.

We just visited for Memorial Day Weekend 2010. It was crowded as we expected, but didn't realize that the campsite areas would be so small and that each site was right on top of the other. The one building w/bathrooms had only two sinks, only 5 toilet stalls and only two showers. This was mostly for the non RV people which was about 16-20 campsites with a max of 8 people per site......? And seemed impossible to fit that many on each site anyways. No ventilation what so ever in the bathrooms! We would prop a trashcan on the door to vent some of the steam and smell out...gross! They did keep them clean and stocked w/paper towels and toilet paper. No view what so ever of the lake from these sites. The beach is extreamly small and all the Row A -RV people take each spot in front of their RV so it pretty much leaves you without any place to sit by the lake. If you have any guest coming in to visit with you even if it's just for an afternoon they require each person to pay camping fees for entry- 3 day minimum (on holidays) per person plus a fee to park their vehicle. There are some nice people that work at the campground but most are very rude. The only day that seemed better was on Monday when the crowds left. Overly crowed for a holiday weekend. We expected it and have been to other campgrounds on holiday weekends but this one was rediculous. WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE. Not worth the fees they charge for camping unless you go on off weekends or the middle of the burning summer. The photos on the website need to be updated to show the tent camping spots and possibly show the bathrooms. The bathrooms need some work. Don't think we will ever return. There are much better places on the lake.

Best camp ground in CA/Arizona. I have been going here for 5 years now and my kids love it. You can go swimming in Lake Havasu. The campground has a restaurant, store, and even a small golf course. The rates are reasonable and it's family oriented, which is nice. I would fully recommend this place.
