Lia Schorr Institute of Cosmetic Skin Care Training

I don't know whats with the bad reviews, but my experience at Lia Schorr was amazing! I am not from a big city, and coming to New York I was worried about the people there not being friendly. To my surprise everyone was wonderful! I graduated in 2006 and I loved all my teachers, especially Debra and Valli! I'm not sure if they are still there, but they taught me so much that I still educate clients on to this day! Lia could be a little bit of a perfectionist at times, but she was so humbled by her experiences and what brought her to where she was. I never knew a thing about her until I was just about to graduate when she shared with us everything she went through to become as successful as she is today! I know so much about skincare and makeup, and am proud to say I attended her school! I especially loved Jay Sterling who was our make-up teacher! He was hilarious, smart, and knew what he was talking about! I've been to other schools after graduating to evaluate their curriculum and theirs doesn't even compare to Lia's. Most schools tell you to read the chapter and then a test in a week where at Lia's they take you step by step in each chapter and train and educate you! I work with other estheticians that have gone to other schools, and I definitely know just as much if not more about the real in depth content of the human body and skincare. It's all thanks to her school! I love you Lia and thanks again for making me the best esthetician I can be!
