People were nice but definitely cannot be trust them. I went for inspection service. This is the wrong place since this is a tire shop and whatever upsell they want to do will be for tires. Next time I have to go oil shops where inspection service is provided. Also, because inspection service is not a revenue generating activity, service is extremely is slow

Lamb's always does a great job repairing my car. They always go the distance such as recently I left my lights on so I calle dthe Round Rock Lamb's near Dell and they came out and charged the battery. And when I go here for oil changes, they do a flawless job.

I took my car in for an oil change. Well they did the oil change, but forgot to put my oil in before they cranked it. OOPS! So when I drove away - my car was making a little racket. Three weeks later & <300 miles my car quit just as I got on the freeway, would not start - Making a horrible racket. Broke my engine! They did this to my sister's van too. I know about six people that this has happened to.

If you want you car to be ruined and have to pay for it go here. Twice I went to this place and had plugs put in. The first time the car ran good for a few days then ran worse then ever. I checked the engine and everything they took off to get to the plugs were put back on hand tight at best. Some nuts and bolts had already fallen off. Took it back, so sorry sir lets us do it again I will see its done right, so says Russel the then manager. I get in the car and the engine light comes on. Go back in and the mechanic, what a joke, comes and and he had not hook up one of the sensors.
Next time go in with a mustang Saleen, its a coil issue, OK fix it and replace all the plugs.Runs OK for a few days the almost dies, go back in and they say its another coil and they didn't check the plug, test drove and and said it was done, the car was at least as bad as when I took it in. They say well the spark plugs usually gets fouled when a coil goes bad, we want another 80 bucks to fix it. Took it to another place, an actual mechanic, and he pulled the plug and the plugs contact points were touching!! And again everything they took off was not even hand tight. How do they stay in business?

I used to trust Lamb's to give me the true status of my vehicle and not try to sell me on repairs or services I didn't need. This is no longer true.

I hadn't gotten work done at this location in a couple years, since I'd bought a new hybrid and wanted to do the servicing with the dealership while it was under warranty. I went to this location in December 2006 to get my oil changed and inspection, since I didn't have time to take it to the dealer and Lamb's said they'd go get the brand oil I use.

The service went fine, but they told me my brakes were unsafe and I needed to replace pads and rotors, too, since they were too thin to turn. I didn't have the money at the time, so I put it off, I have their estimate still and it came to $497. I thought it strange I hadn't heard any squealing or noise from my brakes if they were that worn.

Months have gone by and I worried and saved money and listened for my brakes to make noise. It's now August 2007, I had my oil changed and tires rotated at the dealership where I normally get my service done. They checked my brakes while the wheels were off and EVERYTHING IS IN GREAT SHAPE. I hadn't said anything until after the service was done about being worried about the brakes.

I was floored to find out that Lamb's had tried to guilt/fear sell me into service I didn't need. The dealership said that my brake pads are half worn at most and my rotors look great.

I won't be going back to Lamb's again.
