I bought a part for a customers vehicle from JC Whitney because they were the only place that had the right one that fit. It was supposed to be 2 days for shipping and took closer to two weeks. I just recieved the package today and they sent me a completely different part. I ordered a sway bar and they sent me a bushing set (completely different in prices too mind you)! I called them waited on hold for 45 mins the first time before i got disconnected, second time i waited another 45mins to get someone from 'returns' someone not even from the country. She told me id have to return the part and wait 6-8 weeks for a refund! And on top of that I could place another order for the part but there is NO GUARANTEE that theyll send the right part!! WHAT?!? I asked to speak with a supervisor at this point and another 30 minute wait. And the supervisor said the same crap, if they dont have the part you ordered they just ship something 'close' to what you want. Also, they want ME TO PAY for the return shipping, how in anyway is that a way to run a business. Their thieves plan and simple I will never deal with this company again and will be filing complaints any and everywhere. If you'll still willing to deal with them id advise using paypal, if they try to rip you off you can file a claim on them.

Ordered parts to be shipped within 24 hours only to be told later that they would be shipped in 5 to 7 weeks do to being back ordered.
They then tried to sell me more expensive parts.
Can you say Bait And Switch?
This is the second time they tried doing this to me.
Now they tell me it will take at least 5 to 8 business days for a refund. Here it is well over a week later and no refund.
Really had it with them.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Maybe more people should.

I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH JC WHITNEY!!! I had to Return a product to this company for a replacement---what a mistake! They locked up funds for the refunds and for the replacement, instead of charging me the difference in the products. The customer service rep told me that they would charge me the difference. Nope! They created an entirely new order! The refund for over $500 cannot be received for 3-5 business days. On top of that, they slap another $700.00 plus on me and didn't even call me or send a freakin email.I found out by calling in to track my return and they were even rude about. You call that customer service. I will never buy from this company again. If you have to exchange an item and you fill out the package forms, make sure you request that they call you before they take funds from your account.

JC Whitney ?? I have not ordered from JC Whitney in some time and I can see why. This company has possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

They just keep changing the order date everyday like that's going to appease you. Numerous emails unanswered....What do they do? Just send all coorespondence to the junk mail box?

I don't know if I ever will get this resolve but it will be a cold day in "you know where" before I ever order from this company again.

People avoid at all cost!

BUYER BEWARE! The "no hassle" return and "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" is all just advertising hype. Bought a car alarm system from them. Two days after ordering it online and paying for it, they claimed they had no such order. Three days later I got an order confirmation. Then, it took another week for them to ship it. What arrived didn't even come close to what was in the advertising. I returned it promptly via UPS. Seven business days later I've had to prove to them via UPS that one of their own reps "Hallen" received the package. STILL they have not issued a return.
If you buy from them do not be surprised if you get duped like I did. I now have an attorney on the case in hopes of getting my refund that THEY GUARANTEE is supposed to be hassle free. Typical Illinois crooks.

It's a fact that JCWhitney's customer service sucks, and I don't know what's wrong with them. I didn't understand what their agents are talking about, I'm not a racist but all I ask from them is proper pronunciation and enunciation of the English words.... I hate their service.

The negative reviews here are all true. The bad experience from JCWhitney was common or natural but if it happens all the time it means that there is a problem with their management. They better fix or patch those problems, especially their customer service glitches or else they'll lose their customers, and that will be the start of the sales decline...

I am so disappointed with JCWhitney! My first orders were excellent, there are no problems, but they changed my perception because of their unsatisfactory customer service, I don't know if the agent is a first timer or he just simply don't know what she's talking about... By the way my problem with them is the payment option, and the agent can't simply answer this question "Mode of Payment (MOP)??? What' s that maam?", and many more... JCWhitney what is happening to you???!!!

By the way my problem with them is the payment option, and the agent can't simply answer this question "Mode of Payment (MOP)??? What' s that maam?", and many more... JCWhitney what is happening to you???!!!

The service does not work for me, It's been a while since JC Whitney experience this kind of problems especially with their customer service and it's quite a hassle now to order from them via phone. I don't know if i'll shop again here. The service is quite unsatisfactory.

It's very unfortunate to think that even though JC Whitney offers an easy navigational website with affordable auto parts still, they cannot provide quality and reliable customer service. I inquired for a
DEI EXHAUST WRAPS through their customer service and the agent is not a big help but instead he confuses me on what he's trying to imply about the product, it surely became a burden on my part as a customer to understand every word that is coming out in his mouth.

I don't know what's the problem of Online Auto Parts Retailers they keep on offering something that you don't need they always say "How 'bout if you try our promotions?" and "Do you want to include this offer into your order? it's only for $18.99" I am getting sick with their offers, It's always like that, JCWhitney's Sales Dept. keeps on insisting non-sense items and then add them to your order, by the way I have problems understanding the words that the agent is saying, he's mumbling the words and trying hard accenting every words that he is saying, maybe that's one of the reason why I don't order any extras with my orders. I always say "A BIG no!"
