Roberto's Hair Design

I am a guy, that should be said up front. Sometimes I decide to grow my hair long, when I do this the edges of start to look bad after a while. The area around the sideburns, the back, ect. What I find is that hair stylists and barber always take too much off, even when I stress that I just want things cleaned up. I went in to Roberto's after not having had a haircut for over two months. I told him what I wanted, just a minor trim and clean up...and he nailed it. It doesn't seem like a lot, but considering past experience I was thrilled. He cleaned up the edges and gave the whole things a quick cut, w/o taking too much off. It was everything I was hoping for. Plus he is cool and the place is cool. If you're on this site looking for a good place you just found one!

Going to his salon is always a treat - he always has a consultation with me before any services are performed. I always leave the salon feeling beautiful and very satisifed with my color, highlights, and cut.

I'm a steady customer--4 years now. Even at the first visit, he figured out the pros & cons of my hair & how to cut it accordingly. He listens to me & at the same time offers his expert opinion. His hair design skills are not only top-notch, but reasonably priced. I pay him $60 for a haircut. He doesn't push products on me. He occasionally suggests highlights, but no hard sell (I'm cheap). His salon is simple, clean, pleasant, with no snobby attitude. He and his assistant are very sweet people. The only problem is that he often runs 10 or 15 minutes behind. If you are on a tight schedule, I would recommend that you tell him when you make the appointment. Of all the hair stylists I've been been to, I would rate him in the top 2 or 3.
