This restaurant is how all restaurants should be- delicious foods, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere that retains class.
The beef is delectable, and the side dishes are great. The only other restaurants I've seen with such flavorful foods in large portions are Claim Jumper and BJ's (besides hotels and cities not in SoCal)

Well the prime rib is simply amazing. If you dont mind getting fancied up and paying a hefty price for some good beef, then i recommend going here! side dishes (the vegetables) are of course a la carte but very delicious.

The place has been here forever. It's an institution. You have to wait even if you do have an reservation. The food is a flavorful through back to the fifties. The prime rib is great and the setting is very nice.

My boyfriend took me there for our anniversary and it was very nice. The Prime Rib was sooo tender and seasoned very well, and I would love to go again.

Lawrys has great steak and seafood. You can get beef, chicken and fish and of course they have great seasoning. It is called Lawry's. We have gone as a large group and as a couple and have always enjoyed our food.

Friends took us to Lawry's For Prime Rib It was very good. I liked the atmosphere and quick service. Since their specialty is Prime Rib that's what we ordered and we were quiet satisfied. Seems a little pricey to me as each item is extra. I have taken friends to eat there and they loved it. Would recommend this restaurant for special occasions.

Lawry's has that perfect Old School charm and wonderful food mixed together. There Prime Rib is the best there is. The restaurant is very warm and cozy. They have a great bar to hang out while you are waiting for your table. They can get busy, especially on the weekends so it's best to make a reservation. The prices are on the high side but worth every penny. It's an experience you will remember for years. FYI: you have to pay for parking.

World Class

World Class. Can't say it enough. Some people say this location is superior to other Lawry's around the country, and I don't doubt it. The prime rib is better than anywhere, and it's worth a post-dinner bloated feeling because you don't go here every day. The creamed corn is mind-boggling, too. I'm glad I know some people who are grandfathered in and can get the seniors discount that apparently is being discontinued.

my first and only visit to lawry's was exceptional. as expected there was a wait even though we had made reservations. pricing is somewhat on the expensive side considering its a glamourous steakhouse with all the trimmings. had the porterhouse w/ creamed spinach and couple other sides. only thing i didnt like was the seating. we sat next to 2 other couples with barely any privacy which was somewhat annoying. whether it be hearing strangers conversations or them hearing ours. next time i will definitely get a more private table to better enjoy my steak.
PROS: awesome steak, fantastic sides!
CONS: seating - no privacy, expensive..

for the carnivores, i know each and everyone of you will enjoy the savoring luscious smell/taste of lawry's ribs, steaks, and beefs. even for those of you that are vegetarian, the entrees offered for this specified group is absolutely intriguing.

I had heard such wonderful things, but was utterly disappointed. The prime rib was just as fatty and flavorless as that of a Las Vegas buffet. The salad, with Thousand Island dressing, was a throwback to the '50s, when the American palette was accustomed to canned food at every meal. The only thing I want from Lawry's is the Season Salt.

I am not sure if anyone has yet to hear about Lawry's prime rib, but if you have not been there yet go as soon as possible. It is the best prime rib that I have ever had. The menu is limited but you do get a choice of creamed spinach and creamed corn when you order the prime rib and I have been partial to the creamed corn. Half the restaurant is available for walk-ins without reservation, but if you are going on the weekend I highly recommend reservations.

Surprisingly veggie-friendly for a restaurant that specializes in prime rib. The steaks are the size of your plate!
