Books in the Hood is "more than a bookstore". It's the neighborhood's Educational Resource Center. Besides educational books, puzzles and toys, the store offers all genre of literature for all ages. Special events occur monthly!
Books in the Hood is a multicultural bookstore located in the "South Bronx", offering new and used books.

A wonderful little place where you can put a face to the people who write the books - you meet authors and get their signature! It's a gem of a place and much needed in the neighbor"hood". Books-In-The-Hood provides everyone with good literature, culture and hospitality.

I really enjoy coming to Books in the hood and listening to authors reading and signing their books.
I think it's great that this small store offers a much need service to the South Bronx
