5 Stars: Thanks jon (by justin d.)

Took jon's advice and visited this place. You may need to call Alan in advance since he doesn't seem to keep any regular business hours. Totally worth it! Truly original. Alan is a character and gives you the whole run down. Best tourist merchandise in town, I spent all the cash I had on me at the time for a coffee mug and t-shirt.

5 Stars: Museum in North Beach (by jon f.)

I was walking in North Beach to Coit tower and saw a man sweeping. I saw the basement door was open, but it did not look like a typical basement. I asked the man "Alan" what is this place and he said that this is an americana museum. He let me walk thought this place and I could not believe the things that he has collected over the years. This place gave me memories of my grandpa's house. After the walk through I bought a souvenir signed their book.
