5 Stars: Deck or Porch - Build or Replace (by Citysearch User)

Excellent quality of workmanship. Dependable and up-front. Integrity as a business. The owner, Jason, was up-front, and a pleasure to do business with. We now are proud of our deck knowing that not only is it beautiful, but safe! Thank you Clover construction.

4 Stars: Wood or Fiber-Cement Siding - Repair or Partially Replace (by Citysearch User)

Clover Construction did a good job on replacing some siding and framing that was damaged due to wood rot, and detaching the deck (to get to the damaged framing) and replacing it when they were done. This was a time and materials job, and although they did go over the original estimate a little, I thought it was reasonable. They were also happy to take care of a little extra scope of work that I requested during the process. Jason Ireland provided a detailed list of the number of hours spent, as well as copies of receipts for the materials used on my job.

5 Stars: Concrete Driveways & Floors - Install (by Citysearch User)

Jason Ireland and his concrete-form guy Lance did a wonderful job at my home. They were very courteous to myself, husband and my 3 1/2yr old daughter. Jason did our driveway, a french drain connecting our exsisting driveway to our new one, and 3 additional steps to blend in with our existing concrete stairs. Lance did an outstanding job blending the stairs together and gettting the proper look- they do look as if they were always there and not just an addition. Our driveway looks excellent and is contoured to also look as if it were original and not added on. Although we started in mid-may the project took much longer than expected do to another sub-contractor Jason had been working with.
George -a sub-contractor. George was hired to install some boulders as a retaniing wall and he was good and efficient for 1/2 the day- after lunch he was basically useless and all creativity was lost and the work done from that point of the day was horrible. Upon arriving the next day and talking to hmi about our concerns for the rocks laid he refused to change anything and said it was hard scaping and we didnt have the eye for what it would look like finished. Needless to say Jason had to deal with us being unhappy with George. All in all the rocks are laid and the few I am not thrilled with are going to have to stay for now. The lesson learned- DO NOT BRING IN A SUB-CONTRACTOR UNLESS THEY ARE THOROUGHLY CHECKED> I would have loved to speak to past clients of George. He was a challenge to work with- would not take my ideas to action and after everything left the job site uncompleted.
We spoke to Json about this and were able to come to a compromise of sorts.
Because of our dealings with types like George - we ask that everyone coming to our proprty si

4 Stars: Wood Stairs and Railings - Install or Replace (by Citysearch User)

The new stairs look great and I was happy with the final result. The owner, Jason, was responsive and easy to work with. And the carpenter, Tavis, did a very good job and was very courteous. I've rated budget and value as fair, which is in comparison with the other estimate I received. A pile of scrap wood was left behind, otherwise I probably would have given them a very good for cleanliness. I would certainly consider them again for future projects.

5 Stars: Landscape - Install Landscaping for Yard or Garden (by Citysearch User)

Jason was able to coordinate the designer, stone expert and soil decisions with a minimum of effort on our part. The result for us is a beautiful foundation for a brand new backyard that meets all of our desires for how to use the space.
