Gabriel Sher is a true healer. He is patient and kind and a great listener. He really helped me with my myriad symptoms of an auto-immune condition. He expertly discovered underlying causes yet treated my symptoms too. He got rid of my headaches which used to last up to 10 days, and gave me my energy back so I am no longer just dragging through the day. The acupuncture was pain-free (I am afraid of needles) and he also advised me nutritionally and, with my consent, prescribed chinese herbs. Gabriel Sher is a pro; don't hesitate to make an appointment!

I am 3 months pregnant and had a sciatic nerve problem that was so painful, I found it difficult to walk just mere blocks. My left butt cheek hurt so badly I didn't know what to do. I called my obgyn and they suggested acupuncture. I found Gabriel online and saw a lot of great pregnant woman reviews and went in to give it a shot. I am a very shy person, but he made me feel comfortable and I even fell asleep at the end of the treatment.
Three days later, I am walking around like nothing was wrong. I even got into the gym this morning and ran 2 miles. its amazing and I am thankful that I have Gabriel to turn to in case I have ANY more pains.

In short - Gabriel is an amazing Acupuncturist and an outstanding person. You've got to make an appointment.

More specifically - he's incredibly talented at his craft. I've gone to him for countless ailments and every single time I leave in remarkably better condition than when I came in that day. I've referred him to numerous people and every person raves about his results. I'm waiting for my mom to visit so I can send her too!

The treatments are always spot on and the herbs are a wonderful compliment to the work. I truly appreciate that he works to hone the formula to best suit your system as it changes with his treatments.

Furthermore - he cares, listens.. and is supportive in good times and bad. A healer he is - and if you haven't gotten in to see him DO IT - before he gets so booked that you can't get an appointment! REALLY - he's that good.

I am a physician in the suburbs of New York. I suffered from tennis elbow for 18 months. I had 2 steroid injections and lots of physical therapy. Nothing worked. I decided to try acupuncture as a last resort, as some of my friends had done it for various problems. The treatment was not painful and I saw results immediately. Within several months my tennis elbow did not bother me at all. I also had some intermittent arm numbness which is completely gone. I was very impressed with Gabriel and the Sher Acupuncture Clinic.

I am being treated with herbs and acupuncture by Gabriel and he is wonderful! Within two weeks of starting the herbs that Gabriel prescribed my symptoms started to diminish. Also, I am not a fan of needles but, Gabriel walked me through the entire acupuncture procedure - explained everything he was doing and why and made sure I was very comfortable. Gabriel seems genuinly concerned about my health/wellbeing. I have already and will continue to recommend Gabriel to anyone interested in acupuncture and herbal treatments.

I have been having headaches for few years; in the last few months I have had them evey day. My visit at the doctor's office and taking prescription/pharmaceutical medicines did not bring any results. I decided then to go to Gabriel. Gabriel used acupuncture and natural teas to help me. My headaches decreased greatly, and I could start to function normally during the day.

Let me begin by saying, Gabriel is the best !!! He really understands a persons physical and emotional needs. Not only has he treated my numerous injuries, he is adept at understanding the emotional body as well. He is very kind, a great listener and intuitive in his work. I have been a patient for many years. Words cannot begin to express my gratitude for all of the healing he has given to me. I am extremely "grateful" to have
him as an acupuncturist. He is also very "gentle" with the needles. I highly recommend Gabriel for whatever is ailing you..... :) :)

Amazing! I really thought I was going to have to stop running til' I starting getting acupunture for my pateller tendonitis (amongst other possible causes of knee pain due 25-30 miles of pounding per week). 2 weeks after I started seeing Gabriel for acupunture, I ran an personal best 10 miler with NO pain (that is no pain before, during or after my run), and NO pain since (I have since run several longer ones too).
Thanks to Gabriel, I will be able to continue my marathon 2007 training!

I have been treated by Gabe for several years, since his practice was quite new and have reaped the benefits of finally having little to NO tummy troubles, which by the way, I have suffered from all my life. not most ALL!
Gabe's office is beautiful and very accomodating, he is a great listener and has an excellent bedside manner. The treatments were very smooth (no needle pain at all!!!).
I also sent my husband to Gabe to treat a headache problem, and the results were excellent. Gabe prescribed herbs for both. He makes Eastern Medicine easy and accessable for us westerners.

Gabriel has an incredible knowledge of acupuncture and herbs. He tailors treatment to your specific needs and educates you along the way. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable accupuncturist/herbalist.

Everytime I'm in the City, I make an appt to see Gabe. I find this to be both a relaxing and healing experience. Not only is he a kind and considerate human being, but he has a wonderful sense of humor! Since I suffer from chronic daily migraines, this kind of environment and treatment is perfect for me!! I see Gabe as often as possible and would recommend himenthusiastically to anyone suffering from chronic pain.

Gabriel is hands down one of the best acupuncturists/healers I have encountered in my life. I have had chronic issues with neck pain and Gabriel has helped in treating the problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and consistently keeps his patients well informed on how to keep themselves healthy. Gabriel is also very well connected to many alternative professionals who he can refer you to, all of whom are equally as professional and knowledgeable. I have complete trust in Gabriel and would recommend him to anyone in need of a sensitive, knowledgeable, professional, funny acupuncturist/herbalist/healer.

Gabriel has been treating me for the last few years for ailments ranging from menstrual cramps to migraines. I've treated with several other acupuncturists in SF, LA, and NYC and Gabriel is by far the best I've ever seen. He always makes me feel at ease and is not only highly skilled but highly professional as well.

I never write these reviews but I had such a wonderful experience with Gabriel that I needed to share it with others. I am currently 7 months pregnant and have been struggling with terrible lower back sciatica pain. It has kept me out of work and it is just generally uncomfortable. I saw Gabriel a couple of times and the pain has basically gone away! He also has a really easy and comfortable bedside manner...

Going to acupuncture was the turning point in my life. I had several hormonal problems that doctors tried to fix with medications, saying that medication was the only solution to my problem. I suffered from horrible side effects and was extremely unhappy. When I started acupuncture with Gabriel, something began to change. My symptoms started to go away and I started to feel like myself again. Even my doctors didn't understand how acupuncture worked. Gabriel is compassionate, understanding and available. He makes an effort to make patients feel comfortable. His office is clean, quiet and peaceful. I would recommend ANYONE and EVERYONE to seek help from Gabriel.

Gabriel is a great acupuncturist. I suffered from back pain from a motorcycle accident and after a few treatments my back felt 100% better. I recommend everyone to him.

I am prone to stress and anger easily but, through treatment including acupuncture and herbs my health and mental state has become balanced. I feel great after treatments and continue going as preventative medicine for the imbalanced and hectic city life. I don't get colds or have painful periods. Gabriel has the best 'Bedside Manner' too! I have been going to Gabriel for over 4 years and wouldn't go any place else! I never wait, I always knwo what is going on with my energy, I am given indepth attention and special care when I am very sick.
