I went to Camille's new little private location for a haircut and facial last week and was really happy with change she has made. She used to have this huge space on State street that was hard to get to and now she has a quiet small place up in the foothills below her main house that you can pull your car right up to. I used to have problems getting time with her and now I can book an appointment online or call her directly and get in quickly!

I originally started coming here because I heard that "you will always look great coming out of Camille's".The facility itself is nice/clean. Cuts for around $50. The staff are a bit unprofessional- I always feel kind of like I am in a sorority house. I have had about 3 or 4 cuts here- all with different people-the turnover is high- and most have been average but workable. The last time I had a cut by Louis and it was TERRIBLE! I had long hair- down to the small of my back and originally he said he would recommend keeping it in long layers, but cut off 4-7 inches of the dry ends- which I was OK with. Then he started litterally HACKING away at it- and very quickly it was too late to change. A bit rough with the blow dry, then he flat ironed it and was very rough- JABBING the iron into my hair and nearly burning my neck and ears several times. The layers were too short, creating a harsh look. When I got home I measured the difference and he had taken off 14 INCHES of hair (which had taken 3 years to grow out). I tried to soften the look but the layers then took on bouffant appearance and looked like a "little old lady cut". He said I would be able to wear my hair up but the pony tail was only about 2 inches long and sticks out at odd angles. He also said I would be able to wear it curly or straight but when I wore it curly (the way I wear it 99% of th time) the short layers all piled up in a way that made the cut look completely SQUARE. It is unworkable and does not fit my lifestlye at all. At this point I would not recommend them to anyone- they are too inconsistant and no one should have to wait a year for their hair cut to grow out before it looks good.
