Marty??s is the latest offering from the owner of Mia Sushi in Eagle Rock.

While being a bit small for a long stay, Marty's really shines as the first destination for a quick bite or drink with a small group of friends on the way out to a longer evening. Many start out by picking their favorites on their digital juke box then grab a table. Get there early and stake claim to the lounge area.

If coming alone or with a friend, I recommend scoring a seat at the bar, as the bartenders are friendly and have experience from other great bars in the area. Reasonable drinks and food are both served at the bar.

Although the aesthetic vibe is WeHo, the crowd is local, meaning friendly and active in the area - new arrivals to the area add to the mixed crowd - so tempo and atmosphere can vary from mild to loud.

I recommend:

Crispy Calamari w/Spicy Tomato Chutney (9)
Crusty Macaroni and Cheese (11)
T-Bone Stead w/Green Peppercorn Sauce (19)
and any choice of
Shoestring, Sweet Potato, or Garlic and Herb Fries (5)

Valet parking is available and suggested, but street parking can usually be found in reasonable walking distance.
