The Fine Grind Cafe & Espresso: First off you gotta love this place just because they're open late! Open 7am till 11pm, 7 days a week! They have free Wi-Fi and plenty of seating and parking.
Their coffee is from Blue Kangaroo Coffee Roasters, a new micro roaster here from Portland. New to the coffee scene but their coffee is pretty outstanding if I do say so myself.
All their food is very tasty, have not been disappointed yet! Jody and Deanne, make most of it from scratch. Other baked goods are from Grand Central Bakery.
Overall feel of the place is friendly (lots of smiles, no attitude and just the right amount of talk... "I haven't had my coffee yet!!!")
This place is where Wired Coffee use to be on SE 39th and Lincoln. In between Hawthorne and Division.
I'd like to see this place do well, they seem to be wanting to make a difference and took the chance by leaving Stumptown coffee to go with the new unknown Blue Kangaroo coffee. (And in my opinion it was a pretty good choice! Good Job)
Give em a try!

Message from Lyrik Cafe

Each and every day, we are proud of our crafted drinks and food. In the mornings I fire up the oven and bake fresh pastries: our signature scones, cookies, coffee cakes, oatmeal, seasonal loaves, and daily specials. In the afternoons, our sandwiches are popular for their generous size and our tasty secret sauces. At happy hour, homemade hummus and bean dip are affordable and delicious??and they go great with a beer or our sought-after Brazilian Cheese Bread (and you can??t find that anywhere else)!
