yard looks great!

Tommy and his staff were out to give an estimate the day after I called them. They were among the cheaper bids I had received for a fairly large amount of work (their quote was less than half the cost of Brent's tree service!) and had the most experience of all the people I had spoke to. They were also very helpful in providing input as to what would look best on our property. They completed everything in a timely manner and didn't request any payment until the job was completed. I would call them again.
