This Davids Bridal store is a joke! I bought my dress out of stock there. Even after we took home my dress they were constantly calling me about how I needed to come in and purchase a dress. I told them several times I already had and would appreciate if they'd stop calling. They told me they'd note that in my profile, obviously they never did. THEN I had later changed my colors and called and told them that. Few weeks later they tried telling me one of my bridesmaids ordered a yellow dress..I double checked and they were wrong. They also sent one of my bridesmaids home with the wrong shoes. They are exchanging them but that's besides the point. They dont LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMER. Very, very, very poor customer service. I DO NOT recommend buying your wedding dress from them! Or anything for that matter!

I wouldn't even give them half a star. My wedding is is less than ten days. I brought home my dress yesterday, to find 3 visible stains on it today. The woman told me she 'looked it up and down so they can't be that noticeable, and that happens, but only once in a blue moon. I live over an hour from here, and can't afford to drive back to have them clean it.

My mother and I were looking for a dress, and decided to go to DB. I am a plus size girl, so I figured DB would be a decent place to look. We made an appointment, and there were several people who walked in without one that were helped before us. We were then told that they were incredibly short staffed. The consultant helping me ended up helping myself and two other brides, so I was stuck standing in the dressing room for 20 minutes at a time.

The consultant never once pulled a dress at our budget or below. The closest to our budget she got was over $150! None f the sample dresses fit me, and we were told to get one ordered, it would take 15-18 weeks to get it there, and then 8 weeks of alterations! That let me have my dress a week before the wedding, and that was with few fittings.

Once I had tried on four or five dresses, she had decided we weren't going to buy, and said she had no more dresses to try on. I got dressed to go, and my mother found three more dresses that I ended up liking better than any she had put me in, but by that time, I think mom and I had both decided that we didn't need to buy from them. I ended up trying on three dresses without the help of the consultant.

I will not recommend DB to anyone, the service I had was horrible. We would ask the consultant a question and she would have no clue of an answer and had to go 'look in the computer'.

Where do I begin??? I would NEVER buy another item from this store!!! They are great at smooth talking the bride-to-be into making "the purchase", then BAM!!!...you are left with less than desirable service and merchandise with semi adequate quality.

I was never contacted when my dress was finished being altered. The day I went to pick it up they couldn't find it. After much searching they found it stuffed in the back room. Needless to say, it was full of wrinkles. When I put it on, the sides weren't even sewn together. There were six inch openings on each side of the dress and strands of thread dangling. The hemline was uneven (an inch difference on either side). They tried telling me it was my shoes! HELLO!!!!

I purchased a pair of heels to go with my dress. They dyed them to a lovely shade of cat urine that obviously didn't match the beautiful champaign color of my gown. I had to help myself when finding accessories, as the attendants in the store were clueless!!!

Don't purchase anything from this store unless you want poor follow up customer service and a lot of endless promises!!! Did I mention they lied to me about having my dress specially shipped in??? The floor model had been shipped to New York to meet the needs of a bride in a dire situation. So, I was given a brand NEW dress NEVER worn by anyone else! When in fact, my dress was the store model.

The policy at David's Bridal is...once you leave the store the dress is your problem!!! Unless you want the added stress of dress problems, find a real boutique to shop!! The sales representative that was selling me a bunch of lines, did just that! She went elsewhere to purchase her dress! I guess she knew what garbage she would be subjected to if she were to purchase from the store she represented!

The people working at headquarters are just as worthless as the other employees I encountered from this store!

Sorry to those employees that work there that are honest upstanding citizens. I just don't enjoy being taken for a ride!

Now on a positive note: If you want great customer service on tuxedos, invites, etc...MR. PENGUINS is the place to go! They are FANTASTIC!!! Two thumbs up for their quality products and EXCELLENT customer service!!!

I agree with the other comments. I went into David's Bridal just to look at a dress and ended up buying a dress. That first time I was there, the customer service was great; the consultant worked really well with me and was very informative with the dresses but she did get us to go above our budget and buy a more expensive dress. We then went back a second time to look at bridesmaid dresses the help was not terrible but it was not as good as the first time that we went. They just kept rushing us into a decision and we were not ready for that yet. We did choose a dress from them so we scheduled an appointment for two of the bridesmaids to get sized. We went to the appointment and they did not help up. I had to go pull dresses off of the shelf for the girls to try on. I was upset! I also had to go get the correct sashes for them to try because the lady had the wrong information on my account and did not want to fix it. I also scheduled an appointment for my sisters and so my mom took them to the appointment and they said that they did not have an appointment! I even got a confirmation phone call from a consultant confirming the appointment. I WAS IRATE! My mom and sisters had to try 2 hours for this appointment and they weren't even there for 10 minutes because nobody wanted to help them! I was ready to go to another store but we had already paid for 2 dresses so it was too late. They also kept calling me to get the bridesmaid dresses ordered and I really did not appreciate being rushed. I am very disappointed with David's Bridal!

I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed with the service I received at this store as a bride-to-be. It started out very well, with several staff members helping me try on and choose a dress. But it went downhill from there.
When I tried on my dress for the first time, it was not ready for me. They had just pulled it out of the bag, and it was a wrinkled mess. I didn't worry about it too much, figuring everything would be perfect for the final fitting after the alterations. But it wasn't. The hem was still terribly wrinkled, and when my mother and I further examined the train, we found ink dots and coffee stains, as if someone had been nothing less than careless with my very expensive designer dress. The staff tried to remove all the spots, but weren't successful. To make matters worse, we never even received an apology, and we had to practically beg for another complementary steaming/pressing to get the gown done right.
Very disappointing, especially considering that all of my other dresses and accessories had been purchased there, resulting in a huge amount of sales for them. I had always heard good things about the line, but I have to say I'm not sure I would recommend it to other brides.

My daughter received a call from David's Bridal 2 months before the wedding saying they had ruined her wedding dress. (They cut and hemmed it twice, so it was now too short.) She was to have her final alteration, but instead had to start all over with a new dress. When we asked what they were willing to do to compensate her for the inconvenience, they said they were not going to compensate her in any way!!! What? Are you kidding me? This was clearly their error, but they refuse to offer any compensation? Not even a lousy free "bride" t-shirt, or something? Obviously this company cares nothing about it's customers. I guess everything I've been hearing about how terrible this company is, is true!!
To top things off, my daughter bought a pair of shoes from them, but found a pair she liked better elsewhere. When she tried to return the shoes to David's Bridal, she was told she could not get her money back. She could, however, exchange them for something else in the store. She picked out a commemerative plate. When we checked the receipt later we found that they had not only NOT refunded the tax on the shoes, but then charged tax for the plate!!
