I have a German Shepard that has been having ear problems for quite some time, I called Dr. Vago, he got him in that day, the staff there was extremely nice and the visit...extremely affordable. They did a great job with Chance (my dog) and after only 2 days, he's feeling much better!!! Thanks to all!!!

I drive from Shaker Hts, as often as I have to, to see Dr. Vago with my chocolate lab "Freddie" he has been diagnosed with a rare form of diabetes, and needs a special formulation if insulin. Doc diagnosed his condition over a year ago and Freddie has gained weight and seems to have more stamina when we walk. His insulin doseage occasionally changes so we have to have blood drawn every month to check his glucose. Doc saves me money by providing his own stock of insulin and sometimes even includes the testing fee. What a Guy! Thanks Doc for helping Freddie and saving me some cash, I owe you....Sincerely, Tony

Dr. Richard has taken care of my cats over the years and even makes house calls...especially since I have become a "shut-in" I have even adopted afew beautiful kittens from him, a wonderful Siamese and a Snowshoe...he has always treated me like family and has given my "little girls" the best of care. I especially remember calling him at home during an Ohio State Game and telling him how my pet Boxer just kealed over and went stiff..He dropped everything and arrived at my house in minutes, unfortunately my belovewd Boxer "Cassie" was pronounced dead and Doc mentioned that it more then likely was a brain annurism!
He consoled me for over an hour and then made immediate arrangements for Cassie to be creamated and the ashes to be returened to me...I will never forget how Doc took those special moments to be with me in my "true hour of need" and how gentle he was with my beloved friend Cassie. GOD BLESS YOU DOC!

Dr. Richard Vago is the most compassionate vet this side of Heaven. Not only does he care about the animals but he loves the people too. Recently I had to have my 14 yr old dog put to sleep...He was very caring and tried to make my family as comfortable as possible and made her last moments here on earth dignified. He knew how much she meant to our family and how devistasted we were. I have 5 dogs and 5 cats...they all see Dr Vago. He shares in our times of joy with our pets. Our dogs Faith and Hope he has seen from puppyhood and loves to watch them grow...he shares in our amazement as to how fast they are growing and knows how much they are loved. He is very dedicated to helping the animals..he is in this business for the animals and not the money. I have read a lot of reviews before choosing him to be our family vet...a lot good and some bad. To the bad ones I say...shame on you! If you dont like the vet then take your animals somewhere else. To the ones that gripe about the cost., I say how can you put a price on a life? If you want a compassionate vet who goes beyond the call of duty, Dr Vago is the man to take your pets to. I think he is reasonable in his prices but even if they are to high for some people...Did you ever hear you get what you pay for? Money is not why he does what he does...he does this because he is an avid animal lover that truly cares about our pets. I for one refuse to watch him be bashed! If you didnt like your family doctor, you would keep looking until you found the right one for you and if your pets mattered to you as much as you claim they do, you should do the same thing for them instead on waiting time online trying to bash a caring man. Everyone is intitled to an opinion..I think Dr Vago and Penny are the best Cleveland has to offer! Signed Wendy&Tom Sturgis. Our pets, Destiny, Tank, Gabriel, Faith, Hope, Disco, Gypsy, Electra, Xanadu, & Oreo. Thanks Dr V for the wonderful way you care for our pets and for us!
