Hey everyone if you have not visited H. Butler's you need to go and try there food, you can not get any Southern food that taste like this anywhere in the Bay area, If you know anything about good food you will see for yourself. I had someone tell me that they are the VIP Chefs for KBLX Events, So I know they are not going to have someone who can not cook, cook for them, So that alone tells something about H. Butler's. And the staff there all are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean and cozy nice jazz and R&B playing while dinning in the restaurant. I will be back to get more..

this place will rip you off with a smile. Yeah they where nice and a nice place but who cares. I came for the food and it sucked big time. I ordered tri tip with chicken combo. They gave me three thinly sliced piece of roast beef or something and a burnt quarter chicken that cost a 18 bucks. How in the word are they still in business. Maybe the owners do not know what is going on. Anyways do yourself a favor save your money and find somewhere else to eat.

Soul food indeed,Just like my grandma made.I went on a Saturday afternoon.Ordered out some of their delicious catfish,greens,yams,and a corn muffin.For dessert I had A Yummy Red Velvet cake,that makes you wanna slap your mama,its soooo good.The Bright red walls with black and white photos of Jazz greats from Miles Davis-Ella Fitzgerald,really sets the atmosphere to a T.

I had to try this place after friends of ours were raving about it. When we did try it, it was spicier than I had anticipated but pizza tastes great. Nice seating area too. One time we were there, there was a belly dancer performing in the premises. It was fun to watch.
