Most delicious Korean BBQ in Los Angeles by far!! I kept seeing this restaurant in L.A. Weekly and finally decided to try it out. Lots of positive reviews online were also encouraging. The wait was not as bad as expected, about 45 minutes, not 2 hours. The wait staff was courteous and friendly.

The first thing I noticed that was different about this place was the stone grills instead of the usual metal grills that are ubiquitous at all Korean BBQ restaurants. Not only do these grills look kinda cool, but they bring out different flavors of the meats. I'm not sure if it's just the way they season the bbq meats or if it's the stone grills, but I'm sure the grills affect the taste. I was pleasantly surprised at the good taste of everything that came off the grill.

I loved the beef brisket, loved the Canadian fresh pork belly, loved the chicken and the kalbi and even the squid! I don't know if I was just especially hungry that day or if the food was that good. No, I've been to many KBBQ restaurants in my day and I usually go very hungry. This restaurant's bbq is just excellent...that in combination with the unique traditional Korean stone grill.

The waitress would come by often and she would clean our grill using daikon radish! Very effective and entertaining to watch.

By the time we were totally stuffed with this delicious barbecue feast, the waitress asked if we wanted kimchi fried rice. Kimchi fried rice?!? You kidding??!! There was no more room for that. Anyway, she made if for us right on the grill and we gave it a try. Even on a completely full stomach near bursting, it was super scrumptious!! Couldn't stop eating the delicious kimchi fried rice even though my belly was aching by this point. Next time, I'll leave more room for this delectable treat.

Would I recommend Hae Jang Chon for their Korean bbq that is deleicious and cheap? Definitely. It's a no brainer. Gotta go. This one's my favorite Korean BBQ place now.

This all you can eat Korean bbq restaurant is by far the best one in Los Angeles and in Koreatown. Nothing else compares! First of all, they include marinated and unmarinated short ribs (kalbi) in the 19 item all you can eat menu option which goes for a paltry $16.99! I don't know how they can make money charging so little for so much meat!

The marinated kalbi is amazing, the Canadian pork belly is tasty with the dipping sauces, the Black Angus beef brisket is tender and juicy and even their BBQ chicken is good! I usually pass on chicken, but I tasted some here and it was surprisingly mouth watering and delicious.

I was so stuffed after our hour and a half kbbq meat fest, but couldn't resist trying some of their famous kimchi fried rice afterwards. It is as tasty and scrumptious as everybody says it is. Wow! Next time I'll save some room for this signature fried rice.

The wait staff here is friendlier and attentive than at most Korean restaurants and the atmosphere inside is very pleasant with a young crowd.

All in all, my new fave all you can eat Korean barbecue restaurant in Los Angeles. Love it!

I love this Korean BBQ restaurant! In all of Koreatown Los Angeles, I'd have to say Hae Jang Chon is the hippest, best Korean food restaurant with the tastiest Korean bbq for the price. Their all you can eat menu is $16.99 and you get a lot more choices of barbecue meats than other kbbq places in Los Angeles. There are a total of 19 items (actually 21 since you can have marinated or unmarinated beef short rib, which are 2 completely different items, or thin or thick sliced Canadian fresh pork belly, again 2 very different items). The quality of the meat is very high, considering it is all you can eat. It is always fresh, melt in your mouth quality, not chewy or tough. By the time I am finished eating all that bbq meat, I wonder if $16.99 can even cover the cost of the meat. It is truly a bargain. Hae Jang Chon is also known for their very popular kimchi fried rice at the end of the all you can eat bbq meal. It is the perfect ending to an already delicious and satisfying meal. If you have never tried out Hae Jang Chon Korean BBQ, I highly recommend them as it is the Korean restaurant with the best value and best atmosphere to hang with your friends and enjoy some of the best Korean food anywhere in Los Angeles.

Hae Jang Chon is by far the hippest Korean BBQ restaurant in all of Koreatown Los Angeles. Gwen Stefani has been seen eating here with her crew, as well as famous Nobu chefs. The quality of the bbq is amazing, especially for all you can eat...and it's only $16.99! How is that possible? They even have all you can eat kalbi (marinated short ribs) my absolute favorite, included on the menu. This restaurant gets real busy on weekends, but luckily they stay open until 2:00 AM. That's the latest open all you can Korean barbecue restaurant in all of L.A. I believe. To sum up, $16.99 for great all you can eat Korean food at a cool Korean restaurant that's open late...this is the perfect spot for chowing down on grub after a hard night out on the k-town. It's my fave korean restaurant, period.

The service at this restaurant was absolutely horrible - the worst I have ever experienced at any restaurant that I have ever gone to - which is really saying something as we eat out at all the time. We, six of us, arrived at the restaurant on Saturday around 7 PM, and were told by the hostess that the wait would be no more than 1 hour. So, we put our names down, chatted and waited patiently until around 8:10 PM. At that time, we decided to ask when we could expect to be seated. The hostess indicated it could possibly take another 30 to 45 minutes, but that she could not say for sure. Confused, I asked to see where our name was listed in her book. I was insulted to see that parties with the same size party or larger were listed far below our party name (they either called in or came in after we did) and had already been seated before us. To make matters worse, the hostess insulted my intelligence by telling me the parties she listed after our party name had called in before we arrived at the restaurant, which is absolutely ridiculous as their party name would be listed before our party name. We will never go back to this restaurant after being treated so poorly - I have never experienced that sort of treatment in a restaurant ever!!

I love this place, after you eat your meat, they make kimchi fried rice.

Pork and marinated beef are delicious! They offer unlimited pork for $16.99. Great taste and friendly staff. Open until 2am. They just opened their website.
