These guys are great. I took my van in because of the engine light went on. There was a problem with the catylitic convertor. The people at River Crest did some research on it, and found out there was a recall on it that I would have never known about. So, they called me and took it over to the Chevy Dealer across the street. Because it was a recall, the Chevy dealeer put a new convertor on it for free I will always take my vehicle here if there is anything I can't fix myself. Very, very honest!!!
I took a Ford Focus in to Rivercrest to solve an emissions related problem that has plagued it for several months culminating in a failed emissions test. I had previosuly taken it to 2 Ford dealerships where the advisors told me the exhaust manifold was probably clogged so it need to be removed or replaced. Rivercrest did an real analysis determining the differential pressure sensor was defective. These are honest, extremely competent technicians working at a reputable business. I'm glad I went to them!
Anyone who knows me, knows how anal I am when it comes to repairs on my vehicles. I want expert diagnostics and I want repairs done correctly the first time and at an honest price. That's why I drive from Janesville to Mukwonago, that's forty minutes, to have my vehicles serviced at Rivercrest. I was told about Rivercrest through a friend and I thank them for the lead everytime I see them. Do you want to know how to tell the quality of any establishment? Check out the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Rivercrest's bathrooms are spotless! They're cleaner than a lot of upscale restaurants I've been in. I think that says a lot about how a business is run. Rivercrest sets the standard for the automotive repair business. They will continue to have my business.
Best place I have ever taken my car for repairs. As a woman I never feel talked down to. I have never had a problem with a repair that was done. Great place, great people.
I have been getting service done to my vehicle at several different places the last few year to find a quality auto shop in the area. I stopped by to have a tire repaired at Rivercrest and also to have a diagnostic done on some noise that I was hearing. The guys at the shop told me exactly what was wrong with my tire, and fixed it quickly. They also told me that I had a small exhaust leak coming from my muffler. I had asked them I they could show me where exactly it was leaking from and they immediately took me to my car and showed me the problem. They also found that the front driver side bearing was going bad. I asked how you can tell and they showed me on my car exactly how they noticed it. They gave me an accurate and reasonable quote for the job (after comparing with other service shops in the area) and completed the job on time. I was very happy with the service they had completed. I had also asked them if they repaired mufflers (like the previous person had said) and they told me straight up that they replace and do not repair mufflers. So i don't think that person is correct on their comment.
These guys are the only ones I trust to fix my car correctly and not rip me off. Mike and staff have always told me up front what needed to be done, if it was worth doing, and had the repair done when promised for the cost given. They are also good at "squeezing me in" for a minor repair when they are very busy. I have been going here for years for Toyota, Volvo, Plymouth repairs and have NEVER had a problem.
Let me say that I have been taking my vehicle to RiverCrest for years. I have been completely satisfied with the service each and every time. They have always given me their honest opinion and have never been pushy. They properly diagnose my vehicle and fix it promptly. I am confident to say that they would never charge for a part that was not replaced. The staff has always gone way above and beyond for everyone in my family. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a good, honest, trustworthy establishment to take their vehicle with confidence. Eric G. obviously has mistaken RiverCrest for a different service shop.
Took a car there to get the muffler replaced. a few months later it needed to be replaced again, i just assumed it was me. I took it back again. A few months later it needed to be replaced. I took it to Midas. It turns out they had only been welding the muffler together, not replacing it like I paid for. Terrible service, Terrible business.
