I went to K-mart on Sinclair lane back in December of 2006 and had problem with customer service. I wrote them a letter complaining about being mistreated. The store manager or district manager sent me an email apologizing for the bad service. I was told to go to the store and get a $25.00 gift card for the inconvenience. I did so and waited over thirty minutes to get the card. Then when I tried to use the card it had not been activated. I wrote K-mart again and have not hear back since. I stopped shopping at this location. Then K-Mart put out a great coupons. You had to buy Duracell batteries and two other proctor and gamble products and you received a K-mart gift card. This was a great deal. However, the store on Sinclair Lane did not know how to use them. The coupon had step by step instructions on it but for some reason my cashier could not understand them. There was a lost of disrespect from the cashier as well as the customer service representative. It seemed like my mother and I were the only white people in the store and the only ones getting treated like we were crimininals. You would think a store would hire people that represent the company in a positive way not negative. Not only did we get treated bad the store was not in all that great of condition. The shelves were emplty, however, the extremely high shelves where the overstock is kept was full. The toys in the toy section was all over the floor. In the clothing department everything was just thrown over the racks. There is plenty of parking because the store is never that busy. On the weekend when the store has a few customers they only have one or two cashiers on register and the lines are terrible.I do not think that the K-Mart corporation would want this store representing thier company. I will no longer be shopping at this location. This is the third strike in my opinion against this store. I much rather spend my money in a store that treats me with respect.
